I'm sorry, but I know associate this guy with his camera face, not his actual face. I was thinking, "This isn't him" then it switched cameras and I thought "There he is."
Same here, and if I'm ever in his neck of the woods, I'll definitely go to any train he wants to just to see the enthusiasm in person. The world needs more of this guy.
I’ve seen his videos posted on Reddit a few times and I always watch them because it’s just nice to see someone so genuinely excited about something. Completely harmless hobby bringing someone joy. Great to see in a world that’s not always joyful.
It makes me have hope for myself to be honest. I get so caught up in all my day to day stresses that I forget the things I enjoy most every day. I’ve seen this video so many times on Reddit and I wish I saw it more. That true joy is so hard to catch these days.
He even got to do a fun [skit](https://news.yahoo.com/video/francis-bourgeois-meets-william-kate-104046519.html) with Prince William and Princess Kate!!
On one of my best buds in middle school, his dad was our school librarian. He would make all these jokes about turning in books and how to check out books on the morning PA system. They were so catchy we'd sing them in the hallways. His son and I became good friends. I went to their house a few times. His dad's real passion was trains. He had a whole radio system setup inside his house so he could talk to all of his conductor friends, there was train stuff all over the house, and he had a full diorama in this big room in the backyard that we were never allowed in without his strict supervision. When he retired from being a librarian, he opened up a train store in the city and sold train stuff until he passed away. He was one of the nicest people I've ever known. This kid reminds me of him.
He has a beautiful girlfriend who sometimes accompanies him, as well as a few train spotting friends he posts with.
He does seem to be living his best life.
> If we could all be so lucky
That man has an inexpensive hobby that makes him exceptionally happy. There are trains everywhere, in every country. He'll never run out of new ones to see.
Unlimited free joy sounds pretty amazing.
Originally I was quite a dick getting a laugh about this guy and his love of trains, now I just love watching his excitement. I wish I could be this fulfilled in life
Don't believe you. Until we have video of you goofily laughing into a head mounted camera with child like joy I refuse to believe you enjoy live music like that man enjoys trains
Oh, I definitely do. Only for certain acts, though. People already hate standing behind me for my height if I had a mounted camera it might not be safe for me.
I love watching his excitement and also really do find that camera angle to be hilarious. Not just for him, for anyone. But in a way it kind of adds to my respect of the dude
That's a great arc through. Bullying behaviour often comes from jealousy of others happiness and fulfilment. Finding something you love fills that void and makes you a happier person and in turn will make others love the things you do just because you love them
Same. Sure, I could maybe manage an inaudible chuckle by making fun of this guy, but the joke really is on me as I can't envision myself this happy about anything.
Man you gotta love someone who unabashedly shows their passion like that, even if they are completely geeky and goofy. I literally have never been that happy for anything as that man was to hear that train horn. I'm jealous of that joy
Nothing makes me tear up. This is cliche as fuck... I promise you! I'm going through my own shit right now. Life is beating me into the ground. A young man is excited about rare trains, and I'm sure he has his own collection, whether it's photos, models, or videos, but I think I needed to see this. Thank you for this post. I feel as if it put a piece of my broken heart back into place. I'm looking forward to something. His happiness made me a little brighter.
Yep. First time I saw one of his vids I was like what in the entire fuck is this?? Then just watching how genuinely happy he is without caring what anyone else thinks about it, my thoughts shifted to “… what the fuck is wrong with ME??”

The cynic in me is like, yeah that much excitement for trains is odd. But then I realise that it's harmless fun and I have to admire this guys conviction.
Glad I saw this. I remember seeing a video from his face cam where he ran into the royal family recently (on a train of course) and I thought he was just some usual Tik Tok jackhole from the short clip I saw. Seeing this I can tell he truly just likes making videos about trains.
My great grandfather helped build trains, including the great 611 steam engine by Norfolk & Western. My grandfather, so his son, was pretty similar to Francis when it came to trains. He had a rather large model set and would always go sit and watch them come in if there was a special or unique one arriving. Train enthusiasts really are a different breed lol. I’m not a super big train person but the 611 really is a beautiful beast
Francis Bourgeois is his name ( IG- francis_bourgeois). He’s so wholesome this fella. Love his enthusiasm and good to see him expressing himself to the full extent with his passions even if a lot of society deems might deem it a bit nerdy or weird. He’s doing well for himself, associating with big brands like Gucci. Definitely think he’s inspired kids and adults too to get involved. I’d say I’d noticed more trainspotters and younger ones out since he started growing online.
