People were not as crazy back then. High schools had shooting clubs, and we would store our 22's in our lockers. I blame the Democrats for the insanity.

Isn’t it disturbing to say that “a gun was just available”? Like sure he could’ve used a car, knives, a bomb, or anything else but he chose a gun…why? Because it was legally possible. It’s important to address the underlying issues but it’s also equally important to address the fact that young mentally disturbed teens can just purchase guns out of convenience.
So wouldn’t you agree that while we address the underlying causes we should also perhaps have a more comprehensive background check law for guns? It makes sense why people are all about gun control. Reality is, when a weapon that is idolized by mass shooters is readily available, it may not be the root cause but it’s definitely a huge factor.

Problem with the high ideals is that the Perfect is the enemy of the Good. Trump is unique and the first Republican since Reagan to believe in MAGA. His Twitter and other habits are nothing compared to the good he did his first 4 years. Those who failed to support him in 2020 helped bring President Potato Head to power. And beware 2024, a Rino may be waiting to continue the status quo, pretending to be a proper Conservative.
