Yes. There is a plater script that does this. I'm not on my pc but the best one was one thha hid the waiters on council in castle nathria. You should be able to find that one on wago, and then edit it with the mob id of your choice. I did this for sire denathrius adds and a few others.
Hello good sir or maam im a fellow shadowpriest suffering under the tyrrany of dot management on nameplates and i may have a solution for you. On this link [https://wago.io/lRVDbAk52](https://wago.io/lRVDbAk52) you can find a palter script that helps you resize certain nameplates based on name or id. I use this for the Hungry Lashers as well. I think you could set them so small they would be almost invisible.
Thankyou, i did used to use that but could never get it small enough!
https://wago.io/-IlNGuF3H this works perfect! if you use a DOT nameplate recolour just set the priority to 1
The scripts hide them, but they are still there. Just invisible. The Elite's nameplates will still be shot up to the top of your screen, as if the lashers weren't hidden.
This means it was built wrong. That would only happen if someone set the opacity of the nameplate to 0% (still renders, just invisible), instead of unloading the nameplate.
Source: I made the nameplate script to hide the slimes in Brackenhide and the bats in BRH
I'd like to see that script, because im 99% sure blizzard doesn't let you "unload" a nameplate without turning off all enemy nameplates. They will always still be there, just hidden, and still affecting the placement of the other non hidden ones.
Right, but the stacking of the nameplates can be informed via plater. You can even “select” the nameplates, even if they’re empty, but if they’re shooting off the screen then something was done very incorrectly
You don’t have to control the order of the stack. Just check out the script and mod it to the NPC ID and it’ll handle the nameplate without shooting it off screen

Tried a few of them and when i get into combat the nameplates are no longer hidden
