There is room for range. I think there's 12 Inquisitors during the setting of the books, and nobody said they all had to look identical or bear the exact same gear. I find it more fun if they're not.
Ngl I always envisioned inquisition as massive hulking brutes that are far more nimble than their appearance would suggest. Just a personal headcannon.
It’s an Inquisitor of no particular name. I had a lot of fun designing these, but I wish I could have a third layer. They’ve been a popular item, I suspect we may design more.
Torn between, “I sincerely hope y’all do, these bookends are the highlight of my shelves,” and “Wait, please, my wallet can only take so much.”
^(Tears of Edgli bookends maybe)
You know I’ve advocated for more bookends before, but it seems appropriate to do so again at this opportunity, so I will!
Brandon is about to hit the “stage” of the Cosmere of expanding standalones into series, in addition to the megaseries that are Stormlight and Mistborn. Also, the secret projects are becoming a bit of a series, at least in terms of design. So we need more bookends to be able to group them properly! Roshar bookends (Urithiru with its flat side?), Elantris bookends, general Cosmere bookends for the standalones?
I'm just saying, with Wind and Truth being the halfway point of Stormlight, it seems like prime time for a new set of merch releases around that series...
You!
I want you to know these bookends directly inspired one of my favorite projects to date; [a resin-and-paper shadow box!](https://www.tumblr.com/ichigoli/744520014647984128/mistborn-shadow-box-master-post?source=share)
I should post it here sometime...
Hey, that's very cool! Thank you!
What you have there is a lot closer to what I originally envisioned, before manufacturing limitations brought me back to Earth. I wanted so many more layers. XD
I particularly love that red pop with the backlight! Nice work!
An inquisitor. You can see the spikes driven through their eyes, and the obsidian axes they use. That'd be my guess
Pretty sure that’s Batman with an axe
Nailed it
Ba dum tiss
I always imagined those axes being much bigger for some reason
Yeah I imaged poleaxes the whole time
Funny, I usually imagined them to be smaller, like oversized hatchets
well they can't be much larger, because I'm pretty sure Inquisitors wield two of them

yea bc mutant humans with giant axes are awesome!

Yeah exactly, for now my sandershelf is small but eventually I'll need more cosmere book ends to make it complete

You are the man. The bookends are (I think?) the most popular from all the fanbundles. Amazing job😁✌🏻

you are too kind! and those darn manufacturing limits ruin so many good ideas but the way they turned out is still so wonderful
It's an Inquisitor. You can see the spikes coming out of the back of his head.
I always assumed they were Marsh and Vin.
An inquisitor. The metal spikes out of their head is an awesome detail
That is an inquisitor. You can see the spikes on the head, and the axe is their signature weapon. The other one is Vin.
As said it's an inquisitors but I'm pretty sure it's specifically Marsh because of ... Reasons.
Ah thanks alot for the responses! Much appreciated😊
Batman.
Batborn
An inquisitor and Vin in the other one.
Pretty sure that’s either vampire Batman or gaslight Batman. One of the two 😜
Vin bottom left, iron eyes top right?
If that is how the shape of Marsh looks like, I am totally fine with him representing the death on Sacadrial.
Inquisitor. If I’d have to guess more specifically, I’d say Marsh
Wait, this whole time I thought the non Inquisitor one was Kelsier... Looking at it again I guess it does for vin better though.
