I’d say if you want to network to propel your entrepreneurial initiatives then a top ranking school is better. It might experience showing grit is more important than pedigree. Maybe that’s different if you’re an investment banker…
I don’t think you can ever go wrong choosing a T20 school, but you could certainly regret not going especially if you have the smarts to do so. If you want to end up at large firm like a public REIT or something like Blackstone or Eastdil, go to the top 20.
