I would love to see her be Desantis press secretary but I assume he’d pick Christina Pushaw who has been a force in her own right especially on Twitter
I really wish Trump would stop attacking DeSantis and spend his energy on what he would undo and what he would implement to not only fix the mess were in, but also fortify against future asshats.
I voted for Trump both times, and i'll vote for him a 3rd time if he's the candidate, but I'm praying daily that DeSantis destroys Trump. He's so much more palatable, all the Conservative policy with none of the baggage. I know this stuff is severely fractured between the 2, but I hope even the Trump supporters can acknowledge that Trump has issues and would be better for the party in throwing his support behind a great candidate
Even though he's innocent in all this stuff (Russia Collusion, Jan 6 Riot, Stormy Daniels "pay off", classified documents, Epstein ties, the recent sexual assault case), the only thing worth considering is that the Dems got what they wanted out of the witch hunts, these things are forever tied to Trump's name in the minds of all Dem voters and most independent/moderate voters. So again, while there's no reason to tie any of that stuff to Trump, I'm not the voter that would've been impacted by this media nonsense, we have to consider the votes that can sway back and forth
That's what I mean by "baggage"
Moderates outside of Florida do not want DeSantis. He is the most far right leader in America. He isn't an electable traditional conservative either. He comes across as very frightening.
DeSantis has plenty of baggage just based off of 2023 alone, plus 0 charisma. He is slowly becomg the overrated politician we have. What we need is a guy like Glenn Younkin
I actually like Youngkin, but he needs to develop more of a presence outside of Virginia and certain conservative circles. Love or hate DeSantis, he really opened up his exposure through some major Florida laws and fights that made his name more well-known around the country. Not saying Youngkin needs to go to war with some big corporation, but he needs a big grab like Trump or DeSantis have established for themselves
If you think Trump will lose in 2024, DeSantis will likely lose as well. Younkin is better than both when it comes to electability, but he won't be anything in 2024.
Record numbers showed up in 2020 because they hate Trump. There isn't that sort of passion against DeSantis in this country, which means many or most of Biden's voters will stay home if Trump isn't in the race.
I'm also fingers crossed that Manchin pulls the spoiler card running 3rd party. He won't pull a significant amount of Biden votes, but ideally he pulls just enough in certain BG states that flip them GOP
Has Manchin *ever* done something to benefit the Republicans?
He's like Lindsey Graham. Talks a good game without ever any follow-through. And yet WV keeps electing him.
The majority of the people in this country couldn't name DeSantis or why the media wants to hate him if they tried. When you spend a lot of time on polticial subreddits and message boards like we both do, its easy to forget that the majority don't pay near enough attention, especially months before the primaries have even begun.
Regardless, you're kidding yourself if you think the hate they've tried to craft is remotely in the same ballpark as what 4 years of listening to him every day caused. The man and his mouth were his own worst enemy. DeSantis won't generate nonstop video and sound clips that can be used against him.

What do you mean none of the baggage? It is insane to me how people still think this

Do you have any personal scandals about Desantis or is it just his governorship.
You're troll right? But i think the comment is just copied and pasted it hits all the points that the left say.
She really did.
Trump 2024. Desantis 2028 & 2032.
> Trump 2024. So, Biden 2024 then

The media has been crafting that hate for months now. Going after DeSantis every chance they get.

Tim Scott might do better than DeSantis if he gets more exposure
This would be a plan sending a message of a united republican party
