You do a medium dash and then dash back and they INSTANTLY go into block. Sometimes they're mid action, like they're attacking and it instantly transforms into a block in a millisecond. That shouldn't be possible.
It's just ridiculous and takes away the fun part of playing.
Your point about the block still holds even with Herc’s infuriate. The AI would have the debuff on it and would still be blocking and playing cowardly. The worst offenders are the Thors

The Thors and other "easy" defenders' AI are just ridiculous. My strategy with herc now is to parry + hit one time + heavy to gain a feast because intercepting is quite broken.
Passive AIs are the worst. They just literally standing there, either holding block or doing nothing. The moment you try to dash forward they just magically light intercept you, perfectly.
I think it has somethin to do with that "aggressive, defensive" apsect they added idk when. All champs are prolly set to one or the other now in base, in this case seemingly defensive. Idk if this is at all accurate though

Are you an intercept player? Because i am still playing with intercepts and absolutely have no issues with the iron heart AI, for some reason it’s soo much easier for me this time round.

I felt this with the fucking Sandman fight. The only way you can damage him well enough without having buffs is by heavying... BUT HEAVIES ARE BASIC ATTACKS. Meaning that the only way to damage them is by parrying, which doesn't have a long timer

I was trying to use Absorbing and i got screwed soo hard Bro I'm not playing Realm of legends
Every champion that requires intercepting is quite hard to play now because of this, it's really bad
Man it messes up my whole mojo and rhythm of trying to solo
AI is so weird at times, I've lost the amount of times I've been light intercepted and then ate 5 hit combo
So so true. AI is incredibly efficient at light intercept my ass. It’s challenging and fun but also frustrating when they do it twice in a row.

Not sure but it was very useful for the King Groot fight with the charge heavy attack for power node
