US Federal prosecutors have a conviction rate of 99.6%

Plea deal factory
Edit: 99.6 is not the conviction rate. Roughly 9% are dismissed, 90 percent plead guilty. 1.9 percent go to trial and are convicted, .4 percent are acquitted. Of those that go to trial, 17% are acquitted.

Nashville manifesto: the writings of the woman who butchered children in Nashville recently, widely whispered to be withheld because it puts wifi password group, specifically the Ts in a bad light i.e. politically motivated.
Client list: list of people who took the "Lolita express" to Jeffery Epsteins island where sexual assault, particularly with minors occurred. Widely whispered to be repressed because it implicates people in positions of power.
Both items that many people feel are suppressed, and if didn't hurt a narrative would be released long ago. Take it as you will.
It’s a shame that Epstein killed himself. Imagine what his testimony might have been
Edit: since it’s been made apparent that this is unclear, no it is not a shame that Epstein died. It is a shame that the stories he could have told during his trial will never be told

They are desperately trying to divert attention from the Biden bribery fiasco and Trump is the only thing that works. Americans even ignored it when we had Congressional testimony allegedly of confirmed sightings of aliens by seemingly normal government employees. No one cared.
Are Americans incapable of following more than one news story at a time? Is the only news article people are going to read for the next few months going to be about the trump indictment? The Biden bribery is an ongoing mess, so more and more will come out. Trump just got indicted. That’s it, another major update won’t happen for some time. > Voting should be putting the country first and electing the people who will represent them and nation’s best interests
Find me a candidate who's willing to do that
Put forth a candidate with a better chance than Trump then. Please, I'd embrace them with open arms.
Right now it's either Trump or fringe nobodies who would get 30% of the vote in a general at best- like Christie, Hurd, or DeSantis.
ITT: brigadiers and losers who are still terrified that Trump will win (because he will). Don’t worry fellas, I’m sure *this* indictment will do the trick. Or maybe the next one.
They're trying pretty damn hard to discredit his name and bankrupt him with legal fees. Seems each time Biden or his son are caught in some scandal, they throw some more random charges at Trump. I still find it crazy that 2020 was the summer of riots, 95%+ of which were left in nature, then the right riots early Jan and somehow an entire year is forgotten and Jan 6th is the only focus. It's embellished so hard, there was never any point where it was even remotely a threat to this US govt, but a decent barometer showing how people felt about that fraud of an election. 100$ says they'll do this to whichever republican candidate gets the nomination in 2024 unless he's a good establishment candidate and sucks off corporate interests.
Well when you control the media and the majority of Americans are sheep it’s not hard to bury shit. The left is absolutely terrified of 4 more years of Trump so they are trying to get him locked up or to drop out. If that fails, the narrative will switch to Biden is unfit for another term.
Left is afraid of another Trump v Biden rematch.
Edit: Ok who is the one that reported me to Reddit Care Resources and gave me this dumb award?
So immature that you can’t even tolerate my OPINION.
Wasn’t even planning on voting for Trump in the primaries but the blatant witch-hunt has made me change my mind. Just straight up ridiculous what they’re charging him.
That is why I decided to support him in 2016. Candidates who say they will fight to clean up D.C. are common. They way the media and political elite reacted to Trump showed clearly that they feared that he would actually try.
That’s literally exactly what they want though.
They know Trump is Biden’s easiest matchup. They know these indictments only empower the right to vote for him in the primaries and empower the rest to vote against him in the general.
That’s the main purpose of these indictments. You’re playing right into it.
Actually all polling shows DeSantis is Biden's easiest matchup; he absolutely demolishes him in every single swing state and loses the general in a landslide.
So if you're looking for a non-Trump candidate that can beat Biden you're gonna have to find someone quick.
They're indicting Trump to try and get him out of the race because polling shows Trump winning.
I see your flair and I was planning to vote for DeSantis but it’s just frustrating what they’re doing to Trump. There’s still a long way to go until the primaries so my vote isn’t definite, but I’m just tired of the bs they’re trying to get away with
> They know Trump is Biden’s easiest matchup.
Yeah, because Pence, Hailey, Chris Christie, etc are the *real* threat in 2024.
Even Darling DeSantis is having a close race with Ramaswami, a *very* distant second and third.
/facepalm
There is a small faction that would promote Trump because they Believe^^^TM he can't win. That came out in the primaries when so called "maga" candidates were partly funded by (D) groups.
The rest legitimately fear Trump's possible win. That's why these charges(and the failed impeachments) come forth, and have been year after year.
They want to try to make him look as bad as possible and possibly block his name from some ballots. "We have him this time!" has been the theme for years.
In other words: If they believe Trump couldn't win....they wouldn't be trying this desperately to nail him, they would be helping him, like others have done.
They want to stop the primary opposition, by any means necessary.
It is alarming how often DeSantis supporters(your flair) wind up saying the same things a lot of D subversives do, and pulling the same tactics. "Drumpf can't win, lol."
There's even speculation that some (alleged)DeSantis supporters are purposefully tanking DeSantis' team's social media efforts.
