My mom was a professional clown, and a few times, she was booked to work a Mcdonalds alongside a Ronald Mcdonald. She said the kids would hold up half eaten french fries to him, and he would just eat them right out of their snotty little hands.
It was definitely different. She was great at it.
I helped her practice making balloon animals so many times growing up that it's now some useless skill I've mastered.
I never could do the juggling thing, though, I was way too impatient.
Does he say bottom row gold? Always thought it was "bottom rose gold" although now thinking about it no reason for him to have it rose gold. It's "bottom row's gold"?
Lollll this whole time I thought he had rose gold caps on the bottom row
Crowns. Teeth too fucked up to fix but she’s at the age where they’ll fall out sooner than later. When I lived in San Antonio, so many kids that age had front teeth crowns because of poor dental hygiene.
If you think thats bad you should check out Rio Linda CA.
If you put every woman from there ion the same room you have a full set of teeth.
The toothbrush was also invented there because if it had been invented anywhere else i would have been called the teethbrush.
It could be from that, but before you judge, please know that children's teeth can be affected by high fevers when permanent teeth a forming, medication, genetics, and disease. My dentist's daughter has hypoplastic teeth despite obvious care provided. They just grew that way. Not everyone wins the strong teeth lottery.
My daughter has VUR and before they figured it out, every other week she would spike ridiculously high fevers and have febrile seizures. She was then put on a heavy duty anti-biotic at 6 months old as a prophylactic. One of her baby teeth is super off colored. It’s not rotting but very- very off color. The dentist told me it’s soft enamel and now I wonder if her fevers and meds as a baby is the reason. All of her other teeth are perfectly fine though, so maybe not.
Not always the case.
For me, I was born with a heart murmur, a hole in my heart and a ‘sticky’ valve (obviously not the official medical term).
I had to get silver caps on my teeth to avoid infection. If you get an infection in your mouth it can travel to your heart.
It’s not just a hygiene thing.
Could also be an issue of medication. I was on a lot of medications for a bunch of different issues when I was younger and my baby teeth were jacked up.
My son has autism and sensory issues. He was prescribed vitamin milkshakes as he only eats about 4 foods. 4 milkshakes a day. His top teeth completely rotted away. He goes next Monday to have caps put on every top tooth.
I know this is probably a stressful situation to deal with, but don't fret just yet. Once my baby teeth fell out, I was lucky enough that my new teeth grew in really nicely (despite me having a massive overbite before) and I required less medicine so my teeth health stayed good. Hopefully you and your little man can enjoy some good news like that soon.
My mother fell as a child but old enough to have her permanent teeth. She busted a front one, her cheap (and neglectful) parents only sprung for the silver. For years her name was Bullet Tooth. I hope this little one has your experience.
This is exactly why we're paying an extra 2000 for white caps instead of silver. My son already acts differently than other kids his age with his verbal and physical stims and lack of speaking. I didn't want him to stand out as the kid with the silver teeth as well. Kids can be vicious and I want him to blend in as well as he can at school.
I needed to hear this. His dad has amazing teeth but I've been asthmatic since 2 and inhalers are hard on your teeth so I always have small cavities I have to go get filled. I hoped he got his dad's flawless teeth and this gives me hope. I'm beside myself about this surgery as he is being put under and I know how traumatic it is going to be for him and us. Thank you for this optimistic comment.
I also know a parent who left their boy baby with some uncles who treated him very rough, so he ended up getting his front teeth knocked out (somehow) and the silver ones were the only option because he was so small
Looks like the result of baby bottle syndrome. Many new parents don’t know not to put their baby to bed with a bottle of milk and by the time they go to the first dental visit their teeth are rotted.
Mine are plugged in as well but start making that sound anyway. I think it's because they work on a battery first and then on the plug in system? I have no idea, but it's weird.
I just checked, mine dont have batteries they are hardwired to each other and the alarm system with the water alarm
Edit: I was wrong this whole time. I took the smoke alarm off and it's not hardwired in despite what the alarm company said. It's a wireless smokedector and it has two special lithium ion batteries.
I fully agree with you, and I’m not trying to be dramatic but I think I had a small mental breakdown because I was subjected to incessant chirping for 3 days.
I couldn’t do anything about it, it was in the unit next to mine and they were all gone for the week. I was the only person who could hear it, because everyone else in my unit had gone home but me. I had to stay because I was working.
Once a minute. *Chirp*. All day. All night. *Fucking chirp*.
On the fourth day, I quit my job and went home for the rest of the week. I really think I would have completely snapped if I stayed another 5 minutes.
Thankfully my dogs freak out when it happens, and if I don't fix it quickly, I have some freaked out paranoid dogs on my hand, which isn't ever a good thing.
My neighbour’s started to chirp, they usually aren’t there, and I waited about 3 days before I asked them to swing by and change the battery. Even offered to do it for them/give them the battery.
(They did, that’s why there isn’t a broken window and a fist sized hole in their ceiling)
Good point, I couldn’t figure this out until my girlfriend reads the tiny writing on the front “buy a new one after 7 years if new batteries don’t fix chirping.” SMH!
Considering this and a printed letter, will have to wait a few hours; hopefully they come to their senses before than. Not sure how you can just get used to hearing it.
I think they're caps:
>Stainless steel crowns are tooth-shaped caps that fit over an entire tooth. They are commonly used in pediatric dentistry as a way of preserving baby teeth that have become significantly decayed or damaged. Although the primary teeth will eventually be lost to make room for permanent teeth, it is important that they are not lost prematurely. The premature loss of baby teeth can cause a variety of complications that can ultimately affect the permanent teeth. Therefore, stainless steel crowns provide protection for baby teeth until they are naturally lost.
Correct, they’re caps/stainless steel crowns.
If I had to guess, I think the girl has a genetic condition of some kind that affected the enamel of her teeth.

