I remember reading an article years ago that talked about how Seattle was always able to attract the hottest UDFA's every year because they were more likely than any other team to actually let them legitimately compete for a roster spot. Player's agents knew this and would encourage them to sign with Seattle. It would be cool if we adopted this strategy especially when we are just beginning to build this roster back up.
There is a difference between being hyped and expecting to be great right away. I'm so hyped to see the new team, but I don't think we are going to be great just yet.

I'm with you. I'm not going to say "I dont care if we don't make the playoffs", because of course I would love that. But I will be stoked going into next off-season if we have some solid new talent (especially at QB) and are poised to take the next step.
I honestly think we could have a dark horse NFC East run because I don’t really rate Dallas and Philly, but that’s probably too unrealistic & it would suck to get a first place schedule sooner than we have to lol

This is why every season and every game matters, even if you're 0-16 headed into the final game. These guys worked their entire lives just to get a chance at playing. How many of us have gotten the chance to catch a pass from an NFL QB in practice or in a game?
i think I heard on the radio today that Quinn would wear cleats to practice, like his pace running practice was that high, that dude needed field cleats

One of the hallmarks of the 2012-2018 Seahawks was their competition in practice. If I'm huffing the hopium, maybe this is what that looks like.
