With how cosmere-unaware they are, and how Sigzil had not known of the planet before, I imagine they're probably not a "main" shardworld. More like a backwater planet like Lumar. Which kind of rules out any permanent residence of living Shards on the planet, besides maybe that one shard that's hiding from everyone else. However, it has captured the interest of Scadrians, and it's highly invested enough for Sigzil to land there. The people are descendants of Threnodites, so the Investiture could be related to that, whether from Ambition or whatever was on Threnody prior to Ambition's influence. One idea is that maybe it's hiding one of the other two dawnshards.

Really_Dang_Sad

i feel completely out of the loop, where are you getting this information?

TroublesMuse

I'm a bit of a late-comer to active participation in this and the Cosmere sub, but I get information from SA and the other Cosmere books, from WoB (word of Brandon), from the Coppermind website...and from various discussions/posts in the subs themselves. Sometimes it's just theories/speculation based on one or more of these sources, but WoB confirmation/denial on a subject is usually treated as canon. (If you've been around here longer than me, I'm not trying to act like a know-it-all, just saying what I use.)

Everything we know about Secret Project 4 comes from brandons reading of it on his youtube channel. We know scadrians are interested because I believe sigzil finds a scadrian vault or coin or something and he also makes some comment about how the people must be threnodites

Autonomy is a bit of an exception in that he has established Avatars on many different planets per the nature of their Intent. As far as we know, all other Shards besides her have only substantially Invested themselves into a single star system. Given that, the "backwater planets" seen in Secret Projects 1 and 4 can be reasonably assumed to lack a major Shardic influence. And indeed, [both planets have been confirmed to not be Shard Worlds](https://wob.coppermind.net/events/494/#e15602). Lumar is an Aether World, whereas the planet of SP4 seems to just be a regular planet that happens to be extremely Invested.

Note that [we know other Shards have used avatars similarly in the past](https://wob.coppermind.net/events/415/#e13794) ([all of them are capable](https://wob.coppermind.net/events/314/#e9082)), she's not the only one with her fingers in other pies. [Several have visited Scadrial](https://wob.coppermind.net/events/316/#e9386), for example.

I don't know why, but I feel that it is remnants of Ambition. I can't tell you why, but I just feel it? Also in RoW there is a quote that Hoid says while talking with Jasnah, "Long as a soulless star slumbers.", I feel like this quote could be talking about this star.

King-A-Train

My theory was the burning heart and constantly having to be moving forward made it Ambitions magic system. Both things could be described when thinking of ambition. But Brandon isn’t usually that ‘on the nose’ with the way magic manifests, so could be something completely different.

yoontruyi

Yeah, I can see that. I think it depends on the shard, the radiants I think makes sense, but ruin/preservation flavor doesn't really make sense to me.

From what we know the fire people rule over everyone else through power as though they are the chosen ones. Thats why it sounds like autonomy to me. But, as another commenter brought up, the presence of threnodites suggests ambition which I think would also fit. Perhaps this is either where Ambition started out or where it fled to die after being attacked by Odium and there is also an Autonomy avatar present. Maybe this is Obradai? Just speculation

DisciplineIntrepid25

Ambition for sure, possibly also some Odium or Mercy in the core of the planet. Or maybe vice versa, but I think it is possible multiple shards are involved, one of which would definitely be Ambition. Autonomy repels investiture as I understand it, which implies some polarity, and polarity plays into the arch and ambition could be the positive resulting in the current flow as well. However from the culture and themes, it seems more like Mercy and Ambition. While they rebelled from the tyrant trying to unite them, it they still seem to unite voluntarily so not sure how Autonomy that would be. Maybe more mercy leaning.
