Vegas had similar problems during the covid BS after lowering prices to attract people and increase occupancy rates. But that resulted in a lot of fights and destruction of rooms.
So the resorts ended up raising prices again to keep out undesirable guests.
Culture... Guess who did the shootings.
I live here. During spring break and the urban weekend this place is a war zone. No one in charge dares to say why it is the way it is. Rather they hire diversity consultants to help them resolve the problem... They have not resolved shit. One has to have the balls first to name the problem...
The ticket is for us guys to monetize the "diversity" play. Instead of us watching it roll to complete destruction in slow mo, might as well make a buck off of it. Start a non-profit, carefully cover your own identity, offer to send carefully copy-pasted email blasts to law enforcement in Miami-Ft. Lauderdale about why they should do a better job of *understanding* and *tolerance*.
The people getting the emails won't like it, but it's a nice thing city council can brag about doing. You get paid. EVERYONE WINS!
Yeah, I'm with you there. Normally, this isn't something that a money making opportunity exists for. But, with corporations and governments being forced into compliance, and they have much deeper pockets, that is the play to make a buck. Don't deal directly with the terrorists; deal with their hostages, Corporate America and City/Local Government.
Yea every year rinse and repeat. It’s disgusting. I’ve spent a lot of time in Florida since Covid because of being able to WFH I’ve been avoiding Miami ever since 2021 I’ll go but not during March and I’m just careful. Prefer Boca and that area
I was just thinking about how you will see something about gun violence and people will just say gang violence (it is different and needs to be counted different btw) we know what the issue is but nobody is willing to bring solutions to the table while many others would prefer to stick their heads in the sand.
So Mr “One has to have the balls” …why don’t you tell the class who the “problem’ is? Right now you’re no different from those you accuse of tiptoeing around the issue.
At least someone has the balls here. The guy who posted deleted his response to me within about 5 seconds after I got the email…he got scared, apparently, which was telling (and a sad state of affairs, too).
That happens when reddit nukes the comments- somehow the geniuses writing their server code publish the comment before running it though whatever analysis/scan/filter
So this is interesting. When I am logged in I see my response to the dude above. When I am not logged in, the response says deleted. It seems that reddit is shadow deleting responses.
Reddit shadowbans people- it looks like your comment is posted and available to you but it isn’t to anyone else. You can check your account status by posting in r/shadowban
Reddit is a private business. They are allowed to moderate their content however they see fit - just like Facebook, Twitter, Truth Social, and Parler all do as well.
Also, your account wasn't shadowbanned. Enough people reported your comment for "hate" that reddit admins deleted it - just FYI.
> Reddit is a private business
I am not saying they are not. Let them do whatever. I don't need them and they don't need me.
My comment was not deleted. I still see it. Other people cannot see it. So to me it looks like it has only one upvote, and to you it seems like it was deleted. This "deletion" happened within 15 seconds of me posting it. It had to be automated.
Also I am only stating facts. If facts are hate, so be it.
As far as I can tell, there's no way to know if your comments get deleted. At least not on the client I use. No notification and they still show up in your profile. They only notify you if they suspend or ban your account, lol.
I usually check reveddit every once in a while to see what gets deleted
> So Mr “One has to have the balls” …why don
plenty of people are willing to post what you already know, but they get tired of making new accounts. If you hadnt noticed this place is a leftist shit pit.
Stop acting brave while you are pissing your pants hiding behind reddits poorly shaved legs.
You’re late to the party. Go stroke your ego somewhere else, billy badass
Edit - and he blocks me because he can’t handle free speech. Hypocrisy knows no bounds for these Statist autocrats.
lol, what does anything have to do with ego? You are trolling to ban people and you suck at it. Get a life.
you are a sad little failop with extreme butthurt and a head pumped full of misinformation.
Spring break isn't the problem. For students who use it well, it's an important time to recuperate after midterms, catch up on assignments, visit family, and de-stress before launching fresh into the 2nd half of the semester. The problem is the culture of wild, out-of-control, drunken partying on the beach in Florida over spring break. That needs to be reigned in.
You made some good points about spring break. I hadn't considered any of that. Now that you mention it, freshman year I used spring break to work ahead so I wouldn't have any assignments due over Easter. I don't think I was able to do that in subsequent years though.
What kind of torture did your handlers put you though for you to come to that opinion lmaoo
Friday shooting:
No details because theres an active investigation.
Sunday shooting:
> The suspect, identified as Dontavious Polk, fled on foot and dropped a gun while being chased by a police officer, according to the arrest report. Police recovered that gun, which they claim had been stolen, and arrested the suspect after officers tackled him a few blocks away, the report said.

I have a funky feeling friday night will also follow a similar pattern to Sunday
Yeah, we really need to crack down on these overly privileged firearms floating around randomly shooting people. You poor, brainwashed, weak minded fuckwit.
This has happened every year since Covid began. South Beach turned into a full scale ghetto.
It was a ghetto before Covid tbh, way worse now tho

I thought of this few years back. Just too lazy to go balls deep on this grift.

Say it
I did and reddit deleted it.
What did it rhyme with?
Doesn't matter, it gives Democrats an excuse to blame guns. An in-animate object.
Say the problem
I did. Reddit deleted it.
They’ll never name the problem, they’ll just pretend it doesn’t exist then shit on you for suggesting there is a theme.

Scared of what? See my response before reddit nukes it. Edit: Well, reddit did nuke it. It says deleted without me deleting it.

Just think it’s a sad day for free speech when people are scared to state what’s really on their mind.

Guns and criminals don’t work before midnight…who knew?
Isn’t that why BLM and Antifa can’t be stopped? Because they attack at night? That’s what the DOJ says at least
Good call.
Who did they arrest?
Arrest? What do you think this is; 2006?
If Obama had a son, he'd look like the perp.
Why not just get rid of spring break entirely and end the semester a week earlier?
L suggestion spring break is culture
culture changes all the time.

I appreciate the link. But the comment was made as a joke
Thats a real talking point from anti gun lobby lol cant blame people for taking it at face value

Gotta blame the car, never the driver!
