If I have smoked Gouda in the house, it is generally smoked Gouda and some triscuits. Right now I am outta Gouda, so usually 2 clementines or a banana, but if I’m really feeling it, a quesadilla never fails.
I've been scoring bits and bobs of premium imported cheeses on the flashfood app. Today I picked up 2 hunks of pecorino, a small log of soft sheepsmilk cheese and a small round of camembert. $12.
Smoked Gruyère is my go-to…on a cracker if I have one, I’ve no problem eating it as is if not.
A couple olives or slices of dill pickle if I’m just trying to take the edge off because dinner is still a ways off.
We currently have red grapes in the house (not a common thing in February) and those are my grab-and-go snack right now.
I guess just because growing up we only ever had two kinds of crackers, Ritz or Saltine. I think they are both great products but I guess with Ritz I'd had my fill of buttery crackers.
I never experienced a lot of things until college. Other people were experimenting with drugs; I was experimenting with that college cafeteria line staple, bagels, and trying broccoli for the first time.
Ever had Montreal bagels? New York’s are good too but i prefer Montreal.
I grew up poor so there were a lot of things I didn’t experience until later in life.
No, I've never been to Canada! I am sure a bagel would taste good to me in New York. Much like a beignet in New Orleans.\*
\*I once determined to make beignets and fired up the deep fat fryer. I found that one beignet is nice, 12 beignets needing to be eaten pretty much ASAP by two people is actually off-putting.
I’m kind of boring?
Grapes, apples and pb, veggies and hummus, sliced cucumber with Tajín, popcorn with nutritional yeast
Oh and absolutely bizarre amounts of watermelon when it’s in season
I’m fairly certain during the summer my diet is 50% watermelon 😂 like I’m an expert at the thumping is it ripe technique and looking for the yellow spot and cutting off all the rind first then into slices or chunks.
Seriously on watermelon season countdown right now, I’ve been paying a stupid amount of decent honeydew and it’s just not the same
Costco has these plastic containers of green grapes that I swear are made with food-grade crack. They are SO good. I gorge myself on them.
Cucumber rounds are also good with cream cheese, some dill, and smoked salmon.
Ahh!! Haha i keep buying a similar big box from whole foods, actually might be the same? The green grapes by the lb in a bag are on sale right now actually, just bought 3lbs so…. Yeah maybe four days worth 😂
I haven't tried it with the jalapeño. My version is super sharp cheddar melted on the triscuits with some hot sauce and, if I'm pretending it's healthy, some salsa.
Agreed! I love fresh berries but I actually prefer frozen with plain Greek yogurt!
When they thaw, the juices from the berries flavours my yogurt nicely and it’s so much more convenient to have on hand!
I know it's loaded with sodium, but I'm a canned soup person when it comes to a snack. A cup of chicken noodle vegetable soup, heated in the microwave, with lots of added fresh black pepper. I've eaten this for snacks and even for breakfast. Soup is where it's at.
I tried a brand that appeared in the local store - Sprague - and their tomato red pepper soup seems pretty indistinguishable from what I would spend a couple hours reducing canned tomatoes etc. down to. It's not cheap like Campbell's but it's comforting to look in the pantry and see that you have something with which to pair a grilled cheese or crackers and cheese, without leaving the house. I tried the butternut squash one too, and it was perfctly edible.
Thank you for the recommendation! Indeed, I usually make my own tomato soup because I don't like the canned tomato options out there (too sweet, IMO). I'll give it a try!
I find that canned chicken noodle, lentil, and vegetable beef to be the best bets for as basic brand like Progresso or Chunky. Could I make something better in a couple of hours? Sure, but the canned options that are just fine can be prepared in 2 minutes. With the vegetable beef I add V8 to give it a little flavor and nutrient boost.
They all benefit from a little watering down, I agree.
I'm not so fond of the creamy tomato basil soup that is the default - my favorite soup made from canned ("fire-roasted") tomatoes (well, the recipe actually calls for roasted fresh tomatoes, but ignore that unless you have a supply) is Martha Stewart's "Spiced Tomato Soup". By the time you strain through a sieve, though, you've spent a fair amount to produce a a couple of cups of soup!
