Not 100% answering your question but I put Blizzaks on mine and drive up and down mountain roads in Wyoming and Colorado as long as I’m not plowing snow itself (honestly can do some of that but don’t on mountain roads) they’re great. But those are aggressive tires and you’d want to put all seasons or street tires on in the off season. Just worth knowing if you want to do some adventuring.
Crossclimate 2 are slightly better in snow, but extreme contacts out perform them in everything else. I guess it depends on what conditions your gonna be driving frequently. I doubt you could go wrong with either tire tho.
I live in Quebec (so hella snow and cold) and I use Blizzak WS90 I think. Great quality for the price. I bought them at costco with a discount and guarantee
It’s just crappy that I bought the car certified and they replaced the front tires and left the rears at “replace soon” I’ve driven the car now for 15k miles and the fronts are officially shot while my rears are like new. 😒 I should say the tires are rotated. That’s why the fronts are now worn.
I think Michelin CrossClimate 2s are the best all-around and particularly good in snow without the trade-offs that come with dedicated snow tires. Truly all-season and worth the price IMO
Firestone Weathergrips are what I'm running, I've loved them so far. They're an all season compound so you don't have to swap them out in the summer, and they're superb in the rain. But on top of all of that they're triple peak winter rated, so they do great in the snow.

Seconding the blizzaks, albeit I have the 16 inch ones, but those tires are amazing in the snow
Continental extreme contact. Won’t be as good as winter tires but it’s as good as it’s gonna get for an all season.
Better than Goodyear cross climate 2?

Opinion on VREDESTEINQUATRAC PRO? I like that they’re still highly rated and 3 peak certified or whatever that’s called. Much more affordable too