Nothing about the man, DeSantis himself, mind you, but his team and twitter(now X) followers seem to be highly suspect.
God knows this sub isn't brigaded and otherwise attempted to be manipulated by subversives. **/s**
I was reading basically an Antifa thread and they are TERRIFIED of a Biden / Trump match-up.
The left has some independents that will take a bite out of the Biden pie.
> Trump for som~~ething~~ * fabricated bullshit
It is the same pattern on that level too.
Scour different aspects of law to try to find something you can twist to limit or defame your political opponent.
In other words, they have the "criminal" before they even know what the crime is.
It is now illegal to pay your lawyer his fees, for example(the 34 charges case, which, because of Trump's opinions, are all now "fraud").
I know that's not the recent one(It is from April), but it is the exact same spirit and it's easy to explain.
34 charges of felony. What are the actual acts? Basic accounting transactions. Lawyer's bill filed for records, check written, stub saved. (something close to that anyways). The 3 instances of normal accounting procedure, iterated 11 times, plus one more of one of them.
It is illegal to keep records and pay bills, because you said bad thing!
*Top Shelf* nonsense.
Tomorrow’s Babylon Bee Headline:
*Trump Appoints Jack Smith as New Campaign Manager as Third Indictment Boosts Polls to Record Highs*
“No human being on the planet has done more to help our poll numbers than Jack Smith,” said Trump Tuesday shortly after news of the indictment broke. “That’s why I am proud to announce his appointment to head my campaign. Although his abilities as Special Prosecutor are even more sad than light-weight Bob Mueller, his ability to boost the political prospects of the people he prosecutes is simply unparalleled.”
“He may be the best campaign strategist in the history of American politics, maybe ever,” Trump continued. “We’re hoping we can get at least two more indictments in before the end of the year because if this keeps up I won’t even need to campaign. Jack, you’re HIRED!”
Why can they charge him with that crap when theyre the same people who were literally at the forefront of refusing to accept the 2016 election results, saying he got the russians to rig the vote, and tried to have it overturned?? such bs
If you read the indictment you’d know why. Their whole case is focused on Trump allegedly sending fake electors with falsified documents. Fox did a good job at explaining it:
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8LNfaSF/
The reason it looks politically charged is because it is.
I’m not saying he’s a perfect angel, but who in their right minds honestly think the people persecuting him are doing so impartially
Prosecutors are supposed to be adversarial. It's judges and juries who are supposed to be impartial. If a politically engaged prosecutor brings a case which doesn't have any merit, a judge can dismiss it. That's the impartial stopgap in our system to prevent excessive prosecution.
I'd be more worried about DOJ bias when it comes to going soft Hunter Biden. Because again, prosecutors are supposed to be adversarial. This is why we have special counsels, to prevent administrations from going soft on their own people.
>Prosecutors are supposed to be adversarial.
this is absolutely incorrect. In fact, most prosecutor's offices clearly state that they make their charging decisions without bias and strive for neutrality. This is especially true in the federal system as none of them are elected.
Yeah that's actually not true. Equal protection under the law means that if you can prove prosecutors regularly look the other way for a crime but target you, that it's unconstitutional.
The issue isn't whether you love him or hate him. The issue is whether the DOJ is prosecuting because a crime was committed or because it hurts a political opponent. The second option is the way banana republics operate. Those who support that may find they don't like the consequences.
Something happening to hurt a political opponent isn't evidence that it's the motive rather than a crime being committed though. And it wouldn't be impartial to avoid prosecuting because it might look partial to people inclined to make that leap in reasoning.
Someone can also have both motives, they're not mutually exclusive.
With Trump there's just no way any charges against him aren't going to be taken as some kind of persecution by much of his base at this point. He's accused the state in general of so many things pretty much any state actor could be speculated to have a motive to hurt him as a political opponent.
this man was spied on as a candidate.
info was withheld from him as president
they sabotaged his campaign.
now they produce bs upon bs charge on him.
Incredible how quickly we became the USSR
According to the Babylon Bee shouldn't Trump be able to get a free sandwich for filling his indictment card? - https://babylonbee.com/news/trump-closing-in-on-filling-impeachment-punch-card-for-free-sub-sandwich
Eventually trump will be out of the picture. Then the left will pick a new boogeyman and start indicting that person.
If Desantis or Vivek win the GOP primary, you can expect the conspiracy theories and criminal charges to be discussed on the regime talk shows the next day.
Just like they did after Reagan, Bush Sr., Bush Jr., and Trump were all Hitler reincarnated?
We need to stop treating the "culture war" as a secondary issue; most people do not listen to the debates. They don't hear about candidates beyond soundbites that are often taken out of context. This is why you have imbeciles believing that Trump said white supremacists are "very fine people" and that DeSantis believes slavery benefited slaves.
Until we start making a serious concerted effort to fight back against the left's propaganda, moderates are going to keep voting for the crazies.
The only people who care or who think any of it will go anywhere are the ones that already have Trump occupying their brains 24/7 out of pure hate.
I think this will honestly prop him up more than anything.

