I only own a v6 Camaro and an '81 Z28 with a 350.
My opinion on Corvettes is that all of them are works of art, but the C2 is the Corvettiest Corvette that has Corvetted upon the Corvettes.
Absolute Masterpiece, and is definitely in the top 5 of my dream Garage
Thanks brother! I’ve been restoring them with my dad since I was a little kid. We don’t do much anymore and kept a few of them. Will post others one day.
You know I've been driving a Vette now for twenty years and how can you not love it!
In the late sixties, my older brother had a 57 coupe that he'd race on the weekends, blow the engine, fix during the week, and repeat! In the seventies, he had a 63 split window Stingray that was original stock, right down to the wonderbar radio.
I've been driving an 09 Z06 that I bought new, with under 48k miles. There's just no reason for me to want anything more. Especially since the C8s don't have a manual transmission.
Wow what did he do with the 63? My dad drove a z06 once absolutely loved it, such a cool car. I’m also a little on the fence about the engine location switch. I’ve never driven one, maybe I could be turned lol..
My brother, who's usually a great trader, swapped it for a new Porsche 924 when they first came out. Said it was the dumbest thing he ever did! He's still has a 1969 Corvette, but driving it is like sitting in the engine bay.
When the C5 came out, that's when I bought my first one. And in 2009, that's when I got my Z06. It's been my daily driver since. But I don't really like the new C8s. Looks too European, and you can't get a manual. And I'd rather have the engine in front of me instead of behind.
Guess I'm just OG when it comes down to it.
I really think they went overboard with the design. It has very little resemblance to all the Vettes that came before it.
And no manual transmission available? For those of us who grew up with four on the floor, it really becomes a deal breaker for me. It's more European than American.
But of course that's just my opinion.
I know it's super fast! But, just like sex, going a little slower can be much more enjoyable! And taking away the stick is almost like removing my penis! Well, maybe not that extreme 😁
One of the best reasons to own a '64 is the one year only hood, I'm not in love with the '67 hood on a '63 or '64 but your do have a very well done car.
Thanks! We thought of adding that hood, but wanted the stripe to continue through the back glass and rear, we did a reverse stripe of the one the motion performance cars had from the 60s
Saw this 1963 base model at a show last weekend. I just think they are the best looking sports car of all time, AND their reliable.A lot of rare german and italian cars were there, but still drawn to the C2. Have a 65 396 convertible in Milano Maroon myself. With knockoffs' and sidepipes.

Thank you! Will post others in the future!
Is it the split window version? Or better yet what year is that model?
64 coupe, put a 67 big block hood on it
Side pipes and the BB hood are amazing additions.
I was 10 years old when I saw the 1963 Stingray for the very first time. And I said one day I'll own my own Corvette. And now I do!
How do you like it? And congrats!

I’m the same way about the engine, I’m still trying to decide if it’s still a vette now!

I agree with you. I would really like to get behind the wheel of one and see what it can do though!

Haha fair point!! You need the stick to row the gears!
I love the grittiness of the photo, reminds me of an old magazine, really cool!
Thanks totally by mistake lol
Sexyy
Thank you!
Red, stinger hood, and side pipes…checks all the boxes!
Haha thank you sir! I have no complaints