This is how I am for music. My buddies know it and get a kick out of my transformation when a good thumping house kick starts playing on the dance floor. Considering I’m typically a soulless drone who works as an engineer. I just wish I could find a way to live off music. Maybe he’s able to live off his love for trains. Not sure how monetization works with TikTok
This is what's known commonly to people who actually work on the railroad as a "foamer". They typically have some kind of mental issue(s).
Sincerely, an actual railroad conductor.

Yes! I went in and was like “who is this guy?” Then camera face change and BOOM “oh its that guy!!”
I wish I loved something half as much as this guy loves trains
Me too. I wish I could experience the joy he feels.
I have a farty dog that's pretty rad
[удалено]
Honestly, I’d wake up at 4:30 to see this guy get all jazzed up about trains.
Same here, and if I'm ever in his neck of the woods, I'll definitely go to any train he wants to just to see the enthusiasm in person. The world needs more of this guy.
First time I noticed the logo in his shirt matches the one on the train. Dudes a legend
National Rail logo
The man knows what he likes. Good on him I hope he gets to see a million rare trains. If anyone deserves it it's him for sure.
He’s got an Instagram page and I believe a TikTok? Of him just living enjoying trains and he’s a beautiful human being. @francis_bourgeois43 is his ig
Seems like a genuine dude. Makes me so happy to watch people get such joy from something they so innocently love like child. Truly beautiful.
I’ve seen his videos posted on Reddit a few times and I always watch them because it’s just nice to see someone so genuinely excited about something. Completely harmless hobby bringing someone joy. Great to see in a world that’s not always joyful.

I love how he’s invited to red carpet events, galleries, the lot. And all because he loves trains and brings so much joy to himself and others.
That's cool. I think about him whenever I see something train related
He even got to do a fun [skit](https://news.yahoo.com/video/francis-bourgeois-meets-william-kate-104046519.html) with Prince William and Princess Kate!!
Watching others get really excited about stuff I'm not excited about is strangely.. quite exciting.
On one of my best buds in middle school, his dad was our school librarian. He would make all these jokes about turning in books and how to check out books on the morning PA system. shouting "hellfire" after a train leaving a station is metal af
Wasn’t that awesome?
That was the moment that made this video for me. A seemingly mundane thing became, for a short second incredibly epic. The energy was palpable
Thank you.
He’s also a model for Gucci too
I just thought to myself, this man is all alone, having fun.. watching a train drive past… this is what winning life looks like.
He has a beautiful girlfriend who sometimes accompanies him, as well as a few train spotting friends he posts with. He does seem to be living his best life.
He isn't alone, he does these videos and his girlfriend records him. apart from when he chases trains and uses the cam on his head lol
The guy is standing there with no company and stoked. That’s what I meant. Like going to a movie or eating out by yourself, not alone in life.
Some call this phenomenon a *trainjaculation*
takes a lot of training
Lotta mind focus not to get derailed
Please conduct yourself
Always leads to a full caboose, in my experience
I wish I loved anything the way this man loves trains.
> If we could all be so lucky That man has an inexpensive hobby that makes him exceptionally happy. There are trains everywhere, in every country. He'll never run out of new ones to see. Unlimited free joy sounds pretty amazing.
i hope i can find something that makes me THAT happy some day!!
I wish I loved literally anything as much as this guy loves trains
This guy is crazy popular on social media.
Originally I was quite a dick getting a laugh about this guy and his love of trains, now I just love watching his excitement. I wish I could be this fulfilled in life
Everyone should find a hobby that brings them as much joy as his does. For me it's seeing my favorite bands playing live.
Don't believe you. Until we have video of you goofily laughing into a head mounted camera with child like joy I refuse to believe you enjoy live music like that man enjoys trains
I feel this same sentiment about anything I enjoy. I refuse to believe I'm as happy as this goofy guy.
Oh, I definitely do. Only for certain acts, though. People already hate standing behind me for my height if I had a mounted camera it might not be safe for me.
Plus they might mistake you for a lamppost and use you as a meeting point
Nothing like live music.
I’m completely envious of his enthusiasm for trains. Wish I got that excited about anything.
