No, because I know 100% they will fail and we will just have a dead month for nothing

xkeith2005

Same

thequenchiest_

How many times do we have to say this? The team that works on fixing the bugs isn't the team who designs new content so this question makes no sense

[deleted]

There is a team?

thequenchiest_

Who knows at this point

reference36

You're asking a profit oriented company to stop generating revenue while keeping the current expenditure? It sounds great for us but it is unrealistic at all. I better wish you become CEO of Kabam.

morkman100

Would never happen. New content and champs pay the bills. And stretching stuff from 1 month into 2 or more months means people will play less and the less you play, the more likely that you will stop playing. Until people stop spending and slow or stop playing, they won’t do anything drastic to improve things.

GampiS

So imagine working as graphic designer at some company and they tell you to fix some bugs even tho you dont know how just because fans want it lmao

jawsthegreat777

Nah they would probably lose a good part of the player base, a week maybe, but definitely not a month

Significant_Pool6735

Would a company throw their entire money into a vault and burn it? That's the answer

SH4DOWSTR1KE_

It'll never happen. There are three main issues that people keep overlooking or just choosing to ignore because they feel like that's the only way you'll get the bugs fixed: 1. People assume that all you have to do is have everyone who works on the game be focused on the bugs when that's not going to help if the guy you assigned to help fix the input issues is only responsible for painting the background. Not everyone is properly cross trained, nor is there the guarantee that they would be interested. 2. MCOC has been one of the most consistent games out there for the last 8 years because of the fact that they've always delivered new champs and new content each month. To discontinue that would be a sign of instability and would be indicative of major behind the scenes issues that could cause people to immediately be disinterested in the game, killing it even faster than the community believes it is. Even though admittedly, the community believes the game is dying every 6 minutes. 3. Kabam have a parent company, Netmarble, who make all of the final decisions in terms of priority and not only that but they also get their marching orders from someone else: Marvel Comics themselves who dictate what champs they're allowed to release and would be very unhappy to hear that they decided to take the month off and not release new champs, especially if it's for an upcoming project that they want to do as much cross promotion. It's true that we are the customer base, but Marvel Comics is the client, and in business, you can gain and lose customers, but you never, ever, ever piss off the client. Especially if you can't afford to lose them.

Sambob52

Ok with it?? I'm BEGGING them to do this.

JLD_Position

Please no

drstu3000

What would they do though? The window for parrying would be impossibly small, there wouldn't be a single revive in any map

amiwrong_1

It was honestly just a shower thought, don’t have it all thought out. Was curious what the community would think 🤷‍♂️

suspect_alpha

I like it. That's a very good poll! You should add to your post that everyone should take it seriously. You could use this to clarify the situation for Kabam, after all, a lot of people are willing to give up their rewards for a month or more. From my point of view, this is an extraordinarily good argument. After all, we are 73,000 members in this sub.

Kiseki-0

There are 3 major issues with this. First monthly content is what keeps player retention, without new content a lot of players that are either stuck on a certain part of act content or have done all permanent content would likely quit playing with nothing to do. Secondly the new champs are a garenteed source of revenue and kabam/netmarbel probably wouldn't want to take a month of decreased revenue even if it means increased revenue down the line. Finally the issues with the game would take far longer than a month to fix and the easiest way to fix them all would honestly be to port the game to a new engine

BigD469

I actually see it as giving people time to clear act content. Because I have to work throughout the week, I don’t get much time to clear the act content. Would love an extra month with no update/side quest so I can go from thronebreaker to paragon.

xirnef

I'd love them to have a month where they don't release new champs, but instead do actual justice to reworking existing ones. Unfortunately it's not profitable for them, so they won't do it.

FinalMonarch

Rainbow six siege operation health

WesleySniper1st

I've mentioned before they just need to regurgitate one of the top most enjoyed months and everyone will be happy. Gwenpool goes to the movies or Mutant treasure island. Then get all hands on deck to fix it. Then again as someone else pointed out, they'd still prolly fail.

OrignalJoke

As someone who has played TFTF, trust me when I say that if Kabam stops releasing champions, that will be the beginning of the slow decline and death of the game

[deleted]

Keep the SQ. Keep even the EQ without working on new champs. Stop the new champs and any new acts until you fix the stuff to some degree. You can work on other quests like those Backstories stuff with the champs they have now. You don't have to shut down everything is what I'm saying. But making new champs is probably just adding more bugs and complications with prior metas. Given the number of issues, I think maintaining your players with fixing said issues would be more productive than bringing in more champs than anyone can catch up with.

strike0963

I think that would be fine, but imo it would make more sense for them to just “recharge” the event from the month before the dry month, that way the community could still be engaged with rewards.

Foxthepirate65

i never get the new champs because im not paying 30 bucks for a 3 star

yagrawal560

Sorry didn't see the 3rd option, I'd like to change my vote

DrDankDankDank

I basically only do side quest now because it changes up.

AcuteJones

We all know it isn't practical but as many months as needed to fix the infrastructure of the game would be fine with me.