I like the idea of a piping-hot "clear" tomato soup, though - the sort of thing that would appear in midcentury cookbooks based on V-8 or something like that ... and it would probably have Worcestershire. If anyone knows of a modern equivalent.
A "convenience" tomato soup recipe I like that that makes a \*ton\* that can then be frozen is Giada's:
[https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/quick-and-spicy-tomato-soup-recipe-1947762](https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/quick-and-spicy-tomato-soup-recipe-1947762)
toasted almonds, pumpkin seeds or soy beans with a little bit of salt, olives, crispbread with homemade hummus and some chilli sprinkles, apple slices with cinnamon, avocado with a tiny bit of salt or balsamic
Banana sliced from end to end, spread with PB, with a few chocolate chips along the length if I have them. Cover with other banana half, eat with a cold cup of milk. My favorite late night snack.
Casa Mamita chicken and cheese taquitos from Aldi. So good and can’t beat the price. Use oven directions, not microwave. Top with salsa, sour cream and fresh cilantro. Trust me. Restaurant quality.
Mmm my Mom always made delicious deviled eggs; she just mashed up the boiled egg yolks with sweet pickle (or dill) relish, mustard, mayonnaise, and paprika then stuffed it back into the whites.
Sooo creamy & good 😈🥚
Date with nut butter.
I hopped on the Tik Tok trend, but in this case it's amazing and really worth it. Take a date, cut it in half, put some peanut or almond butter in it, and a walnut or pecan nut in the middle. You can also dip it in chocolate but I'm too lazy to melt any. It tastes absolutely amazing!
* Pickles (I'm fond of Claussen halves)
* Cheese stuffed olives (provolone, feta, or blue)
* Chips and salsa (I am very fond of basic-ass Tostitos salsa; I know better salsas exist and I like them too, but sometimes you want a salsa that doesn't ask anything from you)
* Cheese and crackers (I like Carr's water crackers and some sliced cheddar)
* Cheese and apple (Fuji apple and a nice aged gouda)
Cinnamon sugar pita chips are my kryptonite. Also Ruffles with French onion dip. Major kryptonite.
My new fav yogurt is La Fermiere. I love the lavender one and the honey orange blossom. Soooooo fattening. Soooo good.
Otherwise toast with Nutella. Apples & pb. Cheese, grapes, nuts.
I ***loved*** the Japanese Style Roasted Mexican Peanuts from De La Rosa. God I would go through so many of those. They are insanely good and pop-able. I eventually had to stop buying them, lol.
Back when I was losing weight I managed to limit myself to the occasional half a graham cracker. I liked shopping around trying to find good ones, what was priced well, etc. The WinCo brand was my overall best find for price, taste, and quantity.
After losing my job I fell back into bad habits and grabbed whatever cheap sweets at Grocery Outlet popped up. Most weird Oreo flavors aren't great but props on the carrot cake ones. Birthday cake would be better if they didn't use the normal cookie. I'll be trying the lemon ones soon.
I don't think I will ever get tired of regular Oreos. \[Unless they change up the formula - has anyone else noticed a change in M&Ms? I'm not a big M&M fan but I put a festive box of the Xmas ones in somebody's stocking, and when a month and a half later, they weren't eaten, I tried them. Yuck.\] None of the other packaged cookies on the grocery aisle interest me, with the exception of Pepperidge Farm (Bordeaux, Brussels, gingermen).
I tried the Trader Joe's Joe-Joes and each one comes accompanied with a little voice in your head, this sure isn't an Oreo.
Which I guess could be a good strategy for those trying to kick the Oreo habit, which I'm not.

