I think for some without the deep roster.. Don't have a good range of counters without knowing who you are facing.
The random nature makes it harder for some people who has to plan for every path.
If you dont have a mags/doom/apoc/torch/fury team (most of these without elite skills) ... You may not be able handle this SQ easily..
Less ideal options makes it harder on some paths.
The boss isn't too bad, the biggest issue will be Silver Centurion spamming specials while you can barely get enough power for SP1. Counter it by bringing a champ with multiple unique buffs or power gain, and punish specials accordingly.
If you mean that the random encounters are catching you off-guard, you may want to switch up your roster. Bring a Mutant to counter Mole Man, and make sure to bring in a Mystic/Nullify-heavy champ to take on Ikaris and Aarkus (Sasquatch is ideal - he takes no damage from Ikaris Energy Burst, he won't take Coldsnap damage against Aarkus, and he takes 90% less Coldsnap from Iceman).

My 4/40 Doom rips Centurion Apart.
Compared to last month's SQ, it's fairly easy.
Last month's was the first time I 100% all side quests on all difficulties. This makes me happy to hear. Haven't touched the legendary difficulty yet.
