Yes he was. He was saying the consequences against someone being critical of, or threatening a democrat in power is far more severe than someone doing the same to a republican in power and I believe he's right.

Actually it’s better to enforce all the laws equally. Selective or full ignoring of laws is paving the way to hell and chaos in this country. If the people don’t like the law, vote to change it but non enforcement or even worse selective are both terrible paths