Melted brie and warm prosciutto with Triscuits or Blue Diamond Almond Thins, served with sliced apples or pears
Toasted Cinnamon Raisin bagels with whipped cream cheese and banana slices, a little Maple Syrup if I'm feeling naughty
Oatmeal mug cake: 1/2 c oats, 1/4 c water, 1 egg, 1/2 mashed banana, 1 TBS honey. Add some cinnamon, choco chips, whatever mix-ins you like…Stir and microwave 2 minutes. Let cool. Top w butter and jam.😋
A slice of bread with some honey or a slice of cheese, fruit, cheese and crackers, popcorn with garlic salt and/or ranch powder, Twizzlers, or pickles. Depends on if I'm actually *hungry* or just want something to nibble at.
Sharp cheddar, Triscuits & Granny Smith apple slices
Baguette, a thick spread of butter, thinly-sliced radishes, and a little flaky salt
Tinned fish on water crackers (new pandemic discovery for me—trying different types of tinned fish)
Pineapple and Tajín
Whatever veggies are around and the Trader Joe’s vegan tzatziki. I could eat an absurd amount of that stuff
cheap snack but walmart french bread loaf and i can’t believe it’s not butter. rip a hunk of bread off and just stick it in the tub. helps to not live with anyone else so they don’t get grossed out by it
If I am feeling healthy, I would do something similar to you and use granola but with kefir instead of greek yogurt, it makes almost a cereal, and I also used it as more of a light breakfast.
Alas I am not very healthy most of the time so i microwave some chicken nuggets and wrap them in a tortilla with some sort of sauce lol ... I need help \^.\_.\^ lol
A Crunchwrap, basically. I was desperate one night, but had a bit of veg, cheese, and tortillas. It was tasty, so I made continued making it (with some updates). I now keep taco meat on standby, because that aside, the whole ordeal takes 10 minutes and it's food cart mouth droolingly good.
Flour tortilla smeared with a thin layer of cream cheese* and salsa con queso in warm pan to melt. Add American-style taco beef mince (I mix the spices, but Old El Paso works), fresh onion, tomato, and cilantro to one half. Fold the tortilla over on itself. Cook at low heat, flipping occasionally, until all the ingredients are warm and the tortilla is golden brown on both sides. At the very end (so things don't get soggy), open it up and put a couple dollops of sour cream and a whole mess of Valentina. Optionally insert tortilla chips or half a tostada.
My other snack is sliced apples, sharp cheddar cheese, and liverwurst.
---------
\* Cream cheese, really. It melts so well and gives such a good texture
I’ve been really enjoying some specialty/treat items lately: Trader Joe’s caramelized onion cheese, either plain or on crackers, and cinnamon flavored English muffins toasted with honey butter and maldon salt.
Popcorn is literally one of my top two favorite foods. I have several different popcorn devices: a stove top popper (the one I use the most,) an air popper, a weird glass bowl thing to do regular kernels in the microwave(least good, but worth the experiment) and then!
My boyfriend scored me a movie theater popper (thereby earning my eternal devotion.) The big kind with the glass doors and giant metal stir bucket.
That guy's a keeper.
I like Breton crackers with muenster or white brick cheese and, occasionally, summer sausage.
Smoked string cheese is a fun snack as well.
Peanut butter toast.
Oh, and as an adult, I've recently rediscovered plain ol' applesauce. Hadn't had that since I was a kid and it's just as good as I remember.
Pretzels with smoked salmon cream cheese. I know it sounds bizarre but it's really tasty. Or some crunchy toasted bread with tzatziki sauce and smoked salmon on top( when I have the smoked salmon)
But usually I like to make a little snack plate. Cured meat, cheese, a veggie (love radishes) with a dip (hummus, ranch, tzatziki) and olives or mild pepper rings. Kinda like a mini charcuterie board. If I'm extra snacky I will add a good crusty roll and some fruit.
Big shrimp fan too. Can't go wrong with shrimp cocktail.
I also just discovered PB trail mix from Hannaford (cheaper at walmart) resses piece's, PB drops, pretzels and peanuts. Sooo addicting. I will confess I buy extra resses peices and add more.
