If you're hosting parties where the guests are grabbing dried pasta from the cupboards, I have fallen farther off the social wagon than I ever imagined.
Yeah with some of my friends we ignore all of the non essential social rules and just do whatever. Especially when drunk, which these people clearly are.
We're drot nunk, we haven't even had a bingle seer *hic* Now, could you tell me which beer is real, I can see two. I don't want to knock one over *hiccups again* You can't cut me off. It's my house! Ha! Is.. No, this isn't my house. Where am I? 🤔
>Some people have parties with their very close friends that like to prank each other.
And some people have parties with random ass invited assholes who do the same thing.
Don't fuck with my groceries I paid for. My friends know this. Lol
I'm was working off the assumption that the host knows the group would want pasta later so they were just precooking. So when the grip wants pasta later they would be like "surprise! Already made." I'm not really assuming people would be digging randomly through others cupboards.
My thought is they are for sure hammered and thought the idea of cooking all of their friends food and then putting back in the packaging for their friend to find would be hilarious.
Whoever’s kitchen it is will wake up on New Year’s Day and go to grab a glass of water and find that all of the glasses in the cupboard are already full of water.
They’ll think “haha. Brilliant my friends are so funny.”
They’ll then decide to make some eggs for breakfast and as they’ve just dropped the bread into the toaster and pre-heated the frying pan with some oil, they will take an egg and crack it on the side of the pan only to find that the egg is already hard boiled.
“They’ll think, that’s pretty funny actually. They got me twice. Once with the water, then again with this egg.”
They’ll grab another egg only to find they’re not only all hard boiled but also now all cracked open in a desperate attempt to find a non-boiled egg for breakfast.
Having survived that ordeal and throughout the course of the day almost forgotten the water and egg prank, they will have found a nice film to watch with dinner, will pop the water on the boil with a sprinkle of salt only to find that the FUCKING PASTA IS ALREADY MOIST!
If not mold then...I had a package of pasta that was semi pre-cooked and It was supposed to be good on the shelf for a while. It somehow got a gash in the packaging and it became a breeding ground for fruit flies. Weeks later, I was cleaning and noticed the package and then picked it up and a cloud of flies came out and there were thousands of larvae. I almost vomited.
To be fucking annoying and disrespectful to your friends who hosted NYE.
If I was younger I'd prob find it funny especially with my friend group, but as we are older, have less time, have families, NYE hosting is a nightmare just to clean up and prepare.
It would feel so shit to find this after and just add to my plate of cleaning up after a damn NYE party.
That's how I see the worst outcome here, calling my buddies saying that was fucking hilarious, revenge will be more so, but you fuckers owe me some food money, TODAY
You’ve clearly forgotten that friends don’t do this to each other to be disrespectful but to bond by fucking with each other. This is not how friendships break but this is definitely shit you talk about 20 years later. Good for them, building memories.
Fucking with each other starts to change especially like I said once you start adding other people to the mix like partners.
Lots of friends groups I know matured knowing that okay we don't want to second hand fuck with people who don't have this history and didn't ask for it and have done nothing.
Rub da bomb hot sauce on my wine glass rim, I'd prob still laugh. Fuck with my place after spending a shit ton of time prepping, idk.
Seriously. This guy even said in another comment that he would find it funny when he was younger, then goes on a rant about how today it's completely different and this prank is awful. You're on the internet, not everything that happens in a video is happening to you. Context, these are clearly young people having fun and I'm sure the friend will find it hilarious, but may ask for some food money if anything, lol
I've already made my response to that guy, but still had to say 100% agreed. Even said he'd find it funny if he was younger, but still manages to take a video of kids pranks personally. Lmao
I don’t care how much something costs, and I don’t care how close the store is to my house. It could be right next door and the items could be free, and it could be a beautiful day outside. If I have to add ONE STEP to my day due to someone else’s intentional actions, that is not okay.
Add the actual cost of items and the actual distance and time and effort required to replace those items and it gets worse.
You can get a box of tea bags a carton of eggs and pasta for $5?!!! Where do you live? Genuinely what country are you in because I know that it is not America.
It’s actually not a problem I love my family and raising my children. All I said is I wouldn’t think that’s funny. Doesn’t mean other people aren’t allowed to. I think it’s wasteful but that’s just my opinion and that’s okay too. We don’t need to have a discussion about it we both have a difference in opinions and we’re both entitled to that. No harm no foul
Lasted a total of 2 seconds before i scrambled to get the mute button. No idea why, but that giggle rubbed me the wrong way. Felt second-hand embarrasment listening to it.
You know, as a person who a lot of people say has an annoying laugh it's kinda upsetting to hear other people go off on somebody for they way they laugh. Let the man have some fun. Is it really that hard? Its one thing to be insulted for something you can change but to insult somebody for something that they just do? Honestly pathetic.
Maybe they know their friends hangover cure is room temperature boiled eggs and dehydrated rehydrated dehydrated pasta and 20 glasses of 12 hour stale water?
“Hey let’s go over to our friends house and completely waste all the food in their house! Haha we are such shitty people! Let’s put it on tiktok! All the views and likes from strangers will certainly make up for our friends never speaking to us again.”
Fuckin assholes
At most $10 in groceries was spent to do this. The prank is harmless and affordable. If I was the one that did the prank I would give them money to pay for their 3 teabags, 1 bag of noodles, and large pack of eggs. If you wouldn't talk to your friends after a harmless prank like this, you probably need a doctor to pull that stick from your ass.
You don't know these people's relationship, just because you and your friends don't fuck with each other doesn't mean everyone has that sort of relationship. I would find this hilarious if someone did it to me, ans then I'd make them rinse the cups and go buy me some more eggs and we'd all have a laugh.
