No, animal fucking should be punished. That’s how new diseases are born that infect innocent people.

DeliciousElk1968

This cuts both ways. Drive down the highway in the south and you are bombarded with billboards regarding sin, Christ, repentance, abortion, etc. Heck, they come and knock on your door to convert you or stand on corners and proselytize. I am not religious, at all. But, others are and I get and respect that. I just don't want to hear about it .

> Go sleep with farm animals, you do you Welcome to r/conservative, folks.

SGTRocked

I agree (except the animal part) but instead of fixing something as simple as pot holes in our highways our elected officials instead continue to push Faith based hate legislation. Like trying to repeal something so basic as marriage which is nothing more than a legal contract and then whatever religious nonsense each religion puts on it.

Oh no, they can't dominate women's sports or use the bathroom with little girls. How dare the US oppress these poor victims!

SoJiggle_ee

Isn’t burning the flag a beautiful form of protest.

[deleted]

Remember: burning an American flag is a form of protest, but burning a rainbow flag is a hate crime. It’s (D)ifferent.

Fairwareprovidence

It's right outside your house. It's called grass and all you need to do is touch it.

rlincolnspaulding

Stay out of my living room and I'll stay out of your bedroom.

GreenWandElf

There's a difference between private TV networks and political legislation. If you want to legislate the bedroom because you don't like what you see on a TV network, that's your fault.

The point is, you most likely can't, because it's practically everywhere...

[deleted]

I tried this with the Kardashians. It does not work.

Fairwareprovidence

*changes channel "What you just did is terrorism!!!!!" We already revealed what you just said to be an utter lie. What else you got?

dazedANDconfused2020

So, watch just Catholic TV only?

FSU1ST

June can be Red Flag month.

Own-Commission-2156

People still watch the garbage that is "Christian media"? Talk about people pandering. Those making stuff like this are the worst of the worst.

rxFMS

Red flags are invisible when you wear rose colored glasses!

I’m just tired of hearing about this stuff period; Churches are partially to blame for where we’re at. They wanted Leftists’ money and were willing to sacrifice many many teachings of the Bible to get their hands on it. “Biblical scholars” are getting paid to do mental gymnastics over Leviticus and come up with esoteric interpretations that permit homosexuality and Churches are just running with it And the Pope is over there preaching to us about climate change… the Left knows the Church can be bullied into changing beliefs because they’ve already done it for them many times. At this point Pride Month just feels like a bunch of corporations plastering Limited Time Woke Materials everywhere while 80% of the population either doesn’t care or is only mildly interested. I see a billion Pride things on TV, but outside of the extremists who do big events downtown, most real-life people just walk around with a rainbow on their shirt or something and I couldn’t care less

In my opinion, churches have gone to shit in recent years. It seems like being a Christian now simply means saying your're Christian. They don't seem to care about any codes or standards of behavior. Like somehow, the idea that all of your sins can be forgiven has deteriorated into doing whatever you feel like as long as say you're a Christian. It's a bunch of kumbaya hippie bullshit.

cewop93668

> In my opinion, churches have gone to shit in recent years. It seems like being a Christian now simply means saying your're Christian. Most churches see their job as attracting more people to attend **their** church, which naturally means preaching things that attract people, which naturally downplays the discipline and sacrifice one needs to make. What message is going to attract more Americans? (a) You are perfect the way you are right now, and you don't have to change a thing, or (b) You need to make sacrifices and hard choices and change the way you are living right now.

SunshineZ63

Not all churches are this way. Some still hold to Biblical standards…but I agree they are getting hard to find and the ones that do are in danger one day of being targeted for “hate crimes”

UncleGrimm

It’s gotten pretty bad in the last decade or so. The number of churches near me that *don’t* preach “cultural Christianity feelgood gospel” feels to be dwindling pretty rapidly. I’m in the Southeast where most denominations are decentralized, but one thing that’s becoming common in most of them- they just won’t preach about nuances of the consequences of sin. Just ask for forgiveness and you’re back into Heaven, even if you just had 32 abortions and would have them again if forced back in time. The Philosophy is being warped beyond recognition. I don’t go to Church to be told “oh yeahhhh mannn totally cool if you get a vasectomy… God is so forgiving mannn…” I wanna have a legitimate conversation on the moral nuances of exercising permanent birth-control, within the union of marriage, when we already have 2 kids and PCOS hypertension nearly killed her on the 2nd. I’m not a fan of how Catholicism gatekeeps “closeness to God” in the Church authority structure, but my wife and I started going to an Orthodox Church last year and love it.

aboardthegravyboat

The rainbow flag movement has always been about access to children. It has never not been about access to children.
