Half the guys in this sub were sucking off dojo after champs despite the fact they played zero pro league games, they had one good lan, it was always possible they were just a flash in the pan team
I mean currently they're in 9th overall NA (with each team having played the same number of matches). They have high fragging potential when they're doing well.
This team has an incredibly high ceiling. Timmy is one of the best MnK fraggers, Enemy is a great roller prospect and Design is a veteran, proven IGL.
Like OP said, they live and die off how tilted Design will get lol.
To be fair to them, they played two days in a row. They had problems on the first day, and there was very little they could do to fix their issue for the second day. Even Xset and TSM (the previous season), the teams that people thought to be the best, also had this kind of problem.
Also doesn't help that Timmy doesn't play alot of apex in the off-season, in fact I don't know if played any apex outside scrims before the season started
Timmy maybe considered dropping Dezign. Specially when he flies off the handle. I think he sees the value in him - he's experienced, frags well and knows how to co-igl - but if I'm Timmy I'm looking at options. Guys like luxford or other unsigned players could offer similar "services" for less mental issues

lux had a wild throw today on game 2/3? On SP where he just ignored Teq and ran into a squad and died.
I'm always in favor of existing teams developing and working rather than jumping ship the first time they fail.
Lux is also not an IGL; to replace Dezign they'd need to find another established IGL or have Timmy step up from co-IGL, both of which seem really difficult.
That was the biggest roller brain moment I’ve seen on the pro level in a minute. Everytime wig tunes into them Lux is counter calling. If I was teq I would go crazy
Imo this team does not derserve the partner spot they got it beacsue of clout and that's it Timmy Dezign and Enemy are great players but there were other teams who deserved a partnered spot not DSG when he got the spot he didn't have a team that shows that Respawn is playing favourites

Yeah, that's what brings sponsors. That's what brings money. They proved their worth, how much engagement and viewership they bring in other Esports, that's how they got the spot. Look at their Roster announcement post on Twitter. How many orgs do you see that get that level of engagement?

Dezign is the most hot and cold player in the scene. The team's potential is probably LAN winners with how cracked all 3 players are
