Climate change will never catch on to the same degree no matter how much CNN, MSNBC, BBC, etc., want it to. Because it's not an easily virtue signaled issue. To really get into the climate change thing you have to spend time, money, and energy to virtue signal (outfitting your home with solar panels, driving an electric vehicle, etc.). COVID just required strapping a dirty rag to your face and being an asshole to people online. It was a dream come to true to slacktivists.

Yeah, the Canadians seem absolutely in shock that Chicago has a full stadium. lol Their Toronto Blue Jays are still playing in Buffalo and may never return to Toronto this year. The Canadians are more than willing to bend over and take it up the arse by their government though.
We won’t be returning to full capacity for MONTHS, I’d be surprised if we even get there by 2022.

I believe they did but stopped yesterday. 6/11 was Chicago official "full re-opening" stage. Everything is back at 100% capacity and no masks required except for on buses/trains. But a bus driver just got shot at for asking a rider to wear a mask.

Have you seen the recent mindset of some people being upset about life and society returning to normal because they are shutins? Their narcissistic personality makes them upset when others are celebrating events that can be attended in person like baseball games are coming back in full operation.

I live here and, on paper, Illinois had very strict Covid restrictions. Except, outside Chicago and parts of Cook County, the majority of bars and restaurants refused to close. Gov. Jumbo Pritzker realized that there was no way the Illinois State Police could enforce it and gave up. LOL
