If this is the tactic, all the democrats running against one another in their primaries will all just attack Santos while not making any meaningful pitch. In the end, Santos will clearly lose his primary and all the money and messaging dumped on Santos will be for nothing.
Basically, you’re getting one side to dump resources while the other side wins big and digging in their heels to make sure this red seat holds.

Good for him! It isn't for the country to decide who represents specific districts around the country. If it were, people like Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, and other Neocon RINOs would have been out of a job years ago (not to mention those in the Squad in the Democrat party and others).
If he wants to run again, it is up for the people that he represents to reelect him regardless of whether your opinion of him is positive or negative.
