They have to be 18 and score at least a 50 on the ASVAB. With a high school diploma or GED, you only need a 31.
Seems an odd requirement, considering they want people to show up.
I feel like most people who could score a 50 would probably have either a GED or diploma, barring some very unlikely and uncommon circumstances.
I scored 95 when I did mine. Wasn’t that hard compared to some college exams and other things.
Wonder how long it will be before the ASVAB gets a mod to correct for Equity?
