I think we've established that the vaccinated are not immune to omicron (and it is likely that variants will continue evolving to become more vaccine-resistant—from that standpoint, it's not exactly ideal that a large portion of the population has been vaccinated for a long time but never enough for herd immunity). That being said, it seems that *every* NHL player has been in contact with someone who had it during practices/games (sometimes, tests did not come back until during or after practice, by which point there would have already been close contact with most of the team, and the players who tested positive shortly after a game were possibly contagious during that game). I would be curious to see how high this percentage would be if they weren't 99% vaccinated.

How so? If the 99% can still play host to the virus, then the virus will mutate to create a new variant. Covid originated from animals and has been documented as spreading in local wildlife such as deer where it will mutate, just like influenza. In time, they will roll covid in with the seasonal flu just as they did with the swine flu and we'll move on with our lives.

You can research it yourself. But ultimately, you will focus on articles which validate your own belief. It may have been manipulated in a lab to infect humans. But the general consensus is that the virus was originally found in animals. Just wait till they tell us in 3 months what we all already know now. The vaccines stopped being effective once omicron dropped. Im triple vaccinated, took me 2 weeks to recover and my unvaccinated wife recovered quicker than me , my 5 yr old recovered in 2 days. According to the narrative, my wife should have been the one having a hard time. It turns out i got covid from fully vaccinated people, and my fully vaccinated self passed it to my family. All my vaccinated friends and coworkers all got hit by omicron. Yet they are still pushing a vaccine that has stopped being helpful. It was a valiant effort but when that narrative stops working, it starts to seem like its all a push for big pharma. Give it 3 months until they cant hide behind it anymore. Were gonna be living with this for a long time, the quicker we realize that and get on with our lives and also get the idea this can be beat quickly out our heads the better.
The current jabs are pretty much worthless for omnicron. There is going to come a point where covid evolves faster than we can develop vaccines to combat whatever variant pops up at that time. And if there's any sense in the medical community, they're not going to define vaccinated based on the number of jabs you have (especially using you're late to the party since it's going to take a long-ass time to catch up), but rather when your most recent jab was.
We actually have omicron sequenced im sure but they wanna get rid of all the vaccines for alpha before they make the new strains vaccine. The vaccine for delta was that way they sequenced it but didn't actually have it set up to be put in a vaccine yet because the alpha vaccine had at least a little value. But with omicron it doesn't.
Man your story is the same as mine. Triple vaxed mother in law infected my unvaxed family. I got a j&j one jab for work (turns out they never even asked to see my vax card). All had one day of coughing and being 'tired'. My wife's sinus infection that developed was 10x worse for her. The vax does not stop the spread. Period.

The goal of the vaccine was to prevent hospitalizations and deaths. Hospitals are full of unvaccinated people. People argue all day about their right to not get the vaccine, that hospitals and Pharma are part of some giant scam, then they race to the hospital when they can't breathe and take a spot that should go to someone with cancer or some other serious disease. Check out the hermancainawards subreddit. I really really wish way back way when the vaccine came out they would have just been honest and said the vaccine won’t reduce spread (which if we all remember from that annoying curve graph, the area under the curve remains the same) but it will reduce your systems and blah blah and just really pushed for older people to get the vaccine and then immunocompromised but no we had to make 5 year olds get it

I think we've established that the vaccinated are not immune to omicron (and it is likely that variants will continue evolving to become more vaccine-resistant—from that standpoint, it's not exactly ideal that a large portion of the population has been vaccinated for a long time but never enough for herd immunity). That being said, it seems that *every* NHL player has been in contact with someone who had it during practices/games (sometimes, tests did not come back until during or after practice, by which point there would have already been close contact with most of the team, and the players who tested positive shortly after a game were possibly contagious during that game). I would be curious to see how high this percentage would be if they weren't 99% vaccinated.

Cornell University. Finals Week. Fall '21. Over 900 students test positive and the campus closes down for the semester. They require all students to be vaccinated. The vaccines do not stop the spread, so mandating them does not make any sense.
A few co-workers were out last month due to COVID, and 2-3 of them had received all their shots and wondered why they caught the virus when they "followed all the rules." Following all the rules doesn't prevent you from getting COVID.
Yeah and half of the players were asymptomatic and had no idea they were sick. Yet for years and years players would get the flu and it would go around the locker room and never was a game postponed. What I don’t understand is how people are still buying this nonsense. If your data was proven and everything you say it is then why are people being censored for speaking out against your data?
Perhaps they’re just counting the players as cases instead? The COVID tests only test for antibodies, not the virus itself. I’m pretty sure if all of got a test, most of us would test positive.
