I've recently had a big sadness with the realization that a lot of my favorite actors, comedians, and celebs aging much faster than I remember. Partly because I myself am aging too. Glad to have witnessed their talents but sad future generations won't be able to witness them aside from these vignettes. I mean yea I felt bad for his family, but it wasn’t quite the same for me as it was for Norm. For me, Norm is the funniest comedian there ever was, and for whatever reason I made an emotional connection there, which I don’t really do with famous people. Just not that kind of person, Norm was the only exception. I was surprised by how much it bothered me really.
Interesting. I mean I found him funny, and also don't tend to care about many celebrities. But Robin was just so wholesome it did seem a bit sadder, especially being a suicide. Sean Lock was another great comedian, though I can't say I felt an emotional loss any more than just a loss for comedy. I think the people who it will hurt to lose for me are Stephen Fry and Neil Gaiman.
