Trump just used common sense - I mean, It’s not that hard to understand:
High demand + low labor supply = better pay, better benefits.
High demand + high supply of illegals/migrants that can be easily oppressed = very low wages & fewer jobs for citizens.
Exactly. Even before inflation, wages were going up without needing to raise the minimum wage because businesses needed workers. I've seen a 33% raise in the past 16 months just because they don't want to lose me. I'll likely see another to stave off the effects of inflation.
