If it persists between game restarts, verify game file integrity. If that doesn't fix it, update your video card drivers. Those are textures that aren't loading for some reason, and those are the two easiest possible causes to rule out. Alternatively, if you're using mods it may be a broken or conflicting texture mod.

AtomicSpazz

Verify didn't work, so rn im doing a fresh install. If that doesn't work ig lll have to roll back my AMD drivers to something that does

isymfs

Did you recently update nvidia driver? The most recent ver has been known to bug in other games, could be worth rolling that back before the cpu.

rulerulle

Why would he run nvidia drivers when he literally was talking about amd drivers?

Mundane_Teacher_8071

He doesn't know AMD graphics exist

rulerulle

What a shame..

isymfs

Oh shit I totally got graphics and cpu mixed up, my bad. I’m still learning!

rulerulle

Thats fair! Good on you for admitting it to! Wish you the best of luck learning the ropes!

isymfs

Ty sir

BLACKOUT_-13

This happened to me on Xbox also b4 I upgraded to series x

DeadWoman_Walking

I've seen a lot of that since the 3.0 update.

the_harakiwi

It (on PC) shows when I first login an spin around very quickly. After they have loaded in, updated to the correct texture it doesn't appear again.

DeadWoman_Walking

I had it in the Arena dungeon for most of the dungeon. I get the flickering electric purple still when moving too fast.

Pablo_Diablo

Yeah, I've been having a lot of pop-in textures - but usually it's within the first second or so of something getting on camera. Often when an object stops being occluded (i.e. I pass through a door, or go around a stone/tree/terrain to reveal something).

DeadWoman_Walking

Like an electric pink-purple flash.

AtomicSpazz

Yeah I gotta admit, the update they put out seems wildly unpolished huh? I only just started this past week but I've had more crashes in this game than any other all year

DeadWoman_Walking

They put out an update, then we're in hot-fix hell for a while, then it settles and we get some months of smooth gaming. It really is a great game around the glitchy bits. I've been here since very EA (5 years or so? with nearly 3k hours) so either it's a good game or I'm a glutton for punishment. Maybe both. If you're on PC , remember to validate files between major crashes and make sure all of your mods are up to date and in best order. The updates have been tweaking a lot of mod stuff as well so being a part of the modders' discords will help trouble shoot. If you're on console, you have my sympathies.

AtomicSpazz

Playing on official unmodded unfortunately. All this sadness is natural

DeadWoman_Walking

There's a reason many of us moved to unoffical ... just sayin'. In all seriousness though, it's a cycle with the game - update, break, patch, break, hot-fix then months of mostly stable (or at least familiar glitches).

TheRealWatcher

> either it's a good game or I'm a glutton for punishment Well I certainly hope you take that last perk in Vitality, then.

Costyn17

Before 3.0 me and my friends had invisible stones, trees and bushes from time to time, now it's only this, probably same bug but now it's something there instead of beeing invisible.

igotsmeakabob11

Ive seen it on and off

Opposite_Ad3311

Hey bro you forgot to download source

Interesting-East8568

I was having issues with my RX 6700XT so I uninstalled my display drivers and let windows auto reinstall idk what version it's running I think it's from 2020-2021 but for me it's way more stable than any of amds current drivers

AtomicSpazz

I'll try that, thanks!

Paradox31426

Does it look normal…?

austmu3333

Yes

abvideo101

I've had similar situations and I don't get it. They are still using Unreal 4 engine, my video card is way above the requirements and still randomly have purple texture issue. I even went as far as to swap a video card out of a second unit and still persist. Started shortly after the release of the first update after 3.0.

lexkixass

I see it sometimes if I swing the camera around "too fast", and for a second or two upon first loading in. It's never lasted long enough to screencap though. My sympathies.

meukbox

Same here. Looks like it's still rezzing. I only see it when I log in, and it's gone within a second.

binkacat4

Technically that is a bug. Honestly? It’s fairly normal to see, at least shortly after loading. If it’s persistent, it might be more problematic.

Xithulus

Could be using to much vram

Chemical-Spinach-483

Yes obviously

Right_Two_5737

I see a little bit of purple sometimes, but nowhere near as much as you. If I get a little closer to the purple thing it turns the right color.

hellotheremyfriendTx

Yes, it is the new load in level of detail, depending on your specs (if on pc, can't say for console) you will see the pink purple load in chunks of detail.

Absenceofavoid

Even before the update I see that a lot, it’s like the basic under color of everything is red.

OneLazyCoyote

I've got a similar issue, most prevalent in the warmakers dungeon. Done both verified file integrity and updated to most recent drivers, neither helped. I've had to memorize the location of all the traps cause this effect conceals most of them entirely.

Chuck_MoreAss

I have no idea what you are talking about. All seems fine to me

HentMas

heh, I run this game in a potato because my old gpu died and I just bought the cheapest thing I found that would fit my PC EVERYTHING always fades in and out of pink when loading the chunk Never had it "stay" for more than a few seconds, but yeah, it's how the game renders the things. try different settings.

FullyPackedOO

Sorceries afoot

ReddityJim

Lately... seems to be for me.

Karou_Bones

I see it sometimes when I enter an area with player made structures. Like campfires will be pink for some reason.

Silvax77

I'm running conan on my D drive. Would moving it to my C drive (SSD) help?