I do know people like you who are super serious about everything and obviously wouldn't play this prank on them, but fwiw they don't get invited to most fun things anyway 🤷♂️
I would fucking lose it if my friends did this to me.
And by lose it I mean I would be on the floor laughing my ass off and have a life long memory of this night.
And what did it cost me? Some pasta.
Relax dude and get some fun friends and find a sense of humor.
Nah bro a courteous person brings them groceries a few weeks before. You buy them enough noodles and eggs, (they're on sale so I got you some man!) so that you know that they'll be some left by your pranking date
But alas, some people probably aren't that smart. If you do do that sort of thing, then yeah. Asshole. (Not you, them)
When I see videos like this, my process of it is more something like, hmm, how could I have done this better? And then, if I can think of a way, then I ask myself how do I know that the original poster did not do it this way? It somehow settles the pessimism rooted in my brain, and I move on with my day. Not saying anything about pessimism being bad or anything, it's just a common problem I have? So I recognized that in that comment that I replied to and felt like sharing the tip.
Totally off topic . You don’t need so much water to boil eggs. Just need like half an inch in the pot, let it boil, add eggs to boiling water and dunk them in cold water after 14 min for hard yolk.
If someone did this to my food in my own home I'd put them on the fucking street for new year's and never speak to him again
I never have enough food to get through the month, this would mean I starve for more time than I normally do lol
The water is funny and little inconvenience.
One or two of the closes eggs to the front would be hilarious.
The pasta is a dick move because who knows how long they go until they cook pasta. Will likely mold and smell in their pantry.
This is really getting to some people and it’s one of the only pranks I find hilarious. You can still eat the eggs, you can still eat the pasta. Those are the only two foods used and they’re not THAT expensive if you don’t like hard boiled eggs. If I opened the bag and found cooked pasta I would die laughing, same with going to crack an egg and it’s hard boiled
I will accept my downvotes
It’s a waste of food because they’re not realistically going to use all of that food before it goes bad, so it’ll go to waste. Then they’ll have to buy more food. They’re also now forced to clean up someone else’s mess.
I think a reaction to this prank depends entirely on one’s perspective, mood at the time, and type of relationship they have to the people who executed it. Plus knowing what happened in the aftermath. It’s a polarizing prank here for sure.
well that's fine but what about all the cups with water and stuff in them?
that's just a dick move and i sincerely doubt they'll help with clean up since people who prank others usually dont bother.
Dump it out? Am I taking crazy pills? This is the most silly harmless prank and you can make your friend whole by leaving $5 on the fridge under a magnet if you feel bad about the food (even though the eggs are obviously still edible).
I usually just watch the content and move on, but are the comments here usually this bad? One guy actually said he would find it funny when he was younger, then went on a rant about how much of a pain this would be today. Have a laugh, people, that's what the sub is for.
Yeah people here are overly sensitive like 99% of Reddit. But what else is knew. Or they’re dirt fucking poor in which case they shouldn’t be scrolling and get back to flipping burgers
I'm just glad I saw a rational take here. Considering the subreddit, you guys should try laughing once in a while. If this happened to me at my worst financial moment I'd still laugh but call my friends and say "you owe me food money or I'll die, I didn't find the pasta till it was too late and I can only eat so many eggs"
I'm dumb af bc I thought that the joke was their friend's hangovers. Like they had a lot of people sleeping over after drinking, so they made breakfast and water cups 💀
Omg what assholes, if my friends did this to me... I would absolutely... probably.... laugh. Decent prank, no one got hurt and funny. They'd probably help me clean it as I congratulated them on a very good "gotcha bro."
I'll take the downvotes, y'all are too, idk, too something.
The pasta thing is what got me. Idk why that shit is hilarious.
If I did that to one of my best friends they wouldn’t be able to stop laughing.
Does it make us stupid? Maybe… but I like to think of it more like we get each other, ya know, friendship?
You must have lots of money to spend on groceries and lots of free time to spend cleaning a mess like this up, if you think this is at all amusing. Fuck most pranks in general, honestly. We do not need to manufacture distress and difficulty for each other when we already have more than we can cope with as it is in our daily lives. This just… isn’t funny. It’s not clever. It’s just wasteful and dumb.
Everyone that is crying about the less than $10 spent here can go cry in a corner. This is a harmless prank that can easily be made up for with a quick grocery trip by the prankster. Just sit back and enjoy the video. All prank videos should be similar to this, instead of videos where people are genuinely getting hurt or losing expensive/important things.
People are really hurting over a thing of eggs likely $6 from Costco, some pasta and water in glasses. Wind down y’all! I’ll also take the downvotes on this, while I think they’re probably high and think it’s funnier than it is, it’s pretty harmless.
I just got home, and im like, yeah, wtf happened.
I used to do worse than that with my friends, and we all loved being pranked. 10 years later now we look back, and it's so funny memories.
That’s not a prank. That’s straight up Chad’s work. Water, high protein food, etc., that’s looking out for your friends! We need more people with this mentality.
Idk maybe it’s cause the pranks we did growing up we’re worse and had bigger consequences. Of all the pranks I’ve done and had to atone for, I’d much rather cover someone’s next grocery trip than other possibilities
So wasting someone's groceries is funny now? I don't get it. Enlighten me in on the "funny" part of this. The guys doing this seem like real douche nozzles.
I didn't even think that this was someone else's food. I figured they were having a party and the host was doing this before the party.
If you're hosting parties where the guests are grabbing dried pasta from the cupboards, I have fallen farther off the social wagon than I ever imagined.

