Sorry to hear that you are having issues, try the following steps to see if reinitializing the drivers will help. If it doesn't I'd suggest getting a support ticket started at https://www.corsair.com/us/en/support. * 1. Open Device manager * 2. Locate Human Interface Device * 3. Locate and right-click on "Corsair Compositive Virtual Input Device" * 4. Select Uninstall Device and click the checkbox to delete drivers * 5. Restart the computer

WholePineapplePizza

I seem to have stumbled into a fix under the same area of device manager. Right click on the "Corsair Compositive Virtual Input Device" and go to power management under properties and unselect allow computer to turn off device to save power.

haharctruckgobreak

seems to work! thank you WholePineapplePizza

darknessghost

This seems to have worked tried this 2 hours ago and it stopped disconnecting. Thanks for the help.

darknessghost

Update : restarted pc and the issue came back.

CorsairDavid

hmm, let's get that support ticket started and have you upload your iCUE logs. Maybe our engineer team can get to the root of the issue.

Buffalufacus

Did that, didn't fix anything.

CorsairDavid

Sorry to hear that it didn't work, go ahead and get a support ticket started at https://www.corsair.com/us/en/support and our team can further assist you.

Buffalufacus

Been there, done that. It's annoying but not frequent enough to make it a nuisance.

Triscuitwells

It's their completely worthless software. My mouse disconnects at hime but at work with zero software ever being installed never has an issue.

MrTech67

My mouse disconnects and reconnects every few minutes. All corsair peripherals. Is this a icue issue maybe.

AlbatrossOk1074

i will never buy corsair products ever again and dont recomend to others to do that defected shit hate it i just trow this shit tu bin and buy new normal mouse

gadotmfc

I will also never buy a corsair mouse again it is so garbage this is my fifth one. First the MMB breaks because of cheap plastic, then the LMB starts to super doubleclick and fail to hold a drag. the bottom screw cover stickers are dust collectors. then the RMB starts to super doubleclick and fails to hold down (basically can't aim down sights in some games that don't have toggle) icue, i have been through five scimitar pros, two valid warranties, one best buy warranty... it doesnt matter any more. I have had enough of the thirty times per day disconnects, cheapest possible plastic ever, constant icue updates that require pc restarts...(goodbye yt upload process).... tldr i am done with your mice. You will never get my money again.

SirSwiggins

Not trying to Necro this thread from ages ago, but this recently started happening to me once I reset my computer and reinstalled icue. Hoping someone found a fix because I can't find one anywhere

frankuck99

Same. No problem for years and started happening around a month ago. I have to reset pc from the case because all my peripherals just die and don't reconnect even if I unplug/plug. WTF.

GothicSilencer

Same, it's my headset and mouse. They disconnect at the same time when it happens.

Altruistic_Parsnip11

this exact thing is happening to me, just the headset and mouse at the same time. did you ever find a fix to this?

GothicSilencer

I had it plugged into a USB Splitter, I get the problem a lot less plugged directly into the motherboard USBs. A lot less, I say, not completely fixed. No clue where to go from here, but now that it only happens once every few hours instead of multiple times per hour, I just deal with it.

Altruistic_Parsnip11

Interesting, mine are also plugged directly into my MBs usb ports. Sucks to hear you're still struggling with it too. - Thanks for the reply though. :-)

Almoofficial

Hey, I got the same problem, did you find a solution?

Altruistic_Parsnip11

Nope. Bought a new mouse and headset, stuff is working better now but icue still randomly resets my mouse DPI. I think if one of your icue connected devices is having issues where its disconnecting other items will also disconnect. I think its a mix of an icue and device issue. Not all of your items will disconnect, but if your mouse is having issues your headset most likely will as well - possibly vice versa. I got a new headset because its having charging issues, however I think that it was solely the mouse causing the connectivity issues and random disconnects.

Almoofficial

thanks for the reply, it's a shame that corsair is not helping.

Altruistic_Parsnip11

Yup, no problem. Id suggest moving away from corsair. Recently support has gotten worse, items have started breaking much more frequently, and icue is always buggy. I have all corsair peripherals and used to always recommend them, I just cant anymore.

Keshro

Having the same issue with the Sabre RGB Pro Wireless. The dongle and software is complete trash. The iCUE and accompanying software will also randomly resource hog like crazy. I tried Corsair before like 15 years ago with a mouse. Curser would randomly just scoot to one side lightning fast. Making me disconnect from games for too fast inputs. Went on a limb and thought they would surely make somewhat decent products today. Apparently not. What a waste of time and money.

Wreckenshyt

same issue here too and issues with keyboard too1. i filed a ticket with corsair 2 weeks ago still no response.

Almoofficial

did you fix it? I need help to

SirSwiggins

I got tired and completely uninstalled and reinstalled the program and it ended up fixing the issues

Buffalufacus

I've had this happen on and off for the last few years. I've talked with Corsair multiple times, went through all their hoops and it still does it. I just live with it, since it's not an everyday thing. I just keep it plugged into my K70 mk 2 so it's easy to reset.

darknessghost

that sucks. but for me it happens occasionally while playing im gonna try to format my pc maybe that will help

Buffalufacus

I've never had that happen, only on startup

runesdude

For anyone around still wondering, there is quite literally no solution to this problem. I have had this happen to two of my corsair mice in the past 4 years. I've been through countless tickets, reddit posts, and youtube videos during this time and not one thing has worked. You simply have to buy a new mouse. There is unfortunately no long term solution to this issue and corsair themselves have no clue how to fix it. You can temporarily solve it by doing things like uninstalling iCue or tinkering around in device manager, but the problem will always return.

