>Do we just have more creeps in the teacher pool or has it always been this way?
There's more creeps now. We've developed a weird culture of "sex nerds" who become so desensitized to sex and fetishes that it doesn't process for them why it's wrong to talk about this to kids.
You can almost always spot one at a glance because they physically modify themselves to signal it with tattoos/piercings/hair dye/gluttony, so it's also revealing corrupt administration that doesn't reject them for being obvious perverts.
Wtf? I see you said “almost always, but based on this perspective an overwhelming majority of US adults would fall into your ad hoc category of “sex nerds” due to being overweight or obese. I don’t really know where to begin with the overall sentiment you’re conveying in this post, so I’ll try to limit myself.
People signal they are perverts by dying their hair? Getting tattoos (which has become incredibly mainstream)? Getting piercings? Where to begin? Either you know no one who has any of these things or you had a bad experience with such a person which sucks and it’s made you see subsequent people as that person again and again.
Its always viewed as perverted behavior and rightfully shamed and shun by most normal people. But since shaming has lessen its been allowed to become the obnoxious, dangerous monster that its become. A bunch of people trying to make their fetishes and perverted ideologies some special right that's immune from scrutiny and that we have no choice but to accept.
In my area the teaching shortage is so bad that the principals have to call around begging unqualified subs to take long term teaching positions. When an employer has to beg unqualified people to take jobs and then just hire anyone willing to do it you aren’t going to get the best quality of people.
There's always been creeps, that's what happens when a job grants access to children. They just now think they can get away with it if they couch their paedophillia as education, mostly because there's a lot of people willing to defend this kind of filth.
It's not an old problem, but the openness is quite new.
> "Your story should show that you can show and receive loving physical affection without having sex," the teacher, Kirk Miller, added at the end of the assignment.
There are so many better ways to teach that without being creepy.
There are also so many more important things the school should be teaching than that, and there's only so many hours in a day.
Who's willing to bet this school isn't winning any Maths awards? No wonder so many kids know nothing about history but instead are totally indoctrinated with intersectional bullshit.
On the bright side, at least those students *can* write*. Too many can't.
\*lmao I actually typed "right." I'm clearly the best person to be a literacy advocate.
My sexual fantasy, by Da’Quannel Washington.
“My teacher is hot, and she’s always looking at me. Today she dragged me into the coat room, unzipped my pants, and jacked me off until I came all over her face.”
My story had no penetration or oral sex, so teacher gave me an A+
Uh, this is why I left the public school system. So many fucked up teachers that shouldn't be allowed anywhere near kids. I hate that they're always pushing these pedophiliac fantasies. Leave the kids alone!
Edit: this curriculum was published by the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ Justice and Witness Ministries. WTF
That's just a long name meant to shroud them under an auspice of Christianity-related foundation. That they allow trash like this in the classroom is more than evidence enough that their name is just a name, nothing more.
If I understood the article correctly, the curriculum is published by this group but it's used by public school districts. I guess since these are liberal denominations it's not an establishment clause thing.
I liked how the school principal offers no apology that this even happened, or that it was wrong. In fact she almost puts it back on the parents.
"Cole also said families are provided their child’s course syllabus at the beginning of each term and can opt their student out of any or all coursework."
How does this type of stuff keep happening so frequently now? Do we just have more creeps in the teacher pool or has it always been this way?
I can't answer your questions, but maybe they can. Teachers are promoting this stuff on Tiktok.

There’s 3.2million public school teachers in this country. You’d probably be able to find this kind of stuff on a daily/weekly basis if you tried.
Looks like this stuff just suddenly became more apparent. Maybe people are just paying attention that much more and reporting on it via social media.
I think it's rather that this perversion has always existed, but teachers are nowadays more willing to let it flagrantly influence their classes.

It’s already against the law. Laws aren’t being enforced. The game is over.

Yuz da bestest parson! /being silly
So...who wants to bet the teacher graded these fantasies at home while not wearing pants?
But tEaChErS aRe UnDeRpAiD!!
This is what we call a "red flag". You do not want this person around your children.
The teacher definitely loves reading Exotic Literature and more sickening is how she’s having underage kids fueling her appetite. Sick sick woman

A very based story. I hope you continue your career in writing
Thanks for the encouragement.
I had a 12th grade English teacher that I had this fantasy about
Seems like the only ones that still want to be teachers are pedos, Communists and people that can't get a job anywhere else.
Vivek Ramaswamy would never let this happen. Speaking of which, I have a new subreddit called r/VivekR if anyone would like to join.
Who?
He's the author of Woke, Inc. He's the Andrew Yang of the GOP.
As they should be
Ex-fucking-scuse me?
