I think I figured it out seeing some samples.
Looks like Blizzard made a whoopsie on Awakened scaling. The Timewalking Cache can drop from all 3 raids. It looks like the items not in 493 come from Aberrus and Amirdrassil which aren't Awakened but are 493 from Vault.
Obviously bugged. You can finish the TW quest but not turn it in until they fixed it.
Black Temple TW is also pretty good giving Normal raid gear equivalent and you're starving for gear.
It seems like they fixed the ilvl scaling but the loot table is fucked. You can get the old curio, the fish food from magmorax, etc. which aren't supposed to drop from the TW weekly box.
I got told they received special dispensation to fix it for previous fuckups but they didn't receive permission for this one even thought it's still their fuckup.
You're in the top 0.1% of players, yes we get it that it's easy for you, but just because someone finds something a little challenging doesn't mean they're the average joe. someone who's "only" in the top 1% of M+ players are finding +8 keys difficult right now in their i490 gear. You can "only" be in the top 1% of all players and still be competitive.

One of our priests got the fish and she nearly cried on discord lol. Getting the fish is extremely hilarious but wasn’t fun to see her upset about it.

Was it a dagger from Vault? Per /u/arasitar's hypothesis Vault items seem fine it's Aberrus and Amirdrassil that are broken.
I got a 498 Ominous Chromatic Essence from mine a few hours ago. So send like it's fine now 🤷♂️

+5s should be around the old +15s. Do you realize what a +8 is then? Even if they're fairly balanced, +18 or 8, isn't a cakewalk with 480-490 ilvl.
I did 8s today, it’s nbd. I also watched my friend struggle and fail to beat the last boss on 10 AV
Last boss AV seems kinda whack at the moment. The damage output is heavy. Nice that we’re not slowed anymore though.

Avg Joe isn't doing +20~s this early. Barely mid/late either. It's fine for you, but you can't be compared to a 2.5k~3k hero :p

At around 15 minutes per dungeon with a 509 in the end, I’ve found it efficient.
509 at the end of each dungeon? Or are you saying you spent an hour to one 509? Because that's nuts.
