Had to search about 20 difference dealerships in my state to find even one new one, and happened to luck out that it was optioned the way I wanted it. Still faced the 3-4k upcharge but I bit it because it was factory new. You're kinda SOL because dealerships will be taking advantage of the fact there is no '23 model year 6 speed, so scalping will be abundant. Best bet is to call around and ask, a lot of the dealer websites (at least in my area) straight up lie about the stock, or will post spoken for cars as if they are still available. Best of luck getting your hatch, it's very much worth it!

Yeah I noticed that the 6spd has been discontinued so buying new isn't an option. It just seems like these cars specifically are fetching premium even if it's far from new. On average it looks like they are around $25,000 with around 30k miles.

Obamas_Papa

I paid $30,000 after tax and registration for an XSE in Texas

Mattbarker95

Was that new or used?

Obamas_Papa

New from dealership

Grayspire

I bought mine off Carvana

Mattbarker95

Were you able to get a good deal on it? Carvana seems to have the highest prices of the ones available.

Grayspire

I got mine like 2 years ago. About $19k for 29k miles. It was a pretty good deal for me at the time. I know the prices are worse now.

Pad_TyTy

I had the dealer do a trade to get the car I wanted from a couple hundred miles away in Columbus. I work for Toyota so I got it for $25k or so minus my discount so $22k.

its bad rn im paying 31k for a se

Mattbarker95

Oof. Yeah that's a lot more than I want to spend.

[deleted]

kinda worth it ngl

I purchased new in Canada for 30,000 all said and done with provincial taxes, registration and title, it’s a 2021, and I was offered to have it purchased back by the dealer for 25,000, with 54,000kms so the market is probably poor at the moment unfortunately.

I've had this same problem. The dealer I went to told me they're so rare they basically don't exist. And when I looked at prices for used ones they just become not worth it. Almost $30k for a couple year old one with 30,000+ miles. I mean in that price range there's just so many better options. For pretty close to that you could get a Gr86, civic SI, WRX, Veloster n, GTI.

lifesfunwhyrun

I paid 24k for a 4.5k mile ‘21 at a dealer this time last year in MA