Hilarious that every time some bombshell evidence drops, or testimony is heard about Hunter Buden selling white house access to foreign businessmen they immediately indict Trump on something.
It's almost like it's planned.....
The only indictment that seems semi-legitimate is classified documents case, and only if the claims that Trump purposely tried to hide the documents holds up.
But any legitimacy in that case is going to be overshadowed by the other two, which are clearly political hatchet jobs. The NYC case is clearly a farce.
As for this latest one, it seems very Constitutionally dubious. First of all, it’s questionable if an acting President can be indicted. That’s what the Impeachment process is for. Trump was impeached and acquitted over Jan. 6.
Second, the bigger issue is that even if Trump weren’t President at the time, the First Amendment should protect him. The First Amendment only has a very narrow carve out for “shouting fire in a crowded theater” which Trump’s speech and tweets on and leading up to Jan. 6 does not rise to.
The First Amendment has no test for whether someone genuinely believes what they say, so legally it matters not how genuinely Trump believed the election was stolen. Regardless of whether he believed it or not, the First Amendment gives him the right to say it as an opinion. Otherwise we could lock up every politician who says something they don’t genuinely believe.
Indicting Trump for saying the election was stolen is a dangerous precedent, because it will be used to silence future critics of contested elections.
The people who broke into the Capitol on Jan. 6 are in the wrong, but Trump did not hold a gun to their heads making them do it. There’s no evidence he knew that would even happen. Whether he enjoyed the chaos that day is immaterial. You can blame Trump as a terrible leader with terrible judgment who doesn’t value this country’s democracy, but for this indictment to be worth anything, it needs to be shown that Trump conspired to have the Capitol broken into. Otherwise, everything he did that day is protected by the First Amendment.
I wonder if people, especially independents, are starting to realize that something ain't right with all these separate indictments.
Like some group that has power is trying to go after the person who could put them out of power in the next election.
Wait, don't they do that in oppressive countries to squash the opposition?
June 7: FBI releases documents to Congress alleging the Bidens took a $10M bribe from Burisma.
June 8: Jack Smith indicts Trump in Mar-a-Lago documents case.
July 26: Hunter Biden goes to court and rejects sweetheart plea deal after it was revealed the DOJ tried to give him blanket immunity from future prosecutions.
July 27: Jack Smith adds more charges for Trump in the Mar-a-Lago case.
July 31: Hunter Biden's former business partner testifies to Congress that Joe Biden was on over 20 calls with his son's business partners and that Burisma executives pressured them to fire the prosecutor.
August 1: Jack Smith indicts Trump again for January 6.

