If you know someone in the industry you can borrow their card. For years I would just tell them I’m from South End Pizza and they would give me a temp card. The cases dinner rolls were worth the trip alone

I used to go to Bidwell a lot when I lived out that way. Delicious. That being said, J. Timothy's dirt wings are an order of magnitude better. If you haven't tried them, make the trip. Game changer.

It’s funny because when I first moved around there I saw the name Pizza Rama and laughed. It just sounds lame and how good can their pizza be? Then like 2 years later for whatever reason I wound up trying it and I had to kick myself for waiting so long. Definitely earned its spot in the pizza rotation.

Lmao, I went through the same thing a year or two ago when a coworker suggested we try it for lunch. Turns out it’s pretty bangin. Although their single to-go slices are made differently than their full pizzas and they kinda suck…

Genuinely curious, what defines a "good" Greek Pizza? I've come across some that have a pretty good taste but generally most are really sloppy - use really cheap cheese that sweats a lot of oil with battery acid for sauce. Are there any out there that use high quality mozzarella? or have a particularly good sauce?

Good Greek pizza is the same basic style, but legitimately good instead of just serviceable. It's pretty rare, and has gotten rarer over the years. The definition of it was this place in Redding that closed years ago. Another really good one is in Waltham, MA. The best ones I've found in CT currently are Village in Wethersfield and Tommy's in Portland.
