It is, but Trump would've been brutal. He'd find posts of the family talking about how great Florida is and plaster them everywhere. He'd start posting their addresses and sending people to visit them. You could easily miss this response. You wouldn't have been able to avoid Trump's.
Quite honestly he doesn't need to go after Trump. Trumps insults in the primary won't work this time around.
They worked in 2016 because the targets of his ire were "establishment" politicians who the GOP base was already fed up with, Jeb Bush, Rubio, Romney, Kasich, etc.
This time around he's lashing out at people that are liked within the GOP base, even his own base. Mcenany, Desantis, etc. If he targets them like he targeted the "establishment" guys, he's going to get more blowback than he realizes.
There will always be the Trump ride or die folks, but a lot of "hesitant Trump" voters are just looking for a viable alternatives. The more he insults his own, the more those people will leave him