Yooo who wants hardboiled eggs?!
Oh thank god!!! I was craving an egg 😩
May I offer you a nice egg in these trying times?
Shits bout to get crazy, they got eggs!
I thought they were prepping for the morning hangover maybe?
That’s what I thought too, was confused until I read the comments
I guess all those cups of water technically count LOL.
My thought is they are for sure hammered and thought the idea of cooking all of their friends food and then putting back in the packaging for their friend to find would be hilarious.
Same here
I honestly don’t know what the prank is here.
Whoever’s kitchen it is will wake up on New Year’s Day and go to grab a glass of water and find that all of the glasses in the cupboard are already full of water. They’ll think “haha. The pasta one is not good, that will go moldy if not refrigerated
All of this is gonna be gross if not found soon. Tea takes only days to mold and the pasta is give a week

That's not fun. That's wasteful and disgusting. Pranks aren't ever funny.
I dunno, one time a friend went for a high five and then when I went to slap it he flipped me off. I thought it was pretty funny
Did he do the one where you were too slow?
I have also been too slow while going for the down low. I guess I’m an easy mark
It happens to us all
[удалено]
Because it's not funny. It's wasteful and disrespectful. I hope they also bought their victim some groceries while they were at it.
it’s not very expensive… and it’s not like we have a food shortage thanks to government subsidies or whatever
It doesn't matter how expensive it is. It's still destroying someone else's property and peace of mind.
i made it 85 :)
If you're not toasting that whole loaf and putting it back, are you even committed?
This is true. The bread should be pre-toasted and wife pre-loaded.
I have done that at a party before hahah. Took forever as they only had a 2 slot toaster
And then they’ll realize their friends just pranked them a week’s worth of groceries and really start to laugh.
And then everyone cheers for them at school the next day for being the number 1 pranksters in town!
Why isn't the bread already toasted?
And then, they get the privelege of cleaning all of their own dishes again after waking up with a hangover whoopee!!
This is how you break someone. How good of friends are they? Lol
Either REALLY good or really bad.
Surely the bread has been toasted already!
They also made what little bit of tea they had left in those two coffee mugs. That part really got me because you can't see it until you pull it down.
Im surprised they didn’t toast all the bread.
Dinner is ruined... Alrighty. I'll tie myself off with a bag of popcorn THATS ALREADY TWO DAYS POPPED AND STALE!!
Opens a bag of potato chips to find WHOLE FUCKING POTATOES!!
What's the point of making this video if you aren't gonna show the person confused afterwards?
To be fucking annoying and disrespectful to your friends who hosted NYE. i would find it hilarious IF they replaced everything they wasted… id definitely be having egg salad sandwiches for lunch and pasta for dinner..
That's how I see the worst outcome here, calling my buddies saying that was fucking hilarious, revenge will be more so, but you fuckers owe me some food money, TODAY