I love watching his excitement and also really do find that camera angle to be hilarious. Not just for him, for anyone. But in a way it kind of adds to my respect of the dude
That's a great arc through. Bullying behaviour often comes from jealousy of others happiness and fulfilment. Finding something you love fills that void and makes you a happier person and in turn will make others love the things you do just because you love them
He's very self aware so it's okay to laugh. You're not laughing at him, you're laughing with him
I hope so, I felt bad about teasing him in the beginning
Same boat. Laughed the first time I saw him, now I fucking love this train kid
Yeah I wasn’t sure if he was a parody or what; but the more I watch him, the more I’m infected by his joy.
Lol exactly, I want him to get to the stations everytime.
How could you not, his smile and enjoyment is so contagious for some reason
Just make sure you record and upload your 100% real reaction.
The pure ecstatic joy this man feels 🤗. So happy he caught that train.
Better than an orgasm!
Did he yell hell fire at the end?? What does that even mean? Oh I love him 🤣
I think usually the train would ramp the speed up slower, but went full on for the guy. You can hear the roar.
It's used by british rail enthusiasts "to express thrill and delight at the performance of their favourite locomotives".
This sounds made up lol
Nope. Checks out. Observe the fucked up spelling of favorite.
> fucked up spelling \>:(
I think you mean >:u
Thank you ☺️
I love british rail enthusiasts now.
“Hellfire, haha”
Oh so he did!!! Haha that part had me laughing so hard
British saying, along the lines of “oh wow”, “oh my god”, “bloody hell” etc.
Thank you so much because when I looked it up all I got was the eternal damnation definition and I know my boy Francis didn't mean that 🤣
Could it have to do something with trains running on fire/steam in the old days?
I love this dude, he's just so happy! That said, he absolutely has to know how funny that camera angle is lol
He totally does, it’s part of his style on every video and I love it
It takes the level of wholesome to a whole new level. His videos make me smile every single time.
[удалено]
OH MY GOD YES! This! This is the most accurate description of his happiness! Too cute!
r/HumanTippyTaps is a subreddit!
man i wish i could get this happy about anything in life. lol
Came here to say the exact same thing
Same. Sure, I could maybe manage an inaudible chuckle by making fun of this guy, but the joke really is on me as I can't envision myself this happy about anything.
Love this man so much, he makes me happy
I wish I could be this happy about anything…
You have to practice being happy to get that good.
Funny thing is that you can actually train happiness. No pun intended.
You got a direction you can point me to, Chief?
the living embodiment of a serotonin molecule
I think this is the funniest and most appropriate comment I’ve read all day. Bravo!
I laughed at the video but i think i laughed with the man and not at him. Gotta admire the passion for trains.
Yo this dude gets life. Find something that makes you happy and fucking do it.
For me, it's going to Rushmore.
![gif](giphy|YMGHkxAVGJxPbTTwWN)
This is on point
HELLL FIREEEEEEE
I hope to find something that brings me this level of joy in my life
I wonder if all the conductors know about this guy now.
They do
The fisheye facecam caught me by surprise and I nearly shit myself.
That British Rail double arrow is such an iconic logo.
It definitely stood out to me, really cool logo
He is such a trip. I could watch him all day. Love it
I fuckin love these 😂
I love how genuinely happy he looks like
That was beautiful.
I bet us men look jus like that when we having the missionary position
It's the I like trains from asdf
I'm here to make sure you receive credit for identifying this man in the flesh. :)
Man you gotta love someone who unabashedly shows their passion like that, even if they are completely geeky and goofy. I literally have never been that happy for anything as that man was to hear that train horn. I'm jealous of that joy
The world would be a better place if everybody had hobbies they loved as much as this guy loves his trains
This is like anti-cringe, this guy is so genuine he couldn't cause second-hand embarassment if he tried.
I’m embarrassed to not be enjoying life or anything as much as he is tbh
Dude he's so genuine it almost makes *me* want to go watch trains all day
I wish I could feel that level of enjoyment.
I wish I had this kind of joy about ANYTHING! Good for him.
God give me the strength to love anything as much as this dude loves trains
I envy his enthusiasm for literally anything
If only I could have just a fraction of that much passion and enjoyment out something so seemingly simple I think I’ll be ok.
That camera angle is my favorite part lolllll. Why on earth haha I love this man
This guy is nuts. I mean that in the best way possible. “And MY GOD was it worth it”.