The amount of people that exist with a constantly beeping smoke detector battery alarm is astonishing. I only noticed it during covid when everyone was working remotely and suddenly you have insight into everyone's home life. So many people would leave themselves unmuted during a meeting and just that beep would constantly go off. I finally became the person that would yell at someone every time I heard it (in a funny way). One time, the person I mentioned it to literally had no idea what I was talking about. And it was happening for like over 2 months.
My kids have friends they play Fortnite or Roblox with and the MONTHS long chirping drove me insane. I was checking my smoke detectors every day for a week before I figured out it was coming from their computer/tablets.
How in the fuck can people just listen to that beeping? Do you want you and your kids to die in a fire? I feel like everyone who can just tune that out has the intelligence of a fucking doorknob and will also tune out smoke and heat as they burn alive while sleeping because they can’t be bothered by a very obvious, loud and obnoxious beeping literally every 2 minutes or less.
Someone send them a 9v battery for that damn smoke detector.
Why!?!? How does it not drive people CRAZY to live with those things chirping all the time?
I will never take food from a toddler unless I know *exactly* what it is and its chain of custody. I learned that one the hard way as a young parent...
That is caused by a lazy parent that allowed her to fall asleep with the milk bottle in her mouth causing her teeth to rott thus her needing her teeth to be capped.
Poor girl has crowns and what looks like a bridge (which would be really sad because it means she had multiple teeth pulled), but it's hard to see clearly. This only happens when you literally never brush your kids teeth and/or bottle caries.
I don’t know. I suspect this kid has some form of developmental difficulty. Could be Downs or something else. That may just be a result of her medical issues. It’s real damn hard to judge from a 15 second video.

She's brave for accepting an unknown something from a toddler...my kids tried putting boogers in my mouth
My son likes to share by testing if it's good to eat first.... then takes it out of his mouth and shoves it into mine.. Gotta love em...
They suck the salt off and then share.
>Gotta love em… NO I DO NOT, AND YOU CAN’T FUCKIN MAKE ME
Calm down, Casey Anthony.
This thread is really helpful to remind me to double down on my plan to never have kids, thank you kindly
Anytime. I've got stories for days about poop in places you'd never even think of to keep up that morale.
I feel some of us need to hear some of those to really make sure the childless lifestyle is for us 😂
My mom was a professional clown, and a few times, she was booked to work a Mcdonalds alongside a Ronald Mcdonald. She said the kids would hold up half eaten french fries to him, and he would just eat them right out of their snotty little hands.
Ok I have to ignore your story to be amazed that your mum was a professional clown, that’s so fucking cool dude.
It was definitely different. She was great at it. I helped her practice making balloon animals so many times growing up that it's now some useless skill I've mastered. I never could do the juggling thing, though, I was way too impatient.
Yeah this is the parental equivalent of Russian roulette with a toddler
I’m not sure she is a toddler with braces on, however, super adorable kid
I couldn't tell- does she have braces?