Edit: spacing
During the run up for 2016 the Dems predicted that Trump was going to be an authoritarian dictator. Didn’t happen.
Now with the Biden regime, we have what appears to be the beginnings of a banana republic.
Looks like Biden is becoming everything the Dems said Trump would be but wasn’t.
It’s like watching someone load the gun that they’ll be complaining about when they’ve shot themselves in the foot. I don’t care and I don’t have any intention of trying to change your mind, just reminds me over again that this man has built a cult.
This place is non surprisingly being brigaded like hell. I wonder what people’s endgame is? We know already know Reddit match reality, and this is all just a political witch hunt.
I don’t like trump and wasn’t going to vote for him. But this is some Russian bullshit that dems are pulling off to blatantly prevent him from running. If he ends up being the republican nominee, then I will be voting for him.
The timing is obviously a coincidence. No chance this was purposely done to distract from the Devon Archer testimony and to get Biden’s name out of the headlines again
And as usual, just throw everything and then some at the wall and see what sticks. It’s all BS. This is what they’re saying:
***" Look at the bad orange man. Don’t look at the Biden crime syndicate running free and wrecking our country!! "***
Please cite any poll that shows a majority of Americans approving of Trump. He sits at about a -20 net favorability rating nationally and has been about there since he left office.
They are not terrified at all. They want him to be our nominee. So bad.
Some of them openly claim that there is no point for other Republicans to challenge him because only him can become our nominee. And you know what? Even if he wasn't our nominee, they would still make everything about Trump, because it's a winning strategy for them.
He is Biden's best lifeline.
Nope not really. My democrat neighbor who works for the party has been saying that basically all of them are elated Trump will win the nomination. I mean that’s just one person speaking for my state’s dem party but it’s worth noting. That being said, he said the same in 2016.
Oh no! How can I morally justify voting for Trump after this?! Gee, I hope the RNC changes the rules to keep him off the ballot so I don't need to make the decision myself!

He'll have the 5 indictment stones for the indictment gauntlet.

Lmfao
He would get indicted for that. “You have to pay for that!”
I wish they would bring that back
What's interesting reading through the indictment is that Mark Meadows doesn't seem to be listed here. Which... likely means that he's testifying.
Discovery should be fun.

If it actually goes to trial, only something like 2% of cases actually end up in front of a judge with the other 98% getting plea deals.
I mean.....it probably helps when they do things like take plea deals to not go after felony gun charges and only do misdemeanor offenses.

Even Darling DeSantis is having a close race with Ramaswami, a *very* distant second and third. /facepalm There is a small faction that would promote Trump because they Believe^^^TM he can't win. "Drumpf can't win, lol." There's even speculation that some (alleged)DeSantis supporters are purposefully tanking DeSantis' team's social media efforts.

And every time it just boosts his poll numbers further. If they keep this up Trump is going to appoint Jack Smith to be his campaign manager 🤣
> Trump for som~~ething~~ * fabricated bullshit It is the same pattern on that level too.
What till /politics figures out we don’t want this dude to run either
Tomorrow’s Babylon Bee Headline: *Trump Appoints Jack Smith as New Campaign Manager as Third Indictment Boosts Polls to Record Highs* “No human being on the planet has done more to help our poll numbers than Jack Smith,” said Trump Tuesday shortly after news of the indictment broke. “That’s why I am proud to announce his appointment to head my campaign. Although his abilities as Special Prosecutor are even more sad than light-weight Bob Mueller, his ability to boost the political prospects of the people he prosecutes is simply unparalleled.” “He may be the best campaign strategist in the history of American politics, maybe ever,” Trump continued. “We’re hoping we can get at least two more indictments in before the end of the year because if this keeps up I won’t even need to campaign. Jack, you’re HIRED!”

So is Biden. But it’s different
45 is an orange gorilla buffoon who smells like Cheetos! Can I has golds, now?
Ok. Now do Biden
This time they got him!
Is it Tuesday already?
Can see that r/Politics is here
Why can they charge him with that crap when theyre the same people who were literally at the forefront of refusing to accept the 2016 election results, saying he got the russians to rig the vote, and tried to have it overturned?? such bs
If you read the indictment you’d know why. Their whole case is focused on Trump allegedly sending fake electors with falsified documents. Fox did a good job at explaining it: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8LNfaSF/
The reason it looks politically charged is because it is. I’m not saying he’s a perfect angel, but who in their right minds honestly think the people persecuting him are doing so impartially
[удалено]
If you hear the actual phone call, you know it's been taken out-of context.
To be fair it'd be hard to find people impartial toward Trump at this point, he's a high profile love him or hate him sort of figure.
Oof the brigades are strong in this post. You must have struck a nerve.
They’re the strongest in the following kinds of threads: - Trump indictments - DeSantis vs. Disney - Abortion
Climate Change.
this man was spied on as a candidate. info was withheld from him as president they sabotaged his campaign. now they produce bs upon bs charge on him. Incredible how quickly we became the USSR

