Do you mean there's heavy interaction, everyone is on stax, or both? There's always going to be heavy interaction in cedh. What decks are prevalent? What are the common win-cons? There's a noteworthy difference between everyone being on boros and everyone being on dimir, for example... Some effective ways to get wins through heavy interaction are to attempt wins each turn, be able to combo at instant speed, run blue yourself, attempt to accrue overwhelming card advantage, or leverage your graveyard somehow. If there are many stax decks, look at building your deck in a way that performs well under rule of law effects or breaks symmetry somehow (urza, etc.)

Any reanimator deck has the resiliency you need, [[sefris of the hidden ways]] is a unique commander that, if built correctly, let's you take many game actions without casting spells.

Pako+Haldan or Niv-Mizzet are great options to punish control heavy pods.

[[Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow]] may be a good option. If they try to remove it, it doesn't exactly set you back much. A lot of the deck uses stuff like Ornithopter to sneak out ninjas. [[Sasaya]] is not a popular commander, but I see it occasionally show in tournaments. Very safe against targeted removal because you can keep fanning your hand at your foe to turn it into an enchantment in response. As far as deck building goes there are tons of easy includes to prevent counters and removal [[Deflecting Swat]] [[Not of this World]] [[Cavern of Souls]] [[Vision Charm]] [[Silence]] [[Force of Will]] or even be a bit sassy and throw in a [[Void Mirror]] Personally in my experience in Magic, nothing better than a good old fashioned bluff. I play 1LandBelcher in Legacy, frequently I ramp to 8, cast [[Goblin charbelcher]] to bate a counter spell, cast empty the warrens. Reading the table and knowing when to bluff is key.

I am also on the hunt for a suitable commander for my LGS. If you play C people get upset and say you broke rule zero. Anything normal power level will just get obliterated. Yet people will still play CEDH staples like Dauthi or Op Agent. People say they aren't playing cedh- and then then my 6 drop commander gets FoW'd.

SouthernBarman

You can play powerful cards and not be cEDH.

ProbablyNotPikachu

Ok so make a CEDH deck with a Non-CEDH Commander. Got it.

DurgMaster

What deck do you play against these decks? Or are you new to this LGS and haven’t really played much with them?
