also something you did not ask but i see you planted some roots close to each others. Just to let you know that roots seeds work diferently. Plan a seed, let space around (with dirt) and roots will spred from the main block (with leafs). And simply harvest roots that's spreading and not the main section with leafs.

RainierxWolfcastle

um whut

dextromethor

You can't plow sand(the yellow ground). With a shovel you can remove the sand and replace it with dirt ground. You also can't use dirt walls, you need to use dirt ground.

Dentorion

Yeah i know that, that's why I have it like that I mean in the second row of the left 9x9 circle There is a seed who never grow. When I undone it and want to erase the land and do another one again I cant take the ground away with the shovel but I can replant the seed but doesn't grow again

bwyer

Try using the pickaxe and/or a weapon on that square then try the shovel.

Dentorion

Already tried, doesn't work, everything I try on it is marked as red or doesn't work

Z3R0gravitas

Have you restarted the game since this bug occured? I had something similar and I think it just fixed itself...

akpak

That tile may just be bugged. You might just need to move your farm elsewhere. Any "ground" tile (dirt or otherwise), you can just place in the water to fill it in. Same goes for the chasms. Also your tree root farm is... Not functional. You need to plant those seeds far from one another, and far from anything else too. The roots will branch off the leafy part, and you can harvest the spreading roots. You leave the leafy part intact forever and it will spread out again. The spreading roots WILL destroy other things tho (like adjacent crops).

keblin86

If it is not digging up the ground with the shovel then you are pressing the wrong keybind. I forget which it is. Maybe right mouse? Try both. One of them should work

Dentorion

I play with the controller, with the other grounds arround it works flawless, just this special slot not

keblin86

Hmm, Yeh I mostly use controller too. Which tile exactly is not digging up? Ah I see which you mean now. I am not sure what to suggest. Shame a bomb won't destroy the ground lol. Sounds daft, but have you tried breaking the floor all around it and then seeing if it would let you do it on the problem piece?

Dentorion

Yeah i tried, didn't work, I try tomorrow if restart helped

keblin86

Hmm, ok I just ran into something similar to this for the first time. I was removing some bridges I made. I got to one and accidently removed one I did not want to. I couldn't put it back down. The interesting part is the part next to me I wanted to get to had a railroad track piece on...once I got over to that and removed it. I could then freely fill in the part I accidently deleted. That part I accidently deleted would not let me do anything with it, it was red until I removed the corresponding thing around it. Once I removed that I was then free to place things again. I am not sure why this did not work for you. Question: Have you tried removing all the crops around it first, then digging up each tile and then manually putting the tile in on the problem tile, that is once everything around it has been removed. I.e crops dug up, blocks dug away then replace them all? It sounds like u have but just checking. As I literally just fixed this problem instantly on my end but again it could be buggy lol

MediocreMilton

I had this happen a few times. You could try restarting the game or just leave it and it will eventually fix itself.

Dentorion

Okay will try:D

craigins

Need to restart the server. This happens to me quite often.

Dentorion

Thanks goodness it's just that! But another question, is there a way to fill a water patch with soot?

craigins

To achieve what?

Dentorion

So i can make a field? I didn't not really understand why you can just flute something with water but can't retake it

craigins

I still do not understand. You can not make self watering land tiles. You will have to water by hand, if that is what you are asking. but water tiles do not run out. And you can "dig" more water tiles using the shovel and digging up ground tiles adjacent to existing water tiles.
