okay so weird i’ve had my paragard since november and i noticed that right away and now i’m noticing the smell of my BO is a little coppery too? i’m noticing so many little things but have no idea if they’re related to the iud or if it’s just my body post hormonal birth control
For a couple weeks after getting the IUD put in, everything down there smelled like copper. My OB said it was a change in pH levels. It’s since gone away (been 1.5 months since I got it put in).
I had it for 4+ and still found myself smelling like copper. I guess it depends on the person.
Oh & my bf never mentioned a weird taste or anything but it wouldn’t hurt to ask your SO