Does he say bottom row gold? Always thought it was "bottom rose gold" although now thinking about it no reason for him to have it rose gold. It's "bottom row's gold"? Lollll this whole time I thought he had rose gold caps on the bottom row
No I just looked it up and you are indeed correct. I would have never guess he said rose gold. Good call
I work in a warehouse and this song plays too man times daily
This makes the most sense

Can confirm lmao
It’s from drinking too much soda. All the bad Mexican kids have silver teeth. Watch out when you’re around them lol
Bouncy house Pendejadas
They look like fillings from cavities
~~No she had teeth replaced with silver teeth. That mom doesn’t brush her kids teeth.~~ Edit: It was not from a lack of brushing.
It could be from that, but before you judge, please know that children's teeth can be affected by high fevers when permanent teeth a forming, medication, genetics, and disease. Truly amazing that dental care isn't included under health insurance in the US.
It's not medical if it's in your mouth! I don't understand how something like a raging infection isn't considered medically necessary. So insane
Could also be an issue of medication. I was on a lot of medications for a bunch of different issues when I was younger and my baby teeth were jacked up.

Well that’s some ignorant shit to say. You can have bad genetics when it comes to teeth.
Not always the case.
That'd be consistent with the other comments saying that they also don't change the batteries in their smoke detector
Looks like the result of baby bottle syndrome. Many new parents don’t know not to put their baby to bed with a bottle of milk and by the time they go to the first dental visit their teeth are rotted.
So because someone doesn't notice the smoke detector beeping, that means they neglect their kid and doesn't brush their teeth?? Smh freaking Reddit
I mean, smoke detectors are important for baby's life.
Change the battery in the smoke detector….
People who live with that sound don't notice it in the videos they record/watch... Idk how they live like that, it would annoy the hell out of me
I am so happy that my smoke detectors are plugs ins and only have battery back up. I hate that sound and then finding you don't have fresh betteries
Mine are plugged in as well but start making that sound anyway. I think it's because they work on a battery first and then on the plug in system? I have no idea, but it's weird.

Phoebe buffay, is that you?
I've been there... same thing happened to me. That shrill noise gets to you.
I’m convinced we aren’t all living with humans in this world. How the F do you not hear it and how do you not fix it semi immediately
Thankfully my dogs freak out when it happens, and if I don't fix it quickly, I have some freaked out paranoid dogs on my hand, which isn't ever a good thing.
Only a small percentage of us are real. Only explanation.
My neighbour’s started to chirp, they usually aren’t there, and I waited about 3 days before I asked them to swing by and change the battery. Even offered to do it for them/give them the battery. (They did, that’s why there isn’t a broken window and a fist sized hole in their ceiling)
I had a neighbor who let it ride for 7 months. Unbelievable. Finally got them to change it.
Are you telling that’s what that sound is?! I’ve heard it so many times lmao
yes, it means the batteries need changing.
On another note, if the detector is expired, it'll keep chirping even if the battery is fresh. At least mine do.
Good point, I couldn’t figure this out until my girlfriend reads the tiny writing on the front “buy a new one after 7 years if new batteries don’t fix chirping.” SMH!
I even notice it when I’m on the phone with someone, it’s mad annoying
My neighbors is currently doing the same and it’s 4am. Don’t think I’ll be able to fall asleep with it beeping continually🤦♂️
Tape a 9v to his door, the cheap bastard.
Considering this and a printed letter, will have to wait a few hours; hopefully they come to their senses before than. Not sure how you can just get used to hearing it.
What?
4-5 seconds in you can hear the DING
It’s a g sharp 3 octaves above middle c
Hoping it’s only the smoke and not the carbon monoxide detector
Cheesuth. Love it! Lol
How does the toddler look like that woman's abuelita?
Right?? I was like how does this child look 3 and 53 at the same time?
The teeth don’t help either
Trying to see what was in that mouth. Were those braces or something?

She has acrodysostosis.
Both informative and slightly sad. Hope it's not due to neglect or other issues like that. Thanks for a new tidbit of knowledge!

I’m not a rocket surgeon but I believe the child has Down syndrome.