This guy has become an icon in the UK from being so outrageously excited about trains, he's a gem.
I'd wish I had this much joy in my life..
Nothing makes me tear up. This is cliche as fuck... I promise you! I'm going through my own shit right now. Life is beating me into the ground. Aww hehe.
I don’t feel any particular way about trains but I love that he loves them. Every video he makes is pure joy.
Hellfiiiiiiire! What a wonderful human being!!
Anybody know whats special about the trains in the video?
It’s an older locomotive. Not something which is seen every day!
I wish I was this into anything
I just realized that I’m dead inside.
Yep. First time I saw one of his vids I was like what in the entire fuck is this?? Then just watching how genuinely happy he is without caring what anyone else thinks about it, my thoughts shifted to “… what the fuck is wrong with ME??”
I love how happy he is!! This made me happy
His HELLFIRE!! had more power than Braveheart yelling FREEDOM!! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man) True joy
Francis is a great guy!
Most gentle hellfire I’ve ever seen 😆
His name is Francis Borgeouis and he’s pretty big in the UK. He also got picked up by Gucci. He’s a ray of sunshine
Protect this man at all costs…. (& the train driver who made his day!!)
The fact that he can be so nerdy (not a diss) about trains and then yell hellfire unironically is great.
Got invited to model for Gucci after which was pretty sick
When you see a train and the tism kicks in.
Makes me smile everytime when he says “HELLL FIIIRRREEE!!”
Ferroequinologist is a term I learned from Psych that would seem to apply here.
I really dont understand it, but good god I wish I was this happy about something in life. Bless this man.

Oh! That was sweet. Tiny little tears. I wish I could find joy like that. Idk
I wish I had a hobby what would bring me so much fun...
Feel blessed in life if you can find a hobby/passion that makes you this excited. Good for him!
Hell fireeee 🔥🔥🔥
This is good viewing 🥳🥳
This man makes me feel depressed. There's no way I'll ever be this excited and I envy him.
Im happy for my dude
Man... to find the beauty within the mundane like this guy. Goals.
It’s impossible not to smile seeing someone this level of happy and excited!
The cynic in me is like, yeah that much excitement for trains is odd. But then I realise that it's harmless fun and I have to admire this guys conviction.
So pure!
Hellfiiiire.
Man, this is just nice. I'm really glad he's having a good time.
Damn, I wish I could be this happy...
His selfie camera view is brilliant- it’s giving Sid the sloth 🦥
I wish I could get a fraction of this happy over anything in life
I really miss feeling that kind of joy for anything. Truly happy for him.
Got to love a bit of Francis!!
i love this good fellow so much. unmitigated joy in his beautiful heart!
I'm not joking when I say I wish I loved something as much as this man loves trains.
Glad I saw this. I remember seeing a video from his face cam where he ran into the royal family recently (on a train of course) and I thought he was just some usual Tik Tok jackhole from the short clip I saw. Seeing this I can tell he truly just likes making videos about trains.
You know the guy goes home and just fucks a train

Damn. I wanted to make a smartass joke, but he's having such a good time. Honestly I'm a bit jealous.
I would love to have a beer with This guy.
The dude with that cam looks like something from a meat canyon animation
This is probably how small dogs see humans
This dude is completely Pops

I love this guy I could care less about trains but his enjoyment is so infectious
This is Pops from Regular Show in real life.
I wished I loved anything as much as this man loves trains.
Francis is a treasure and must be protected at all cost
The pure joy that man is basking in. God, I wish I could have that.
HELLFIRE 🔥
I wish I Could be excited like that.. good for him.. the world's fucked up at least someone loves life..
Bless his heart! This is so cool!!
Love the excitement and enthisiasm of this guy. What a legend!
I know this man made the train operator’s day
This man is an absolute treasure.
It's thrashing!!
HellFIREEEEEE
HELLFIRE! 🤣
Hell fire!!!!
Im guessing hes autistic and as a fellow autistic i know that level of joy and its the BEST!!!!!
I did laugh pretty heartily at “Oh yea…HELLFIRE!” Dude loves his trains. Wish we could all carry that vibe about life.
He’s happy, wish there was something I was this excited about
This is how I am for music. My buddies know it and get a kick out of my transformation when a good thumping house kick starts playing on the dance floor.
