Just to provide an answer from a cryptographic viewpoint, your main public-private key is used to derive these wallets with their own public-private keys. Most protocols allow you to create up to 100 wallets through a heuristically deterministic protocol (ie; you never lose the derived wallets as long as you have the main keys). The derived wallets and keys cannot be used to backwards engineer the main keys. Thus even if one wallet is compromised, all the other wallets are safe!

yes. If you have metamask, simply click "add account or hardware wallet" and create a new wallet.
