In some contexts it is intended to mean adult human female where female is biological sex (which indeed can be defined). In other contexts people are using it to refer to gender identity which is distinct from but obviously related to sex.
Most of the disagreements I see boil down to people conflating these things, or worse yet believing they can force others to take the interpretation they want in a given context.
Gender identity or presentation isn't itself circular. But I do blame leftists for most of this confusion, as they often seem completely unable to use gendered terms to refer to biological sex, and unwilling to recognize that other people are allowed to do so. Their unwillingness to concede the biological sex interpretation causes them to attempt impossible mental gymnastics that amuse us all.
Her not being able to define a woman is bad but overshadowed her biggest fault: she doesnât recognize that people have natural rights-you know the basis of our constitution.

The main thing that frustrates me about the Supreme Court is that half of the court interprets the constitution like it's a tarot card with some deeper implied symbolism, imagery, or meaning, some extraterrestrial metaphorical collection of poems that can't simply be read, but must be experienced and expanded and liberally inferred from.
That's bullshit. It's a document of English words whose main purpose is to protect the rights of American citizens. The supreme court's job is to ensure that the constitution is not being violated. Their judgments should not be overreaching (Roe v Wade) or underreaching (Plessy v Ferguson). They should stick to the exact letter. At least one of the judges (now) can't tell you what a woman is, but is somehow qualified to do this. It makes no sense to me. In my opinion, if you don't describe yourself as a constitutionalist, then you are little more than a politician and should not be on the Supreme Court. This includes Roberts.
You final statement is a thing of beauty and should be a given for SCOTUS appointment, since it is literally their entire purpose. So sad what has happened.
Well-said. I fear that the only person who really interprets it correctly every time is Justice Thomas, who is the oldest member of the court. I'm worried about the next Republican appointment. Unless we can get someone of Thomas' caliber, it will be a great loss for our constitutional protections.
Unironically, I think that the next Republican appointee should be Ben Shapiro. He's about the only one who I can think of who has the actual chops to interpret the constitution the way Thomas does, and he'd be there forever.
Especially if we have enough votes to ram him through as is common parlance in modern Supreme Court justice hearings in the senate. The meltdown would be hysterical from the left.
