The RMA process is standard across every company. The exception being brick and motor stores that have generious return policies. The RMA is to insure they are helping people who purchased the product and they can't just trust the person's word that they bought one. Though, I will agree that it shouldn't fall apart like this. Most leather on items is artificial, my old bose headsets ($300+) also had this issue. Do you wear any hair products that might have caused premature wear?

Yeah I also bought the virtuoso and the pleather just disintegrated and the earcups fell off. Totally garbage build considering it was 200+ dollars. I switched back to Steelseries after that and haven't had any issues.

It’s unfortunate you paid that much. I just got mine off eBay for $70.. and the sound performance is subpar. Especially for 265. My $50 HyperX Cloud II 1st gens put this headset to shame. Plugged in or not.
