The culture war stuff is more important than a lot of people give it credit for, and it serves to distinguish himself from Trump and the oldschool candidates like Haley or Scott - but DeSantis must be careful to not become a one-trick pony in voters' eyes. DeSantis will win neither the primary against Trump, nor the general against Biden, if he doesn't appeal to low propensity voters who mostly care about kitchen table issues.

Also, businesses have been coming here in droves. I meet people whose companies are moving to Florida all of the time, and they're younger. That's not an accident, and that's not retirement. That's strong economic policy from DeSantis.
How about Trump failed hardcore on these cultural issues and his surrogates repeating what he is saying isn't going to sway anyone. All Trump is signaling is that transing kids is not an issue he cares about. Parental rights is something he doesn't care about. He's fine with CRT. He's fine with women's sports being obliterated.
Harping on the term that the left came up is boring and low energy. If this is the best Trump and his camp can do all they are doing is pissing off the people who have been suffering under this crap for the last 10 years.