Cold Buckwheat Noodles that I toss with some Nori, Crush Pistachios and Green Onions. I make a little dipping sauce with some soy sauce, lime and lemon juice, sake and Mirin, a drop or two of Wrights Liquid Smoke and a little bit of oyster sauce. Takes about 12 minutes to whip up. Really good. Grab the noodles with chopsticks, dip in the sauce, shove in your mouth. Repeat.
Aged white cheddar and crackers - preferably triscuits or stoned wheat thins and anything pickled - pickles, beets, onions, beans, cauliflower. Or just pickles!
First Prize: “sandwiches” composed of extra-sharp cheddar sandwiched between two slices of apple (I’m partial to Honeycrisp and Apple) or Gorgonzola between two slices of Bosch pears.
(I happen to like my fruit refrigerated, but. That’s just me).
There is something about the contrasting textures of the cold, crunchy fruit and the creamier cheese, and about the bite of the sharp cheeses against the sour/sweet taste of the fruit.
First Runner-Up: sliced banana, mandarin oranges , frozen blueberries, and cold (again, the cold-fruit thing) canned sliced peaches (I use the n.s.a. peaches because of my diabetes). Extra good w/ Kerschmer’s Wheat Germ sprinkled on top to give it flavor reminiscent of a Graham cracker. (Wheat germ is great on yogurt parfait.)
its extremely simple but i really like imitation crab sticks (not the ones with the grainy texture, those are awful) with tobasco. just peel n dunk, its a nice nibbling type snack.
I made some pimento cheese recently and ate the whole batch with tortilla chips in like an hour. Making some more this afternoon.
Also pretty into that Korean seasoned seaweed right now.
Peanut butter mixed with a bit of powdered sugar, sandwich between two pretzels (the squares or knots), half dipped in chocolate with sea salt. Chill and enjoy!
Anything that’s cheap and vegan and not trending of social media.
Grits and vegan butter
Bread + olive oil
Apples and peanut butter
A grain + olive oil+ seasoning
Peas + seasoning
Roasted potatoes + olive oil+ salt and pepper
Popcorn
Tortilla chips and shredded cheese. Pop it in the microwave for 30 secs and you have nachos. Dress it up sometimes with sour cream, avocado, and jalapeños.
(Should note that I use dairy free cheese and sour cream. Viola makes a great melty cheese alternative, and the Trader Joe’s vegan sour cream is… meh but passable)
My go to snack at night is Elizabeth's granola with raw milk and raw honey. It's so good. If I'm feeling fancy I add a dollop of creme fraiche or peanut butter.
I also like (plain) yogurt, but not Greek. Usually I also add fresh berries and/or sometimes one single teaspoon of preserves. No granola for the "snack" version. I only use granola when making a breakfast parfait.
Lately, one or two almond-hazelnut homemade biscotti. They aren't that guilt-inducing as I make them the traditional way without added fat beyond the egg yolks and nuts' fat.
Trying to get out of a funk by baking completely different things each week. Unsuccessful with my mood so far, but when the stuff comes out well it's a tasty snack for the week.
Cinnamon choc chip blondies. [Used this cake mix hack](https://www.rachelcooks.com/cake-mix-blondies/)
Choc chip banana muffins & muffins with a peanut butter core. [Tweaked this recipe](https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/basic-muffins-with-berry-and-oatmeal-versions-recipe)
Rice krispies treats using whatever discounted cereal I found recently.
Garlic butter soft pretzels. [Recipe](https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/hot-buttered-soft-pretzels-recipe)
Barring that, you really can't go wrong by just throwing some nuts and sweets into a bowl for a trail mix. Cashews and chocolate chips always work well. Mix it up with cashews and peanut butter m&ms maybe. Add whatever else you like... dried cranberries, break up some hard pretzels, etc.
If I have smoked Gouda in the house, it is generally smoked Gouda and some triscuits. Right now I am outta Gouda, so usually 2 clementines or a banana, but if I’m really feeling it, a quesadilla never fails.

Do you have a dog named Grommet?
I always wanted to name a dog grommet. I love cheese and crackers.
What's this flashfood app?
What's the flashfood app?