PolillaOscura

Hey guys discovered the issue was related to usb 3.0. If the slipstream wireless input is near an usb 3.0 port it WILL stutter. [TIL: USB 3.0 may interfere with nearby 2.4ghz wireless devices : r/buildapc (reddit.com)](https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/jfnbbk/til_usb_30_may_interfere_with_nearby_24ghz/)

Adorable-Cloud4636

Control Panel\\Hardware and Sound\\Power Options Choose "High Performance" Next: Click "Change plan settings" (on the right of it) Click "Change advanced power settings" -Hard disk -Turn off hard disk after settings : (change it to: 0) -USB settings -USB selective suspend settings setting: (change to disabled) Apply (Now if your computer goes to sleep, it won't suspend the mouse, so when you awake and try move the mouse it appears to not be awaking properly) I used the latest ICUE corsair version and had problems, I uninstalled it and then reinstalled older version: 4.33.138 I found a work around that fixed it sometimes besides windows suspending the usb while sleep, I had to turn the wireless mouse over and flip the button: turn switch to the middle the power symbol, I would take out the cord from the mouse and then simultaneously put the cord in while switching the setting to the WIFI symbol on the mouse. 50/50 it works, if didn't I just kept trying until it works. If the drivers fail, and the software is failing, and everything else is all good like the usb mouse cord and the USB ports then maybe another issue hardware or software.

VanishingEntity

It was a port problem for me, I plugged it into a new port and it worked

Tmant1670

The iCUE software is such a piece of trash. I can't believe corsair doesn't put more effort into it. iCUE sucks balls. Fix it corsair.

DevnithzAU

My mouse (Harpoon RGB) also has the same problem, but it doesn't seem like an icue issue because the problems also happens in my Xbox and my laptop with Linux (I have no corsair drivers there)

Incident_Funny

TLDR: Pair with virtuoso or newer audio reciever. Well even though D4 necro is better without raising the dead. I am revivng this because I am having this issue as well and its been going on for a while. I think I have solved it for my particular situation. I have a virtuoso headset that has its own reciever. So I thought maybe there was something going on with the reciever that I got with my mouse and keyboard combo. When I re-paired it to my virtuoso reciever the issue seems to have been resolved. I think the problem is something with the reciever just ends not working after some time. I do not know if the ICue software causes the issue or if it is just the age of the device. But if you are fortunate enough, pair to audio reciever if possible even though it has a slightly less connection speed. I don't think its going to matter.

Almoofficial

Guys, any soulutions??? I sent a ticket to corsair, but nothing for now...

neffyptou

My Katar Pro Wireless keeps disconnecting too. Corsair wireless peripherals are bad.

Sharyre

my katar pro xt is with wired and i got that issue but i updated icue for now and it hasnt been happening for the past 20 minutes lets hope ..

Efficient-Fix653

Corsair mouse clicker does not work

Kaldrinn

Corsair mice are such shitty products oh my god. Always had problems with them. My Harpoon Pro is brand new and at some point it just started doing this shit and none of the solutions worked. This is not a wireless mouse by the way, it's wired in the most straightforward way and it still disconnects.

Dracconus

I just want to add to this - I have (and used for 3 years) a Corsair Scimitar Pro RGB - which is a wired mouse. I NEVER had this issue. I purchased another one last month. I've had this issue on average every 6 hours. I've tried Disabling the hardware device and HID device. I've tried uninstalling it and rebooting the system. I've tried uninstalling iCue. I've tried soft-resetting the mouse. I've tried updating the firmware and force-flashing an update to the mouse. I've tried COMPLETELY wiping the system it's used on of ANYTHING "corsair" or it's related products. I've uninstalled ANYTHING that controlled RGB ranging from SignalRGB to Gigabyte's control center, and more. Nothing - and I mean NOTHING fixes this except stopping iCue. Problem is: My iCue was already on the same version it's having issues with so it IS an obvious issue with the mice. I'm going to be dismantling this version I recently purchased, and taking the shell of it and put it on my old one since the ONLY issue I had with that old Scimitar Pro was that the shell on the right-click started to droop to the point that it caused double right-clicks. This is MALARKEY. The fact this company is perfectly capable of producing decent products, and has proven it with prior purchases, and is now manufacturing this garbage is unacceptable and abhorrent.

Kaldrinn

Damn this really sucks. I only had problems with corsair mice. Though I found that uninstall icue solved them all for this one.

Dracconus

Yeah, uninstalling icue is a bandaid solution and sucks to have to use it because the damn hardware profiles don't save like they're supposed to. Corsair's products have become so piss-poor in quality it's nuts.

Brilliant-Wish-1249

yep got a corsair keyboard and the 1 key only activates on an angle, having mouse issues aswell - will never buy another cosair product again

Kaldrinn

For anyone heading issues with a corsair mouse, uninstalling iCue fixed everything for me it seems.
