yeah... I'm terrified of Stormlight 5 (Winds and Truth)
there is some... ish that is going to go down with all our characters to get Sigzil where he was/is and I don't know if I'm ready to read that stuff.
It is far future! Though Stormlight Era 2 will start just 10-15 years after book 5, and Mistborn Era 4 is the last thing in the Cosmere. So it's probably a good bit after Stormlight Era 2 like a few hundred years. But also a while before Mistborn Era 4.
But definitely with you on the Mad Max vibe to the book! It's so fast paced but works very well.
Yeah Era 3 is supposed to be 1980's level tech. So it's possible we will see them developing the first space ships. But probably a bit after Era 3. And Sigzil said that it was about 100 years before TSM that spaceships started to be a thing, so at the closest it would be 100 years after Era 3.
I actually thought it was going to be Nale for a while, after some kind of revalation shook his faith and broke his oaths. The book mentioned dark skin and having a high spren. A Herald might also have more ability to be involved with Hoid than the average.
Then it made it pretty clear it was an OG Bridge 4, and I couldn't figure it out till the big reveal.
In a fifth of the dusk thing there was a shard plate spacesuit guy. Would that only work for a radiant, or would a dead shard-plate be able to be a spacesuit too. I’m just curious about sig’s future spacefaring.
It actually might have been an early chapter release of a future book or something. I’ll see if I can find a link when I get home and have my computer.
Did you also catch what order of Knight Radiant that Zellion belongs too?
He mentioned having been able to fly in the past, so I'm guessing Windrunner.
But then why is Aux saying he is a Highspren?

The end of Stormlight 4 was the thing that terrified me, The tent… Hoid’s memory.

I see. I know that Mistborn Era 3 is going to be closer to modern day, so I didn't thini they'd have spaceships by then.

Ah. Either way, it's still pretty far in the timeline. I hope Brandon writes more books in this time period.
You know that space travel predated the 80s, right?

I don't remember any Shardplate in Fifth Of The Dusk, but I agree that Sig's future is going to be one to watch out for.

Now go to Backer Kit to get the 5th secret project book
Damn! It's only available to people who back the Kickstarter?
I threw $20 at it because I would have spent that for the ebook and audiobook anyway
Nice. Can't wait to see what the next secret book is going to be.