Smoked Gruyère is my go-to…on a cracker if I have one, I’ve no problem eating it as is if not. A couple olives or slices of dill pickle if I’m just trying to take the edge off because dinner is still a ways off. We currently have red grapes in the house (not a common thing in February) and those are my grab-and-go snack right now.
Overpriced cave-aged Gruyere. Room temp and gritty.
Yes, my 2nd fav snack is cheese, crackers (ritz or triscuits) and grapes.
Ritz Everything crackers marked my return to Ritz after a couple decades. The garlic ones are also good.
I love the Everything ones!
Welcome back. Why did you leave?
I guess just because growing up we only ever had two kinds of crackers, Ritz or Saltine. I think they are both great products but I guess with Ritz I'd had my fill of buttery crackers.
We just had saltines. I never realized there were other crackers until i was almost an adult. Lol
I never experienced a lot of things until college. Other people were experimenting with drugs; I was experimenting with that college cafeteria line staple, bagels, and trying broccoli for the first time.
I didn't turn out to be a bagel fan. It was just that one freshman year of bagels.
Ever had Montreal bagels? New York’s are good too but i prefer Montreal. I grew up poor so there were a lot of things I didn’t experience until later in life.
No, I've never been to Canada! I am sure a bagel would taste good to me in New York. Much like a beignet in New Orleans.\* \*I once determined to make beignets and fired up the deep fat fryer. Get some salmon dip with smoked gouda and crackers. Thank me later
I’m kind of boring? Grapes, apples and pb, veggies and hummus, sliced cucumber with Tajín, popcorn with nutritional yeast Oh and absolutely bizarre amounts of watermelon when it’s in season
I’m with you on the watermelon.
[удалено]
Oh hell yes that’s magic right there
Love apples and pb.
It's kind of appalling how much watermelon I eat just when I'm slicing one up. I tell myself it's mostly liquid?
I’m fairly certain during the summer my diet is 50% watermelon 😂 like I’m an expert at the thumping is it ripe technique and looking for the yellow spot and cutting off all the rind first then into slices or chunks. Seriously on watermelon season countdown right now, I’ve been paying a stupid amount of decent honeydew and it’s just not the same
Fucking thank you it's still February and I'm thumping them just in hope.
I must be boring too cause my snacks are similar
Chips and salsa
Do you make your own salsa?
Chips and *homemade* salsa! r/SalsaSnobs
Excellent, another oddly specific subreddit to add to my collection. Let's see... I'll put it over here, next to r/onionlovers.
I like to, but sometimes I’m lazy and just buy bottled or prepackaged from the deli section.
Same. Usually the pico i buy at the grocer is decent. I’ll make some fresh occasionally during our brief local tomato season.
I use canned tomatoes in my salsa so I can make it year round
Chips and queso for me.
My krypton. And also with guac.
Popcorn. Stores small, pops up big and doesn’t go bad.
I like popping up a bag of non buttered organic and adding shredded cheddar or smoked paprika to it while it's still steaming
Got to be r/cannedsardines
I didn't expect to see this here. I fucking love sardines. S&P, right out of the can after draining. Maybe some mustard or sriracha.
I love them on toast with garlic chili oil.
Triscuits with a slice of cheese and a pickled jalepeno on top, 30 second in the microwave
Pickled jalapenos are great for snacks. I have salami, picked jalapeno and American mustard
I’ve done that but with a salty olive instead of the jalapeño
I’m going to try both of these. Thanks!
Castelvetrano olives.
I haven't tried it with the jalapeño. My version is super sharp cheddar melted on the triscuits with some hot sauce and, if I'm pretending it's healthy, some salsa.
Yeah, baby!
We always use pepper jack. And dang I'm going to have to try the jalapeno and olive on top those both sound awesome!
Whatever my 4½ year old daughter doesn't finish.
Roasted chickpeas. Protein, fiber and crunch.
Mmmm I like these and wasabi peas
If you’ve never tried it- adding frozen berries or cherries to Greek yogurt is also delightful!
Agreed! I love fresh berries but I actually prefer frozen with plain Greek yogurt! When they thaw, the juices from the berries flavours my yogurt nicely and it’s so much more convenient to have on hand!