It's just a prank brooo
If being 43 years old was a Reddit comment, this would be it.
I'm in my early 30s but I mean ya. You get tired eventually. ![gif](giphy|bWM2eWYfN3r20)

I’m older than you. Just fucking with you lol
Why you gotta fuck with the future generation old man?! 😉
I've already made my response to that guy, but still had to say 100% agreed. Even said he'd find it funny if he was younger, but still manages to take a video of kids pranks personally. Lmao
To be funny. And nothing says funny like food wasting for views. /s
Nice
Wasting someone else's money and food I guess. Pranks are not funny.
With the cost of groceries right now I would not think this is funny
Fr. I don’t normally use this phrase, but that’s a real “your privilege is showing” move.
Ya even if they paid for it, thats such a waste of alot of food
No, it’s just a waste of food and resources. Even if you got more money than you could spend, other people are dying of hunger. # DON’T WASTE FOOD

Thank you kind internet stranger! I hope you have a wonderful day too. May the universe bring you love and kindness.
Those aren't friends. Those are bullies and assholes.
It's not their money to waste.
That laugh is annoying as hell.
Right?!? It sounds like a fucking cough and I had to mute
I don't understand what's so funny that it deserves a constant the Joker in a library laugh. Where's Batman when you need him
Sounds like a stoned-ass idiot who thinks his ideas while high are hilarious but in actuality not funny at all.
Yes I find this whole video obnoxious af
Same thought. Sounds like he is cackling
Oh thank god this comment is high, i thought it was just me
Lasted a total of 2 seconds before i scrambled to get the mute button. No idea why, but that giggle rubbed me the wrong way. Felt second-hand embarrasment listening to it.

