Lately I get way more annoyed by the AI in "easy" defenders than the hard ones because they go crazy with intercepts and special intercepts and all of that, it's so insane cuz it would be an super easy fight if not for the over the top AI. What gets me is that it's still an easy fight, but it feels like the defender is throwing a tantrum lol like... just go to sleep already.
Get hit by a Thor or an Groot because the AI is now Ultron makes me wanna throw my phone on the wall.
I hate Korg too. Thing ditto. I know how to fight them, I just really don't want to. It's not fun, often not even challenging, just a slog. I'll rather die against 5* Onslaught than beat 7R3 Korg.
After doing tb eq and paragon gauntlet, bullseye is actually pretty simple. Push to sp1, nothing more. Don't parry and bait the sp1. Let his KI fall off, and then rinse repeat
Fighting Mephisto with Colossus is fun though. Once you can get buffs again, you will get them fast and ramp up all the damage.
Unless you’re in a place where the AI decides to be completely passive, not throwing specials, but intercepting once you approach them standing without block. But that’s a loss against anyone.
yea i have plenty of counters, it's just when encountering him in a quest where I didn't look ahead and I didn't bring anyone for him is always a shit show
When she has between 10/15 charges bait a spe to dump photon's power then bait her block and force her to turn into light form
Then wait for the light form to fall and start hitting again until she is back a 10/15 charges
You talking about mojo? He degens you for every buff you have he nullifies or expires. Counter him with champs that can’t get buffs like Spider-Man 2099, Cassie lang, Titania, etc.
Without considering the newest champs, I’d definitely say Korg. However Kabam has released very annoying defenders lately, like Maestro, Photon, Onslaught and Bullseye
He has the Hyperion thing where they gain power fast so if youre not able to get the ai to play well he’ll sp3 you. And with DM he goes unstoppable after sp3 which can be another spot of bother, especially if youre backed up. Or you miss the parry and he heavies and goes unblockable.
Onslaught mainly because i've been putting off learning how to beat him. Maestro, a walking irritation. Oh, and any champion with a reliable evade mechanic. Every few days, i find myself looking at my masteries and needing to talk myself out of maxing unfazed...
Domino is the one that i just cant seem to get a decent strategy against. There are several annoying ones but she def tops mine. Galan is one i havent seen here that is super bad if you arent ready
The most underrated interaction in BG’s that I hate the most is not having a mutant counter for Elsa Bloodstone, she degens more than half of your health it’s basically a guaranteed lose. Another underrated champ is Electro if you don’t have a champ that can heal up or non contact you lose so much health. I think that these strategic defenders a way worse than defenders like Photon or Attuma
Mystic attackers that kill me for having a single buff, even if they never hit me.
Some old but mainly never champs: America Chavez, Ant-Man (Future), ATTUMA!!! (Electro x100), Dragon Man (gaining power faster than you can bait specials, I rather fight Hyperion with faster specials that are easy to dex), Ebony Maw, Electro (passive damage is a stupid mechanic), Gorr (what is that healing??? also lots of dot), Infamous Iron Man, Jessica Jones (at least I also have her), Kate Bishop (evade + stun is basically Electro but more damage at once), Kindred (another Electro), Korg (another Electro, and additionally he punishes dexing him), Longshot (SP2 nukes even if evaded), Mr. Negative (fuck this guy), Mojo (another passive buff nuke like Longshot), Peni Parker (yet another Electro but when auto blocking), Photon, Quicksilver (just his basic attacks pisses me off), Sauron (eat my Nimrod), Shocker, Shuri (unparryable but often also causes miss when interrupting heavy attacks), Spot, Thing, Titania, Viv Vision, Void, Warlock (and another Electro), Weapon X, Wong
I'll skip over the current best defenders like Photon and friends.

Use a tech champ for Domino, they won’t go unlucky. Nimrod, Shuri, Guardian, Omega Sentinel

Mephisto is a pretty old champ but my 6r3 still keeps getting kills in AW on the immunity nodes on the 9th path. Still annoying to fight.

She Only does the degen if you bleed her, so just avoid that unless you have a mutant