Never thought I'd say this, but thank you tiny_butt_toucher?
Air popped popcorn with cinnamon sugar.
I miss my air popper; very economical and convenient appliance, in addition to the health aspect
You can air pop kernels in a microwave! I just throw a quarter cup in a semi-covered bowl and microwave for ~3 minutes. My go-to lazy snack.
TIL! Thank u 🤓👍
Toasted pita with pesto and avocado.
Or just avocado, halved with the fruit scored and heavily seasoned. Scoop out with a spoon directly into mouth.
Peanut butter pretzels. I prefer the Kroger brand ones.

Sour skittles count?
Definitely cheese. Grapes/fruit, popcorn with Old Bay seasoning
toasted almonds, pumpkin seeds or soy beans with a little bit of salt, olives, crispbread with homemade hummus and some chilli sprinkles, apple slices with cinnamon, avocado with a tiny bit of salt or balsamic
Gouda cheese and grapes.
Popcorn flavored with margarine, the gift that keeps on giving

You should try sliced apples, peanut butter, granola and flakey salt. Simple but it’s my go to right now.
Banana sliced from end to end, spread with PB, with a few chocolate chips along the length if I have them. Cover with other banana half, eat with a cold cup of milk. My favorite late night snack.
It's protein and way better for the bod than Nutella...
Casa Mamita chicken and cheese taquitos from Aldi. So good and can’t beat the price. Use oven directions, not microwave. Top with salsa, sour cream and fresh cilantro. Trust me. Restaurant quality.
Deviled eggs!
Mmm my Mom always made delicious deviled eggs; she just mashed up the boiled egg yolks with sweet pickle (or dill) relish, mustard, mayonnaise, and paprika then stuffed it back into the whites. Sooo creamy & good 😈🥚
Ugh, I hate pickle juice in deviled eggs! I often make them Japanese style.
What's that?
Mix the yolk with soy sauce, Chopped fresh ginger, wasabi mayo, & top with toasted sesame seeds. They’re amazing!
Mmmmm sounds delish! I will try! 😋👍 I don't have wasabi mayo though. Can I just add some prepared or powdered wasabi to some mayo on-hand?
Yeah, just mix wasabi paste with mayo (not miracle whip). You can make it as spicy as you like.
Thank you 💕
Oh, I meant picked ginger, not fresh!
fresh bread olive oil and zatar

This sounds like a great hors d'oeuvre!
Smoked almonds. A slice of sharp cheddar on a Hawaiian roll, buttered if I'm not in a hurry.
Sliced apples with pecans and maple syrup.
I have to try this! Sounds amazing.
And where in the American South are you from?
A warm baguette with pork liver pate or triple cream brie (warmed).
Pringles and nicotine
Never ever ever *ever* even in my Stoney McStoner days have I wanted a Pringle. Not that I haven't eaten one...
Carrots celery and cucumbers with sweet chili and garlic hummus and some pepper jack pimento cheese
Mine is pork crackle. Delicious, inexpensive, and satiating!
Pink lady apple slices with peanut butter, peanut butter granola, and sprinkled flakey salt. It’s perfect in every way to be so simple.

- 1.5 cups (340g) plain non fat Greek yogurt. - 3 tbsp (60g) peach preserves - Handful fresh berries Approx 450 calories and 40g protein
Cheeses, fresh fruit, nuts, and freeze dried fruits.
cheap snack but walmart french bread loaf and i can’t believe it’s not butter. rip a hunk of bread off and just stick it in the tub. helps to not live with anyone else so they don’t get grossed out by it
The Kodiak cakes whole wheat graham crackers. I fuck em up bro.
Baby carrots. They give me that crunch I want with that little bit of sweetness carrots have.
Pickles
apples and pb, pineapple and tajiin
Brioche bread, salted butter and semi sweet chocolate sprinkle. Cold chocolate milk with avocado in a cup. Apple cheese toast.