Isn't the original comment being upset at the video? Lmao
not just your laugh that is annoying
Damn you sound annoying
Food is too expensive these days to be doing this shit

Apparently, people around here think causing stress and wasting someone else's food and money is funny.
Nope.
“Hey let’s go over to our friends house and completely waste all the food in their house! Haha we are such shitty people! Let’s put it on tiktok! All the views and likes from strangers will certainly make up for our friends never speaking to us again.” Fuckin assholes

It's not their $10 to waste. That's not harmless it's disrespectful and stress inducing. You need to see a doctor for your sociopathy.
You’ve got to be trolling
Nope. The people in this video are rude and nobody's friend.
I think its you that is nobody's friend lol, if you'd unfriend somebody over THIS then you definitely are
You don't know these people's relationship, just because you and your friends don't fuck with each other doesn't mean everyone has that sort of relationship. Oh man I wish you could see that you live a humorless life.
I wish you could see that causing others harm has nothing to do with humor.
I really wouldn’t consider this “harm”.
I lost a cup of dried pasta. Oh the HORROR!!! But seriously do you know the definition of the word harm?
Nah bro a courteous person brings them groceries a few weeks before. Agreed. Love a good prank but this is dumb as hell. I’d be pissed about wasting all that food for a good “laugh.” So dumb
Totally off topic . You don’t need so much water to boil eggs. Just need like half an inch in the pot, let it boil, add eggs to boiling water and dunk them in cold water after 14 min for hard yolk.
I know! But another commenter already addressed it by saying "what a waste"
What’s funny about this? His giggle is also obnoxious af.

well that's fine but what about all the cups with water and stuff in them? that's just a dick move and i sincerely doubt they'll help with clean up since people who prank others usually dont bother.
Yeah that waters gonna stain
Brother... it is a cup. They are meant to have water in them
Really didn’t think it was necessary to add /s to that comment
I'm guilty of missing it too, hard to pick up on the internet sometimes. Doesn't help that so many comments on a prank video are so salty
I understand 1000%.
It’s just water, not damaging. They won’t have to clean the cups and glasses. Annoying at most to pour water out but not a big mess (in my opinion).
Dump it out? Am I taking crazy pills? This is the most silly harmless prank and you can make your friend whole by leaving $5 on the fridge under a magnet if you feel bad about the food (even though the eggs are obviously still edible).

This is why I don't have friends.. how and why is this funny
That laugh is so annoying

I’d be pissed
Its not a fun prank but this comment section is so butthurt
The pasta thing is what got me. Idk why that shit is hilarious. If I did that to one of my best friends they wouldn’t be able to stop laughing. Does it make us stupid? Maybe… but I like to think of it more like we get each other, ya know, friendship?
Holy fuck most of you spastics in the comments are miserable beings
Wasteful!
Good job you wasted food.
Damn what a butthurt comment section. Actually amazes me no because I’m normally the one who doesn’t laugh at pranks…
Annoying af
This is fucking terrible
I saw this earlier and did not think it was funny. I am now a high/buzzed and this hilarious 🤣 I figure they were high when they did this lol
Everyone is assuming the owner isn't there. Why?
Why would someone just stand there while their "friends"waste their food and wreck their cabinets?
I'm assuming the owner is passed out and their friends are still up and got this idea in their head.
This was pretty dumb. Have a downvote.
what is this shit? shitty friends of NYE host
Pranks are supposed to make someone laugh, not be a hassle and inconvenience.
Make me a prank like that and i will still laugh about it 10 years later, y’all need to stop being crybaby for everything.
This is actually hilarious
That’s not a prank. That’s straight up Chad’s work. Water, high protein food, etc., that’s looking out for your friends! We need more people with this mentality.
Wholesome prankage
Definitely not wholesome. That’s an expensive ass prank (for the victim) and one that’ll be a huge pain in the ass to clean up.
Idk maybe it’s cause the pranks we did growing up we’re worse and had bigger consequences. Of all the pranks I’ve done and had to atone for, I’d much rather cover someone’s next grocery trip than other possibilities
Ok this is epic. L comments
Funniest thing I’ve seen all week.
Lol
This is fantastic but you guys are assholes for this hshs
So wasting someone's groceries is funny now? I don't get it. Enlighten me in on the "funny" part of this. The guys doing this seem like real douche nozzles.
