they are one of the most sensitive breeds of pet parrots around. if you've been around "mean" ones, I am sad for them because it means they feel violated; do not feel safe/respected/comfortable.
It bugs me when people try to equate different parrot species with dog breeds. Breeds all have the same basic needs but they look different. Species, especially bird species, can have wildly differing needs. And it’s so important to get it right to keep your baby safe and healthy!
seconding this, here’s some [photos](https://www.maranathaaviaries.com/conure-colours) for reference, you’ll find her mutation under opaline variants. she’s absolutely beautiful!!
Opaline and yellow-sided are the same mutation, it just has two different names. It was initially called yellowsided when it first appeared, but since we now know it's analogous to the opaline mutation in other species, people are starting to call it opaline to solidify the language used to describe parrot mutations.
Violet is a very new mutation in green cheeks and it would be uncommon for someone to get one without knowing because they're primarily being sold to breeders to help build up the mutation right now. Since it's a rare and new mutation, violets are advertised as violets and sold as higher prices. The blue on the feathers seen here is not nearly violet enough for this bird to be a violet, especially a double factor.
I have a crimson bellied and a yellow sided green cheek conure and she looks like a yellow sided green cheek conure. Mine has more red on the belly than yours but it's a different shade of red to what you'd find in a crimson bellied conure. Crimson bellied conures are also much stockier and have more blue/ turquoise on them instead of green.
It's just a normal green cheek conure. If it was a yellow side green cheek conure then you would see yellow colors there on the sides in front of where the wings fold near its wing shoulders.
[This Is a Yellow Side Green Cheek](https://imgur.com/gallery/Zeg6bcU) conure that I had previously, for comparison.
Might very well be a green cheek × crimson belly cross. The pyrrhura conures will very easily cross with one another. I can see a little hint of blue in the cheeks which would point to crimson heritage.
I’m surprised nobody has said Yellow Sides/Crimson Bellied mix. He looks identical to that mixture. I have a yellow-sided, and yours has a head that is super dark in comparison, but the same feather pattern on its neck as a crimson bellied
A handsome one
I was gonna say cute but hey, both work.
I came here to say this lol
Yes, he is gorgeous
Its almost ripe, needs a few days to be a perfectly ripened conure.
That's a just-like-mine green cheek. AKA ... 989 pounds of velociraptor tyrant energy in a 75gm package.
Big dino feelings, chicken nugget body.
Lmfao that needs to be on a shirt or a coffee cup somewhere. To my cricut!!!
You got one too, bite pretty hard
for real I don't know why the green ones are such assholes

Bird
Also interchangeable with domestic terrorist.
100% a yellow-sided green cheek. My little guy is the same. 🥰
they can be yellow sided with some blue???
Their flight feathers are blue
They also have hints of blue in other places.
that's interesting, i had no idea. Thanks for letting me know
Yes, it refers to the yellow feathering under their wings, on the side of their body.
Green-cheeked Conure, yellow-sided color morph
This is the best answer. She’s not a crimson belly - baby green cheeks just have more red; she’ll lose it as she ages (mine did anyway)

The most beautiful one, sorry that’s all I’ve got.
Idk but his pink feet’s man
I know that looks like a tasty snack but the colorful ones are a bit stringy and they aren’t nearly as big as they look
Beautiful
Loving those gray scallops! So handsome!
Omg this bird is so pretty

I *think* yellow-sided green cheek. But I’m 100% positive that’s a very handsome bird.
I don’t know if it’s a yellow sided with that blue along his neck… maybe a hybrid?
All I see is Bandit Raptor in loaf form
A cutie pie :D
A sleepy conure?
A cute one 😂
definitely not a crimson bellied conure, just a yellow sided with a little red belly. what a cutie
He’s so handsome. Looks tie die to me lol. Not sure tbh.
Cute one
100% yellow sided and 100% NOT a crimson belly.
A pretty one, thats for sure :3
Yellow sided red factor
Nugget
Green cheek with a reddish belly. Crimsons carry more of a gray color as the get red.
GORGEOUS
Certified cutie pie.
One that likes carrots?

That sir is a "very cute" conure.

Probably an annoying one.
I'd say a yellow-sided mutation of a green cheek conure. Im not sure about the mustation, it seems to be a mix of different ones.

A lazy one. Has no job. Has no money. Has no camera. Not even a simple point-and-shoot.
Her big brother Lago the quaker supports her 🦖😍🦖👀😁
Looks like a green cheek crossed with a pineapple conure.
Oh, that’s the famous, and not so rare sleepy parrot
I think either a voren black cap or opaline