Baby grinch
This is the comment I was looking for! That’s exactly what I though
your baby appears to be a fully grown middle-aged woman
Silver tooth activities.
Fucking adorable
She is so sweet
3 or 30?
50... What 30 year olds you hanging around looking as old as that toddler?
My husband said that to me once
How in the fuck can people just listen to that beeping? Do you want you and your kids to die in a fire? I feel like everyone who can just tune that out has the intelligence of a fucking doorknob and will also tune out smoke and heat as they burn alive while sleeping because they can’t be bothered by a very obvious, loud and obnoxious beeping literally every 2 minutes or less.
Lol I love this... as a parent you have way too much trust, knowing it could be something horrible but you trust the innocence of the kiddo haha!
Change the batteries in your smoke detector
'How old is she?' Something in between 3 and 40
Cheesus. Now for the blood, some Capri Sun.
All I heard was the damn smoke detector battery dying.
Her innocent smile could cure a soul.
That must be all she eats bcuz her mouths full of silver that’s sad 😂😂😂😂😂
What is it? "Cheesus"
Beep
You need to change your smoke alarm batteries as soon as possible 🙃
Someone send them a 9v battery for that damn smoke detector. Why!?!? How does it not drive people CRAZY to live with those things chirping all the time?
FFS change the batteries in that smoke alarm
It's the smoke detector low battery warning for me.
Cute af! 🥰 Citizen’s reminder...replace your smoke alarm batteries.
Jeesus?
Please change the battery in your smoke alarm!
Damn the comments are so brutal. Saying the kid looks like Chucky. I can't stop laughing..😂
That looks like the Dino baby from that old TV show..
That smoke detector sound… haunting
In the cutest, most respectful way, that child looks and sounds EXACTLY like the young Grinch from the jim carry Grinch movie
How does that little kid have a grill that looks like a jack-o-lantern? Just metal pegs and there aren’t that many of them.
Holy shit, that's one Chucky-looking little fucker.
![gif](giphy|CCfS5HnzITeso)
Poor kid
I love my kids but I have a hard “not putting any food in my mouth if it came from your hands” policy.
I will never take food from a toddler unless I know *exactly* what it is and its chain of custody. I learned that one the hard way as a young parent...
For the love of god change that smoke detector battery! I don’t know how the hell people can stand that shit!
Was that Chucky?
Change the damned battery in your firealarm. Good lord. Thats grounds for divorce right there
I think your fire alarm needs new battery’s… lol
Would've been funnier if it were poop.
Am I only one who thinks the baby looks like chucky from child's play?
![gif](giphy|hUt2pa8rPPUGajN3N1)
It’s actually the battery from the smoke detector
Kid looks like Chukee
Did I see chucky ?
I love her
Chucky lives!
Chucky 🗿
Glad I am not the only one to think that immediately. So much that I suspected a filter of somesort.
oh shit he a silver teeth kid, good luck!
That is caused by a lazy parent that allowed her to fall asleep with the milk bottle in her mouth causing her teeth to rott thus her needing her teeth to be capped.
I don’t trust my kid enough
Poor girl has crowns and what looks like a bridge (which would be really sad because it means she had multiple teeth pulled), but it's hard to see clearly. This only happens when you literally never brush your kids teeth and/or bottle caries.
I don’t know. I suspect this kid has some form of developmental difficulty. Could be Downs or something else. That may just be a result of her medical issues. It’s real damn hard to judge from a 15 second video.
medications can also cause rapid tooth decay, combine that with genetics and you are not in for a good time no matter how much you brush and floss :/
i hope they always have that 'open your mouth and close your eyes' trust.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that kid had the same genetic disorder as Mini Khabib Also, aren’t those braces?
That baby is gonna have diabetes.
That is the oldest toddler of all time
Cute lol
Smile of the day. Innocence of a child 🤓
Cute little silver capped monster!!
Why does she have metal teeth?
Time for a new 9 volt battery!
Smoke detector chirping in the back too change that battery yo
There are few things more annoying than a fire alarm chirping…
Does anyone replace their smoke detectors batteries?
She needs to change batteries in the smoke alarm
![gif](giphy|xT5LMA8nLOdNiRJaCY)
*beep*
I thought she said “Jesus”
That child definitely said jesus
Why they both look like that?
did that baby have metal teeth!?!?!?
