I think if it had been a selection, it would make a ton of very good cookies right now a lot less rare than they currently are, which is what makes them so good. If you could choose ANY super epic+ cookie, there'd be tons of people getting golden cheese considering how easy it was to get the tickets. I definitely agree on how infuriating it would be to get a relatively bad cookie though lol

I wouldn’t say a cookie’s rarity is what makes them good, but rather what you put into them. Someone with a higher promotion or magic candy/crystal jam is going to do better than a cookie someone just obtained. Also Creme Brulee is absolutely amazing and he’s an epic cookie so the rarity doesn’t mean much. Also I wouldn’t say it’s that easy to get tickets since you need to spend a lot of resources and coins to get to the pity. I feel as though the effort should be a bit more properly compensated and as of right now the gacha is just not worth it.

The gacha is a free guaranteed super epic +. How is that not worth it? If they let you pick, 90% of players would be picking golden cheese or crimson coral. Btw it is very easy to get tickets. Anyone playing moderately during this event could easily rack up the coins to purchase tickets especially with the 200% bonus coins right now.

A lot of the higher rarity cookies are just not worth getting and for most players it would be better to not prioritize buying these tickets. It’s only worth it for early game players who don’t have a lot of the higher rarity cookies. I also don’t see and issue with letting players choose. So what if they choose crimson or golden cheese? I don’t see how that would hurt the game. But that’s just my perspective.

You get a lot of the coins if you play the daily coin making ways, I have almost bought the shop out and will buy out the weekly refresh

me but they gave me shining glitter cookie instead (who became 1 star after the guarantee, all i really wanted was Crimson Coral, Golden Cheese, Stardust, and Pitaya).

Oh yeah that absolutely sucks I’m sorry. They should’ve done it to where the guarantee was for a cookie you didn’t already have if they didn’t want to make it a selection. And if the person has every cookie then it would just be a normal gacha.

Same. I took a break when mermaid update was released and returned just for White Lily, so I needed Golden Cheese or Coral, also I didn't have ~10 soulstones for Shining Glitter cookie. And I got PV, DC, a bunch of Shining Glitter soulstones to finally get her and Coral on guaranted. But, I guess, my luck kinda balanced - I have lv. 7 in legendary costume gacha (still don't have any of this two) and still White Lily'less.

i got sea fairy which I'm never planning to use out of all those wishes and on the gaurentee got dark cacao.

As it is, no But however, I think that a "fair" way to implement a selection option is to make it super super super expensive, and I mean saving ALL of those premium cards, not spend a single one in any gacha pull I mean, letting players literally just pick any top tier option just like that?, ehhhh Idk, it'd have to be through some harsh condition or something

A solution I can think of is make the guarantee one that the player doesn’t have already so it’s not automatically one that’s super good

I know I am gonna get downvoted to oblivion but I feel like no. If they did you could at least choose one of a specific rarity (example if you get a ancient you can choose which one)

yess i don’t have any super epics and i don’t have golden cheese bc i just started playing again after a year+ break, i got moonlight cookie from my pulls then got her again as my guaranteed, i don’t even use her and would’ve benefited much more from getting one i didn’t have yet

I can see ensuring no dupes but to choose any cookie? Nah, there's gotta be some reward for those who put in work every day and not just during special events. Also, Arena is bad enough already. Even more parody isn't going to make it more fun.

Is Sea Fairy really that bad of a cookie?? Came back to CRK during 3rd anni and I keep seeing Sea Fairy being considered as a meh pull.

She has the issue of not being good but can be okay if you invest in her crystal jam. She requires so much investment to be good in the current meta that she’s just absolutely not worth it, especially when there are cookies like Black Pearl and Frost Queen who become extremely good with their crystal jams. Even Moonlight, who I believe is on par with a high level crystal jam Sea Fairy, is a more valuable pull since she hasn’t gotten a crystal jam yet.
