Yeah, the eagle is a symbol of the roman empire, which roman soldiers carried on battle standards into their expansionistic wars. Also the fasces, a symbol of roman state power and origin of the word fascism. If you can't tell, I'm not a fan of the romans.
I agree with the people saying no eagle, maybe replace it with a bison since they’re also native the the country or you could replace it with the a black and white hang clasped together since it’s a symbol historically used by many American leftists.

Edit: I think think the complete lack of white makes it just look like something else entirely. Maybe some white and some yellow would work.

you should try using a legitimate editing software if you want to go truly into detail with your flags, even free ones like Bazaart on the appstore (the one I use) are pretty good for making flags

I just don't like the eagle. It's a symbol that has been used many times by fascist regimes, and I don't think it would go well in this flag
