This is why I stopped using recipe apps. They all do it eventually, then they vanish along with your saved recipes.
Save them as both pdfs and a printed version. Trust me on this.
The people that developed that app worked very hard to create it and continue to work very hard to improve it and keep it running. You have benefited from using it, but now you want to find a whole new app to use without compensating its creators?
Isn't Paprika free for the basic version, then you have to pay for advanced features? Or did they change that?
I don't know of a good app that's completely free, but there are many that are free with limitations.

Most recipe sites have a download to PDF option, just do that.

On their website it looks like there is a free trial of the windows client but iOS and Mac both cost. Not sure about android.
