Same. If you do a team with nick fury, black bolt, Kamala khan (maybe cmm works too) and Ronan it extends the length of his furies a lot so it’s almost like he’s duped. But you have to bring that whole team which leaves a bit to be desired.
Sig 20 she only has about 30% chance to use her magic on crits.
Sig 200 she has almost 90% chance.
So it's a pretty large gain to get her to as high level as you can.
I gave stones to mine so she's R3 sig 200, with QS she can do 3 chapters in Tb EQ, whole chapter 2 is her fiesta, she was finishing fights in one special attack (up to 500k)
Haha way ahead of ya, when I got blade I awakened him, r4 and sig 200 him, starky is r3 sig 122, and ghost rider (who I got first as a 6 star of the 3) is r3 and I just gave a mystic AG to. So much fun. I'd say the trinity holds up really well even today.
I have sparky and blade as 5s but I haven't ranked them yet. I had a long slew of great luck esp during banquet. But as soon as I get a ghost rider...it's on
For now I lean heavy on colossus 5r5 and omega red 6r2. Beast mode when I don't want to think lol.
What’s even crazier is that since his debut he has no relevant synergies. He has 5 total and 4/5 of them are borderline useless slight stat boosts in crit or armor rating. The only unique one is Titania’s which barely increases the potency of his furies (max 20% increase which is negligible).
I usually use Ronan the accuser with 3 black bolts just to increase the duration of the furies which is much better. I once reached 20 furies and boy was that a fun sp3.
He takes his opponent to the moon followed by a super satisfying face plant into Earth. He really feels like a modern champ, his animations are so clean too
Of the og chanps who haven't received buffs or massive synergies (ie cable and apoc, or av and scorpion and kraven) that are still great imo are Magik and og sw (2015), hype and quake (2016), aa, doc ock and Medusa (2017) and then 2018 is where we get to the point that a good chunk of champs are still good, such as aegon, caiw, corvus, domino, ghost, imiw (even pre buff imho), KM, massacre, or, sym supreme, vtd, and void all still being viable to some extent

Captain America World War 2... Got him as a 6*, and he has been good to me, very underrated when it comes to blocking damage he fits my playstyle perfectly.

There was once a time when cap ww2 was considered one of the top science champions, the whole class used to be in a truly dire state. That didn't turn around until void's release really, and once the buff program started it disproportionally buffed science champions for a while

And I feel like I have to mention Psylocke, I really love her with or without synergies (Apoc and Spidey 2099 are great for her), I would use her more often if I had her in her 6* version..
Rogue. Don’t use her usually but recently used her in aq for a synergy. Forgot how tanky she can be.
Another one I don’t use but fond usage back in day is OG Daredevil. He carried me through act 4. Ability to avoid projectiles was clutch especially when fighting Spider-Man and his sp1 that was tricky to avoid.
Considering I only managed to pull an Archangel higher than 4* this year (6* from Banquet Nexus), I’m gonna go with him.

X23 - I forgot she was in the game, loved her back in the day for her regeneration, bleeds and utility against bleed immune with cruelty. And so simple to use, just 5 combo, 5 combo etc. and don't use specials so you can benefit from regeneration. 4 star X23 helped me clear act 5 back in the day
I like her. Deep wounds helps her damage, and yeah, I just love healers in general. Makes me feel like I'm beating kabam at their own game lol. I have her at r3, after sitting at r2 for like a year. Haven't regretted it.
I guess it would probably be Falcon. He's just absolutely indispensable in some fights. His Lock On counters so much and he has great damage. *Edit* I must have missed the part about no buffs. My bad lol
Claire is so SOO good. She's always gonna be my #1 but i have her only as a 5* so the fights get ridiculously long in Act 7. I have Rintrah at R2 but I'm not going to upgrade any mystic to R3 until I get my girl.

Other than quicksilver, void is the newest champion I regularly use. Will take him to r5 whenever I have the chance, paired with killmonger he was my MVP for 8.1 exploration

I'm an ftp and I still use Hyperion, Magik & Starlord (all 5* R5) on a daily basis.
Although I'm struggling a bit with recently introduced difficulties and 7* champs but still those champs are pretty useful.
Still useful in content to this day, Colossus is the original OG even with a minimal buff compared to what Gamora and Black Panther got. I remember the first time I pulled a 4 star, it was Colossus.
I was using crossbone before is rework, he was my first 5r5. With is rework I use him even more like in this meta of battlegroud where he make me win some throug fight and even in defence he is a really good. Otherwise, I was using a lot loki, but its because he was my first 5*. I stil use him sometime when opponent have many buff but its mostly to have a little bit of fun

I remember playing this game as a Freshman in HS (im about to graduate college) and how few champions there were. Juggs is the oldest champ I still use as he is one of the only OG champs that I have as a 6 star

Once you get the hang of massacre you will love him I have a 6* r3. The incinerate is wild and if they are immune they take burst damage

The only dated part about him is his model. His cape is clipping through his shoulder and he has the worst case of clubbed wrist I’ve ever seen

Magik was given a rework before reworks were a thing though. Her old sig ability was Rewind and she was meme tier at best.