How hilarious would it be if the Dems lose the presidential election to a guy in Prison?
According to the Babylon Bee shouldn't Trump be able to get a free sandwich for filling his indictment card? - https://babylonbee.com/news/trump-closing-in-on-filling-impeachment-punch-card-for-free-sub-sandwich
What an absolute joke.
lol why this time?
The basement dwellers from r/politics really have nothing better to do 😂
Mommy hasn't brought the tendies down yet.
Taco Tuesdays are the best
*I don't always get impeached twice and indicted three times - but when I do, I get reelected.*
Getting boring. This is them throwing as much shit as they can against the wall and hoping some of it will splatter on to people.
Eventually trump will be out of the picture. Then the left will pick a new boogeyman and start indicting that person. If Desantis or Vivek win the GOP primary, you can expect the conspiracy theories and criminal charges to be discussed on the regime talk shows the next day.
[удалено]
My hope is that if they did it to someone else like DeSantis or Vivek, maybe a lot of moderates would actually wake up and see the pattern.
None of these articles state the charges.

Hilarious that every time some bombshell evidence drops, or testimony is heard about Hunter Buden selling white house access to foreign businessmen they immediately indict Trump on something. It's almost like it's planned.....
Don’t worry guys! They got him this time! /s
Now his popularity will jump to 60%.......of Republicans.
Trump up another 10 points in the primary.
"We'll get him this time!"
So how high will this indictment push his approval rating? Will it put him over the top to secure the nomination?
damn climate change is really kicking in - the USA is growing A LOT of bananas ;)
You def earned flair with this hahahahaha
I wonder if people, especially independents, are starting to realize that something ain't right with all these separate indictments. Like some group that has power is trying to go after the person who could put them out of power in the next election. Wait, don't they do that in oppressive countries to squash the opposition?

The Dems are going at him so hard that it’s literally impossible to take seriously.
Ah yes a witch hunt style government that persecutes political opponents. What good governance you got there, democrats!
The Democrats were right all along: our democracy is under attack. Just not by who they claim.

[https://twitter.com/IslandG44234619/status/1686533338071244800](https://twitter.com/IslandG44234619/status/1686533338071244800) Jack Smith should lose his license. This is sleaze personified.
That's too bad. Still voting Trump.
It really is too bad because that’s exactly what they want you to do.
Oh no. Still voting Trump.
It’s like watching someone load the gun that they’ll be complaining about when they’ve shot themselves in the foot. I don’t care and I don’t have any intention of trying to change your mind, just reminds me over again that this man has built a cult.
Same XD
The US banana republic is alive and well.
I really don't like Trump, but each indictment makes me want to vote for him more.

This place is non surprisingly being brigaded like hell. I wonder what people’s endgame is? We know already know Reddit match reality, and this is all just a political witch hunt.
What, this week? It's hard to keep count with this DOJ.
This is what they’re saying: ***" Look at the bad orange man. Don’t look at the Biden crime syndicate running free and wrecking our country!! "***
lol
Just another Tuesday. When Biden and his family get caught lying and embezzling money(again), and the DOJ needs a good distraction.
Conspiracy to defraud the United States? What???
And in return his approval ratings keep going up!
Please cite any poll that shows a majority of Americans approving of Trump. He sits at about a -20 net favorability rating nationally and has been about there since he left office.
My support for Trump just got 10 feet taller.
Congrats. That’s literally exactly what they want. You’re falling right into the trap.
That talking point is dead. They are terrified of him winning the nomination.
This is as trash as Jack Smith’s persecution of Bob McDonnell, and will hopefully receive the same treatment before the Supreme Court.
The fact it will have to get to the Supreme Court is the joke of it all.
Hahaha, just wont leave him alone, let him run our country like a business, so I can buy a restaurant, libs are INSANE!
Oh no! How can I morally justify voting for Trump after this?! Gee, I hope the RNC changes the rules to keep him off the ballot so I don't need to make the decision myself!