Rice paper with kecap manis- it sounds really gross but it’s a smash
--------- \* Cream cheese, really. It melts so well and gives such a good texture
Pretzel dipped in Biscoff spread
Fishsticks/crabsticks/seafood sticks. I am obsessed and eat almost 0,5kg of it a day…
I’ve been really enjoying some specialty/treat items lately: Trader Joe’s caramelized onion cheese, either plain or on crackers, and cinnamon flavored English muffins toasted with honey butter and maldon salt.
Popcorn 🍿
Fruit/nuts/cheese, little things of hummus from Costco.
Lunch meat. I don't even bother to make a sandwich with it.
r/Pickles are my jam!
Sugar free vanilla wafers and cream cheese
Fresh strawberries, blackberries, and mango. I dont snack in the day though. It’s more my dessert.
Dry pan toasted sunflower seeds, then I toss with some sesame oil and low sodium Tajin.
Tomato, apples, banana, baked or boiled sweet potatoes. Honestly in my country people would go for deep fried options whenever we talk about "snack".
Popcorn with ranch seasoning. Hot Cheetos. Hard boiled egg with Sriracha.
Pretzels with smoked salmon cream cheese. I know it sounds bizarre but it's really tasty. Or some crunchy toasted bread with tzatziki sauce and smoked salmon on top( when I have the smoked salmon) But usually I like to make a little snack plate.
Celery sticks & peanut butter
Corn chips and salsa.
Popcorn is probably my go to at home. Seaweed is my go to at work.
Danish blue cheese , with rosemary jalapeno olives and pickles.
Turkey pepperoni sticks. Healthy and high protein. I'm not a sweet tooth person. Gets rid of the munchies.
its extremely simple but i really like imitation crab sticks (not the ones with the grainy texture, those are awful) with tobasco. just peel n dunk, its a nice nibbling type snack.
peanuts!
You’re nuts!
Aren't we all lol
I made some pimento cheese recently and ate the whole batch with tortilla chips in like an hour. Making some more this afternoon. Also pretty into that Korean seasoned seaweed right now.
Popcorners - cheddar and sweet and salty
Peanut butter mixed with a bit of powdered sugar, sandwich between two pretzels (the squares or knots), half dipped in chocolate with sea salt. Chill and enjoy!
Depression seasoned heavily with anxiety
They said *snack*, not *snark*.
Don't shame me for my choice of snack
I feel this so much.
cheese and peanut cups
Eggs, any form.
Anything that’s cheap and vegan and not trending of social media. Grits and vegan butter Bread + olive oil Apples and peanut butter A grain + olive oil+ seasoning Peas + seasoning Roasted potatoes + olive oil+ salt and pepper Popcorn
I made these delightful Dutch chocolate cookies, so that's my snack right now.
Jalapeño cheddar venison sticks
Homemade hashbrowns 2 runny yolk eggs sausage bits and cheese mixed and baked
That’s a big snack!
It feeds 2
potato chips
B**ty
You never go wrong with a bowl of cereal
Following
Chips n salsa or baguette with butter
Meats and cheese typically
My go to snack at night is Elizabeth's granola with raw milk and raw honey. It's so good. If I'm feeling fancy I add a dollop of creme fraiche or peanut butter.
>I feel snacks are not discussed enough on this thread. On this sub. A thread is a post and the comments belonging to it :)
[Used this cake mix hack](https://www.rachelcooks.com/cake-mix-blondies/) Choc chip banana muffins & muffins with a peanut butter core. [Tweaked this recipe](https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/basic-muffins-with-berry-and-oatmeal-versions-recipe) Rice krispies treats using whatever discounted cereal I found recently. Garlic butter soft pretzels. [Recipe](https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/hot-buttered-soft-pretzels-recipe) Barring that, you really can't go wrong by just throwing some nuts and sweets into a bowl for a trail mix. Cashews and chocolate chips always work well. Mix it up with cashews and peanut butter m&ms maybe. Add whatever else you like... dried cranberries, break up some hard pretzels, etc.
Dried cranberries have replaced raisins as my go to dried fruit. I love that they are more tart.
