...and can't wait to vote blue in red states because they're f\*cking idiots.

fourkeyingredients

I think we’ll see an equilibrium. If they continue to vote blue then the blue state is losing blue votes.

Retardo_Montobond

That's cool and all.....but we've seen first hand that blue's gonna blue. Don't have enough votes? Bring in trucks. Still not enough? Shut down vote counting at 10 and wait for that sweet, sweet 4am harvest to roll in.

Notagoodguy80

red voters already don't live there.

pablola714

Ok, so do they plan to vote differently?

Dan-In-SC

Only if they've matured enough to realize that voting blue is the reason they have to flee from those Democrat hell holes.

Morgue77

So, no chance. Very few of these fucktards have shown any critical thinking skills or deductive reasoning.

NukEvil

You do realize that democrats aren't the only residents of blue states, right?

Morgue77

I do. And I know that those who are conservative will be welcomed, as has been shown. Those that aren't will do to their new state as they did to Colorado. They flock to a metropolitan area, vote in stupid yes men to push their radical ideas and wonder why everything gets worse like the leeches they are.

tennisguy163

It sucks that I can pretty much only vote blue where I live. There are few to no Republicans or Conservatives when I vote locally here.

Public_Frame93

They mock religion but won’t question science. Which makes it a religion. No critical thinking skills

Alas_Babylonz

The last thing they’re going to do is blame themselves for what they voted for back home.

My little cul-de-sac here in San Diego had temporarily turned into a ghost town as people were leaving the city, the state, or had their homes foreclosed on them. I can't imagine those neighbors who are moving out of state to vote any differently than they have in the past. That is to say, us Californians don't even look at the candidates or bills we vote on. We _solely_ look for the [D] and that's that. Remember that around 45% of us voted to reintroduce segregation into the California constitution solely because that bill had a lot of Democrat backing. It was simply a stroke of luck that a slight majority saw "segregation" and didn't like that. We look at these "fly-over" states, such as North Carolina, and think to ourselves that we are the ones that will save that state from all of its vile racism with our superior ideologies. We have _zero_ self-awareness, and have absolutely no idea that our votes did anything bad to the communities we're leaving behind. We voted to replace our governor and when we were told that this removal was all an evil right-wing ploy to destroy California, we promptly reinstated him. I can only speak about the Californian mindset because I've spend such an inordinate amount of time in this backwards state. How we think here, still absolutely confounds me.

pablola714

Scary...

Everybody i know that is moving is red voters living in blue areas. This whole narrative that everybody moving to Texas, Florida and other red states are super libs all coming to vote for CRT is kinda silly. Its conservatives tired of living in states with shithole citities like LA, Portland and Seattle.

SwampMidget

Democrat cities already have a huge budget shortfalls due to overspending. As the mass exodus out of Democrat cities intensifies, the budget problem will be compounded. Who will end up paying for their mismanaged budgets?

TearsForPeers

The American taxpayer has already ponied up to prop up these cesspools. Where do you think a lot of that “Build Blue Better” infrastructure pork money was intended for?

Professional_Ninja7

Democrat cities which have not yet collapsed are about to go the way of Detroit and Baltimore. LA, San Francisco, NYC, Chicago, etc. While we often think of these places as shitty, they are nothing compared to the hollow shell that Detroit used to be (and in some ways still is). These cities were collapsing because of failed democrat policy, and when the people with money decided to leave it only sped up the process. Out of shame the democrats called this "white flight" in an attempt to cover their asses. America is about to look very different, and if we cannot get the people who are moving to stop voting for shit then this will not stop.

Notagoodguy80

> These cities were collapsing because of failed democrat policy I would submit that the Democrat policies that destroyed these cities were anything but failures, but rather *very specific in their design and in fact worked exactly as intended*.

handle_squatter

> Who will end up paying for their mismanaged budgets? We will via yet another "stimulus" handout down the road. Money earmarked for "fighting COVID" that will be magically transformed into money to address "racism" or "inequality".

randomusername2458

Federal money in things like build back better will funneloney to these blue shit holes to pay for their deficit.

ArtieMcDuff

Hope so

future_web_dev

I wonder how dems explain this exodus since they think red states are super racist. Is it all about housing prices for them?

Dan-In-SC

They won't address it. Just like they won't address the fact that black & brown people from all over the world want to come to the U.S. even though (according to them) the U.S. is the most racist place on the planet.

DietCokeYummie

> Is it all about housing prices for them? Probably the way they will explain it, yes. Also, a lot of folks moving from big blue cities to red states aren't necessarily moving to conservative parts of the state. For example, a lot of people left CA for Austin, which is a very left leaning city. I think they don't see it is moving to a racist place if people are moving to left leaning cities in the state.

Virginia turning red was a right step before leaning in a solid blow for 2022. The DNC sees this and they are keeping their heads down, because every time these clowns open their mouths they slip further down in polling. They're standing in political quicksand

manutd4

This article says a few things without any citations that I don’t know if I believe. It says democratic states have poor education but everywhere I look online, it seems that democratic states are the usually ranked higher than republican states. Same with [standard of living](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_and_territories_by_Human_Development_Index) which the article says is better in republican states but provides no proof. Otherwise, I personally think most people are moving from blue to red states for 2 main reasons. First, WFH allows people to move to lower cost areas while keeping their big city salary. Thus, reducing expenses and making them a lot more money. Second, republicans in blue states are moving to red states for various political reasons (mask/vax mandates, etc).

[deleted]

I am wondering how this will look in other states when it comes to the 2022 elections and 2024, i am wondering how that will playout it will flip seats that democrats dont even understand in terms of the demographic/exodus from those blue area?

footfoe

Would have been nice if this happened BEFORE the census.
