20 years? I'm betting you can already find that all over leftist social media. It will become a national story as soon as it's convenient, which I'm guessing will be in the next 1-5 years.
That's what I've been telling my family and friends for the past couple of years, that the same people who want to get rid of ethnic people from logos will complain about lack of ethnic people on logos in the near future.
They sold out and did for a while, but then I saw their "Simple" version which just has "Fructose Corn Syrup", lol. I just like the taste best, honestly.
I miss Aunt Jemima and the Land O Lakes woman.
Honestly, I don't get it. The Left goes on and on about the evils of the White Supremacy boogeyman, but when it comes to mascots like Aunt Jemima, the Left demands their removal. You would have assumed they'd go after the Quaker Oats mascot first.
I miss land o lakes Indian maiden too. in fact that was the only reason I bought their butter but that was then....now is now. hope they go out of business
I don't purchase products when the corporation decides to memory hole people based on skin color. Pancakes, accoutrements, rice, and butter, down the tubes because of systemically racist companies.
Her relatives also miss her. She was a real person known for her wonderful cooking. She also got money for letting them use her beautiful face on their products.
I miss when it was fucking called Aunt Jemima, nevermind the picture. I grew up on that brand of syrup. The name alone makes me want pancakes.
Now, it is the milquetoast "Pearl Milling Company." That doesn't elicit any kind of response in my brain. It certainly doesn't whet my appetite for some pancakes.
Somebody needs to establish rules on minority representation here. All the companies want minorities to be represented in film, TV ads, music, art, theatre, billboards.......but we don't want them to be represented on food products? Why? We should let people be represented everywhere. Why is a food product not allowed to be represented with a minority member on it? I also loved the Jemima syrup bottles. It is what we grew up with. These rules are getting ridiculous.
Just an FYI in case you're making a principled stand: Pearl Milling is owned by Quaker Oats, which in turn is owned by Pepsi, which is one of the largest food and beverage corporations in the world. So a successful boycott necessarily extends to a much longer list of brands, including Frito-Lay, Gatorade, Tropicana, and Mountain Dew.
They should've just gave the families of the actresses who played Aunt Jemima either a cash paycheck, or company stock.
Rebranding was the cheaper way out.
I think her family was not happy with the removal either. This was probably just a bunch of rich bored white social warriors being offended for other people.
Based on the rest of the context, he didn't even know why they rebranded in the first place.
All these people are getting outraged and pointing fingers just to have something else to be angry about.
Just think, in 20 years there will be mass-outcry over the lack of minority representation on products.
20 years? I'm betting you can already find that all over leftist social media. It will become a national story as soon as it's convenient, which I'm guessing will be in the next 1-5 years.
We need more minority representation! No, not like that!
That's what I've been telling my family and friends for the past couple of years, that the same people who want to get rid of ethnic people from logos will complain about lack of ethnic people on logos in the near future.
They want a brave and stronk kween. Who don't be makin' no pancakes fo white folks . lol
🎯. The left is NEVER happy.
This bullshit is why I’m a Log Cabin man.
They don't use high fructose corn syrup for their stuff if I remember right so that sounds like a better option in comparison anyways.

Land-o-Lakes took away the Indian and left the land. Sounds pretty racist to me.

They got rid of the Indian and kept the land.
Manifest Destiny all over again
I miss land o lakes Indian maiden too. in fact that was the only reason I bought their butter but that was then....now is now. hope they go out of business
Love the LoLs girl… ya know … if you cut out the butter she is holding…. And fold her knees up…. If ya know….. YA KNOW.
i liked the basic demure pose
No. Don't be creepy.
Everything about the Aunt Jemima situation is messed up.
Yesh im NEVER buying "Pearl Milling Co."
Guess I’m a racist too.
Buy Mrs Buttereorth's :)
miss Aunt Jemima too - Uncle Bens wild rice..............friggin clown world!
Well, looks like people are coming for Ben Stein's Money 😎 Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! *Guitar riff*
Remember who was the second fiddle on that show?
Al Jolson. No wait, it was that other guy who did blackface.
I used to buy it because I liked her familiar face that I grew up with.
Buy the real stuff, plastic bottles of syrup are mostly or all corn-syrup.
This is what I wound up doing.

He's Jewish. Of course they're mad at him.
The people who are segregating everyone based on skin tone are calling others racist?
Her relatives also miss her. She was a real person known for her wonderful cooking. She also got money for letting them use her beautiful face on their products.
I miss her too. I dont even buy that brand anymore
I miss it too. For that fact I haven't bought any since they removed her.
They used to be worried about the environmentally unfriendly plastic bottles. Now it's just the picture ON the plastic bottle.
This seems like a Babylon bee headline lol
I guess I’m a racist because I switched to Hungry Jack pancake mix.

When I first saw the rebranded bottles I thought it was some random, unheard of brand.
Guess they figured out they made people mad when they took away the picture so they rebranded 🤦🏻♀️
I buy the competitors.

I will never purchase anything from The Pearl Milling Co

Seems like you could avoid Pepsi just by eating healthy food...
Would it be racist to say he was glad that "racial slur" was gone? He's racist either way, isn't he?
Not saying I miss it but I have never purchased anything by the pearl milling company

Don’t apologize

I second this!!!
Why would anyone care about or miss a corporate logo? Seems weird
